Spooky Beatz yes my left eye is weak if I look to the left I can see the vision of my left eye. Or when I use my eyepatch I can see my left eye but with both eyes open, I only see with my right eye. It's hard to explain since I don't know how It's like for both eyes to have the same vision.

I've always wanted normal binocular vision, we tried the patch but I resisted (like lots of kids do) I've heard of several things, magnetic stimualation of the brain, vision therapy, neurovision correction (if that's any different from vision therapy) spending a week in the dark, anesthetizing the lazy eye's retina, I hope there will be a cure within my lifetime. I can see why it's one of the hardest problems to fix as it's neurological, even straightening the eye won't work if it didn't develop normally.
I recently found some articles on using anaglyph glasses. Apparently, lazy eye it's not an issue with sight initially (in most cases) but rather an issue with the brain processing the information in receives from the one eye. Which then leads the brain prioritising the other eye, which in time weakens the other. So the idea with the anaglyph glasses and it's games is to get the eye used to working together with the other. Correction with glasses comes afterwards. I'm also suffering from amblyopia (notice that I've covered my one eye in my display picture. This is because it stands out in still images, and I'm very uncomfortable with it) I've ordered a pair of these glasses and hope that they will work. Got my anaglyph glasses today (28/06/2022). Downloaded a few games on PlayStore. I'm now truly realising how unsynchronized my eyes are. They work 100% independently. It's quite frustrating to use this thing as I can only look at the game's interface with one eye at a time. I hope of course that there will be a coordination improvement within 6 months. I'll keep y'all updated.

@@mrcesar550 for me things don't double up anymore since I am only able to use one eye at a time at this point, so I can't say if you do have amblyopia. Your best bet if to visit an optometrist for a proper diagnosis. All the best.

Update. I've struggling with using these glasses and I finally know why. When I got my glasses, I was forced to get a normal useless lense for my prescription glasses on the left eye. This was because this particular optometrist didn't have the equipment in their lab to make a really thick lense. So I settled since I'd basically given up on my left eye at the time. Now that I'm trying to use my prescription glasses with the anaglyph glasses on top for the exercises, it's very apparent that I need both eyes to have proper vision ( aided by glasses) because, even though I can somewhat align my eyes for a few minutes now, it's double blurry vision since the left eye Sees a blurry image without a proper lense to match the right eye. That being said, I'll have to stop these exercises until I can get a lense to match my right eye. 07/07/2022
So I was born with amblyopia but then we always called it crossed-eyed. I recently found out I had amblyopia when I went to the eye doctor. I was in the process of getting my CDL to drive the school bus I couldn’t pass the vision test so therefore I can’t move forward with the job🥺

I've been in glasses because of amblyopia since I was one years old. I'm 17 now, and I've been told for years by many doctors that my eyes will improve, but I can hardly see out of one eye. Even with my glasses on, I can't see well out of it. You always hear that if you catch a lazy eye at a young age, and you always wear your glasses, this is something people grow out of. Why is this not going away for me? Are my glasses suppressing my eyes and stunting any improvements? It makes me wonder if my eyes rely on this illusion of glasses where it doesn't even bother to strengthen itself. But if I don't wear glasses I feel a pressure in my eyes, then I can feel one slowly drifting...Idk what to do. I'm so sick of glasses. I'm afraid I'm gonna be stuck like this forever.

Having amblyopia I wasn't supposed to see out of my left eye as it's only in my left. The eye doctor said I had forced myself so much to see with it (drawing as a child all day) that I naturally for used to it and am able to see it just looks like I have a lazy eye sometimes when my right eye favors to do something. Wearing a patch will most likely weaken your eye which in the long run won't help much.
Yes they will give you eye patch and encourage you to do some eye exercises like book coloring. I had lazy eye when i was a kid. Now my eyes are perfectly fine 🙂 All the best to you ❤ Early the good improvement. So visit ophthalmologist as soon as possible !
At 19, It's very unlikely that the normal methods will work ( mainly, patching), as they, in many studies, have been found to stop working after the age of 12. I am curious though. Were you able to get help?

At present I use contact lense for left eye (minus 7.5) I got to know about my lazy eye when I was 13 years Knowing that the doctor suggested me to wear glasses starting from minus 2.(left) minus 4( right) Further at the age of 20 I started using contact lenses. Using it on both eye resulted in distraction thus I stopped wearing it on right eye ( although the power was minus 11 it made no difference ) Later on even the doctors suggested to wear only on my left eye. Thus I have only one eye at present ( minus 7). Doctors confirmed there is no possibility for correction unless if I was under 13 years of age. Can anyone help me regarding this???

The power may decrease(rare chance) 2. It may remain constant (my left eye power remained 2.5 it's been 2, almost 3 yeasr) 3. The power may increase It depends on a person I guess well my right eye which was fine has gotten minus 0.5 now I think my right eye is getting worse now I probably need a minus 1 soon but my left eye seems to be constant it didn't change Well I hope my right eye doesn't get worse🙃🙃

I had this when I was a kid but had two surgeries, and though I still need glasses for an astigmatism, my eyes are pretty perfect now

You can get an Intrastate Waiver and get your CDL. I have amblyopia and im 20/200 in my weak eye and I’ve had my CDL for 8 years now.
