Love the fact that this thing was built to run, not for show. I have nothing against a fancy paint job but gotta dial in the performance first. Especially in the turns!
That guy has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to motorcycles. His videos are great, I and always learn something new with each video. I want a TC fxr now.
I love Sals builds! I still put his chopper in my top five favorite bikes I've seen in person. That shifter though!!!! That gives me some serious ideas! ...wish I was thinking about a FXR frame that's in a friend's garage attic!
Bad Foot's straight forward, no nonsense youtube videos where one of the first resources I found for Twin Cam FXR swap insights, and a big reason why I started making vids detailing the process so that it might help others.
Hey @badfoot, so if I use the block off plate on my 00 road king trans for my TC swap, does that allow me to use my FXR mid controls? Thanks! Great build! TC swapping my 1990 FXRS this winter with a 2000 Road King drivetrain.
I don't usually ride just in my t-shirt but I'll do it today while going just to the mall 5 min ride U gotta do it at least once or twice a year when the temperature is like it is today above 30 degrees Celsius,IT IS 34 JEEZ , 90 FAHRENHEIT FOR U,well rn the PC says 89
my Dyna has the correct evolution engine in it..! Omg 😳 you cut the frame..!! Do you know one day these bikes will be very extinct and valuable sorry brother it just kills me to see that.!!

Performance definitely front and center on this thing
God, I'd love to get my FXR from Alaska to NYC so Sal can work some magic on it. Absolutely amazing machine.
That would be truly epic - What year do you have?
@@FXDLSBrooklyn 1990 FXLR. Would be badass journey for sure.
Just a straight forward no nonsense runner that is most definitely going to good use.
Right? Thing is something else!

Thank you omar 🤙
The best ☝️
Thanks man. It's always good to hear about the different mods people put together to make a better functioning bike.
Fxr rules. Whatta build!!! Much respect!
Definitely a show stopper!
The way this FXR was done is an excellent blueprint for TC upgrades. Thanks for making this video.
As you know, I’m an FXR fanatic. THIS, is awesome

Peter Gunz “Frankenstein XR” 🔥🔥
Crushing it
I support this type of build.
Hell yeh. Gonna be a ripper
Right? Can't wait to see it in action!
Love it!! 🤘🤘
Agreed
OGs say to leave the rubber belt drive on these FXRs because feels way "jerkier" to the ride with a chain.
I've ridden it both ways and have noticed little difference - However, if I ever got another one, I would probably leave the belt

Nothing like it!
Shits ratty af. Love it.
One of my favorite FXRs out there right now
Man talk about all go... n this one has plenty of show.
omg soo happy to see this...BF is the best
Yeah he crushed it with this one!
Is the oil tank under the seat? Looks like a fun bike
Oil pan is part of the trans case from flt bagger
That's what I thought when I first saw it
Shwing!
🔥
Am I missing something I mean I’m old guy but what the hell is wrong with a beefed up 80” evo….
my kinda sled tough az what kinda $$$ to build for me .greetings from new zealand chur bro
He's got his own channel, go check out his videos and ask him
If I could take the 103 H.O. with the 6 speed trans out of my 2016 Heritage and put it in my FXR I would be oh so happy!
With enough time and money anything is possible!🤣🤣
That drivetrain would bolt right into a frame like this with these mods
Do it!
Long winded?! Haha!!!

Nothin to worry about, just ride safe my friend.
@@theviolator1074 oh ye it was nice, although if I were to do a longer ride I'll get my jacket, the sun rly burns your arms

The death of a FXR…!!!!! It’s not the same bike now…!!
my Dyna has the correct evolution engine in it..! Omg 😳 you cut the frame..!! Do you know one day these bikes will be very extinct and valuable sorry brother it just kills me to see that.!!
I would do ten times over for the performance you will get - It can also be done without cutting the frame
Brooooo whasuuuup

Ruined a good FXR. S&S maybe. But a Twin Cam? WTH?
It makes sense if you're trying to push the bike passed what an Eva could reasonably do
@@FXDLSBrooklyn I guess. So.. on the 88, put in gear drive cam, External oil pump, cam, and... O wait... You have an EVO now!!
