I’ve always thought rubber mounted sportsters were the successor to the fxr. They handle very similar. 3 rubber mounting points, the triangle in the frame, and a better engine configuration.
I have an 03 Sporty and s 93 FXR. Took em both CO-Sturgis, Montana, etc. Both seem similar ride, but I stop every hour to walk around, take some pix, snd admire my bike, so I never really pushed either beyond three consecutive hours riding without a break.
I have a ‘93 as well (same paint scheme, FXRS-C). Been to Sturgis many times, over Black Hills dirt trails, (dirt/rock) Schofield Pass (CO), and many other interesting places. IMO, best bike Harley ever made.

Sounds good. A nice road to ride on.
Had the ‘93 FLHTC Anniversary edition.
Did you replace the rubber mount? Where did you get it?
What's a decent price on these? I'm lookin at a 1994 with 8000 miles on it. Runs titled and everything.

Freaked me out watching you ride with fingers on the clutch and brake lever ALL the time! Weird!!
It’s a safety thing, I do it, and do it on my bicycle,
@@xghhddhfx8196 Maybe it's safe for you, I prefer to have a light but firm grip on the bars. Different strokes. Nice video!
