I literally put off calling the dentist for months and then the other day I thought “I don’t have to wait until I get home to call them, I’ll just call them while I’m at work!” I called and they had an appointment the next day. I got so lucky 😭 …and the call took less than 30 seconds lol

Cari, I love little videos like these from you! It's always nice to kind of catch up with you and listen to you share love for sweet potatoes and persimmons. It's really the small things in life that make a day. Also, you don't need to feel pressured at all to always come out with something new to show us. Just being your candid and real self means so much. I think one thing I really enjoyed from one of your videos is when you showed us yourself dabbling in I think it was oil pastels? Just you commenting on how you were just enjoying the process kind of inspired me to delve into my old hobbies where I forgot about trying to perfect something. Also I love those bits in your videos where you talk about how you manage or get through the bad days, because we all have those! Your videos feel as though we're catching up with an old friend! Never boring! Being lucky enough to work from home and for yourself (as my wife and I do too), you have to celebrate the small things, and your videos remind me that every time 👍❤️👍
Hi Cari, I want to chime in with regards to your feelings about your content being repetitive. I can't speak for everyone but your weekly vlog is a little 20 to 30min escape for me, to a place that I love to revisit. Even watching you drink coffee in a cafe is a joy for me. Don't feel like every week you haev to go on some epic adventure, i am not, and i am sure most people are not. Most people just go to a 9 to 5 job everyday, same monitor, same desk, same room, same building.
Anyway, keep doing what you are doing. Lots of Love.
Sometimes you just need to do a homebody vlog, to ease the work frustrations. Either way, your videos are always so calming and soothing no matter the context.

Okay, but MY life is the same week to week too! And I actually don't like when my life is crazy and chaotic 😂 Its so comforting and lovely to watch what you share, especially because of the routine vibes. And remember, not a single person watching has the same life as you, so its still new to us!❤
Rain Jacket Pro Tip: I would always get an additional rain cape, like these really cheap, huge, plastic ones, for when the rain gets really bad, so you can just put it over yourself + backpack. They are not breathable but just very very good at keeping rain out. Trust me, I have been let down by the most expensive rain jackets in the past ☹.
as others have said, don't ever feel bad about posting "repetitive" content or filming a vlog from home... your videos are always so calming and i look forward to them every week regardless of the topic. keep it up :-)

Watching your vlogs is like watching a long distance friend living her life the way she wants to show us & not the life social media wants to see. Plus I don't feel as bad as about being a homebody (because being an introvert in a non-introvert job with lots of different peoples with different needs is more or less hard :D) 😊✨

I don't find these kinds of vlogs repetitive or boring. I can only speak for myself, but I'm here because I find you, Cari, and your every day life fun and cute (like your 말투, your moments with Kurt, your love for dogs), inspiring (your views on life and all that it entails), and full of tips for Korea and life in general (your little hikes at unknown places, your cooking, cafés, exhibits/museums, of course books).
I also do love your little trips and overnight stays, but for me it's the realness about your life I love most? that it's relatable daily life, yet so different cos I'm across the globe, but it and you and your vlogs seem so friendly and approachable and like a little dream, but one that doesn't seem out of reach? idk if my point is getting across here lol just know that I for one love your vlogs, even those without a lot of special things going on, cos isn't that just real life most of the time for most of us? so try not to fret too much 😘

Hey Carie - just found your chanel recently and wanted to say thank you for your content. I cant put it into words but it is exactly what i have been looking for and now i binged all your vlogs.
I was just thinking about how I love these vlogs that just follow you around your ordinary life, it’s like I’m living vicariously in another part of the world and is such a fun little escape for me. And just as I was thinking that you started talking about the vlogs being “boring” and “repetitive” and I wanted to tell you NO! They are not. I live in a small city in America and have only traveled outside the US three times because it is so expensive and I am a preschool teacher. But watching people like you living and doing very similar things on the other side of the world is my chance to pretend that I am a world traveler!

I totally get the stovetop thing - we renovated the kitchen during covid lockdown (as we were coming in and out of it I think) and we (6 people) lived off two tiny portable stovetops for like a solid idk month maybe because it took a while and my parents were doing everything themselves lol
