yes and Ami I'm sorry for giving them that because of smoking I ended up waiting for my death from COPD, pulmonary emphysema and fibrosis and I haven't worked for 4 years and I have a small 40 cm car one without brand
I just purchase the 26in and it’s doesn’t not cut nothing. Purchase the harbor freight one because it didn’t do clean cuts, buts things doesn’t cut nothing
Iv got rubi if the tiles is not made correctly it won't break it correctly I have had that experience on a few tiles called the rep out and that was the advice given unless u go wetsaw so trial cut a tile b4 u price jobs
I’m getting ready to install porcelain, wood plank style tiles with a textured face. Made by Daltile. It’s a herringbone layout, so everything will be crosscut. No rip cuts. Any thoughts on how these cutters will handle the texture? A 22mm was suggested for texture.
Yea, the 22m scoring wheel works great for textured tile. I'd recommend the titanium wheel shown around 6:30 into the video. I've used that one for textured tile multiple times with great results 👍
@@HowToTileLikeaPro awesome. Thanks. I may just have to pick one up. The Rubi website has some guidance for tile types, but I have seen a couple people mention you may have to try a wheel or two for the results.
@chrisryan3918 Yea, you might be able to sample them out at a Rubi Supplier. Rubi also has guys that travel and do demo in different areas, similar to the one on this video👍. But in my experience that Titanium one should handle it

Professionals know that there are different cutting wheels for different cutting materials, such as glass, ceramic, & porcelain. I bought the tungsten cutting wheel for hard porcelain 2 1/2 years ago, and I still use it to this day👍.
Brilliant!!!
🙌🙌
Thanks for the vid.
Seriously considering Rubi for some cutters.
Glad you enjoyed the video... I'm hoping to grab the larger one for plank tiles soon! 👌
Rubi makes serious pro tools!
Indeed! 💯🙌
Just bought the DT-10
Nice! how's that fold up feature? Seems cool, but I didn't get to see it fold up in person
@@HowToTileLikeaPro I don’t receive saw till tomorrow from UPS
@@michaelcompton3902 Nice! Let me know how it works out👌
@@HowToTileLikeaPro works great! Took me awhile to assemble but worth it.
@@michaelcompton3902 Good to hear!... I'm jealous! 🤣 that extended tray that's coming out in summer, sounds like a priceless feature! 💯
Hello sir am from the Gambia west Africa I'm tiler man and can i have this rubi machine
Yes! They are great Cutters! To go Rubi.com to find a location near you💯
Rubi the best but some people prefer the sigma one but I say nah man rubi buddy the best
😁Nice!! I've yet to try the Sigma, but I do love my Rubi board 💯
Sigma sucks. It's a pain to learn once you're used to the push type cutters.
the best tools in the world 7 years ago I was cutting with Rubi TS 50 then Rubi Star 60, Rubi star masc61, Rubi sped 66
Nice! I wish I had one 7 years ago! 🤣🤣 But, nice to know that Rubi Tools hold up on quality 👌

How is it working?
Motor burnt out already. Getting a replacement from Rubi soon

Just got a rubi and I am having a hard time getting a clean break. Maybe I am using to much pressure
What kind of tile are you cutting? And what board do you have?
You also need the right wheel.

Yeah, I do love my Rubi Cutter, but it doesn't replace a saw, it compliments it👌
Could you teach me when I am supposed to use wetsaw and when a rubi cutter?

Rubi is a good tile tool but it's like a toy compared to Sigma and Montolit
Looking forward to trying those out soon!
Which is best sigma or montolit?
@@LosmiPZS i believe they are both equal as far as precision and ease of use and price wise. Any of these two brands is considered top of the line
I have both rubi and sigma, and I love them both. Rubi does cut more accurately than anything I've used.
