My husband and I recently bought "Ticket To Ride" and we love it. 😍 Beautiful quality board, cards and pieces. You can play a game in 30-60 minutes (with 2 of us it's typically 30 to 40 minutes per game). It's super fun and I'm so hooked I ended up buying the digital version too so I can play solo or online with others. It's strategic yet not super difficult and is a great stress reliever! It also has expansion packs and several other versions for countries around the world. I really appreciate your video - we've been considering several of the ones you mentioned and it was so helpful to get a better sense of what is involved - thanks for the info!😊
So glad to hear about your game time with your husband! Ticket to Ride was the first real board game we owned. It's featured in our great games for the family video!
My wife and I decided to start getting into board games and we picked up Ticket to Ride last week. We've played it so much and it's really opened us up to how much fun we can have playing games together. Glad you and you're husband enjoy it as well!
@@christophermorley4724 I'm glad you and your wife enjoy it too. We've been considering getting the 'Rails & Sails' version but its about $100 so we haven't taken the plunge quite yet.
I encourage you to keep at it with your channel because it starts very slow but subs will inevitably go up exponentially if you put out regular content. You got a new sub!
One of my all time favorites is "Pandemic". Very fitting to play these days. All players work together against the game itself, trying to keep its diseases at bay and finding cures.
Agreed! Additionally, Legacy is pretty cool because you shape your own version of Pandemic. You're not locked into playing that version, though. With a few slight changes, you can play the standard pandemic with the legacy board/components.

I’m always interested in videos detailing people’s tips for teaching games! Everyone has a different style so those don’t get old. I also think round table discussions about handling competitiveness as a couple in board gaming is great. An obvious answer to help is to play more coops, but beyond that… Ideas for discussion Qs: What can be done if one of the two in a couple is much more competitive? Is creating an agreement that “anything goes” on head to head games worthwhile, or should you both show love and kindness even in highly competitive two player games? Do you tend to “go after” one another more or less than you would another player when playing multiplier games with others? I’m also doing my grad research on using board and card games more inclusive for neurodiverse groups, so if you have worries/ideas/experiences around playing with people diagnosed with autism, ADHD, or other neurodiversities I’m always keen on those topics!
If you like it, you should, no must!, try the 2 Player card game Version of Catan! It works slighlty like 7 wonders but its a bit more Complex. Since i was 12 years old i played it vs my mom and we are still playing 16 years later.
Thanks so much for this list! Could not have come out at a more perfect time before the holidays. Out of all of these, Everdell and Codenames Duet seem like ones I will definitely be purchasing for my wife and I.
Patchwork, Jaipur and Fox and the Forest are our favorite dedicated two player games. Castles of Burgundy, Obsession and Tiny Epic Galaxies are our favorite 2+ player games that play really well with two players.
Dominion, we've been playing it for two years! And we bought 7 extensions 😂😅👌🏻 we put on 5 friends and we had dominion only evenings with so much fun 😂 we are considering buying a drawer for all the cards :-)
My husband and I play a lot of cooperative games. Pandemic is our hands-down favorite, but (in addition to a couple that you've mentioned) The Fox in the Forest Duet is a fun quick game. Chronicles of Crime, Back to the Future: Back in Time, Horrified, T.I.M.E. Stories, and Detective: A Modern Crime Board Game are a few others we enjoy playing. Happy gaming!
Thanks for the suggestions! Horrified is one of my favorite games! Theming is on point. We just played Pandemic: Fall of Rome last night and loved it (love the original too, one of Jonathan's favorites) Thanks for watching!
Patchwork and Azul are both solid couples games. We also have gotten a surprising amount of mileage out of Castles of Mad King Ludwig. Not an obvious choice as a two player but works really well! Honourable mention goes to Tales of the Arabian Nights as a lazy Sunday afternoon game.
You two are incredible. Super natural on camera and great content. Super shocked that this channel is so new, but not surprised that the videos are so well liked already :)
My wife and I enjoy playing a few two-player card games like Lost Cities and Quiddler. We've also played The Captain Is Dead a number of times with two players and four characters (each player controlling two characters).
We've played Codenames with groups (using horsepaste.com while social distancing), but haven't played Codenames Duet yet. (We've used the cards to expand the vocabulary of our Codenames set, but haven't played the Duet rules.) And we have Splendor, but haven't adapted it so my wife (who is blind) can play yet. I'm considering getting Sushi Go, which looks like a nice introduction to the "play one card and pass the rest" mechanism, and should be easy to adapt.
Spirit Island is a FANTASTIC co-op game for couples. It's a heavy coop "put out the fires" kind of game, where you are island spirits working with the native inhabitants to drive off colonists. Great list - we’ve played around half of the ones you recommend. To add to the list though: Jaipur is outstanding Memoir 44 is bigger but utterly amazing if you enjoy strategy or WWII
Five Tribes is a great game that can accommodate four players, but it's possibly better with two. Bidding for two actions per round really increases the strategy and allows greater use of the different tribes and djinns.
haha wow that's deep! But I honestly love it too. It's usually my go to game when we want to play something familiar. Ever played it with Italian Renaissance? Whole new level.
My favorite game is Hanabi. It’s an older game but it’s really awesome! It’s a card game but you play without knowing what your cards are. Super fun. Great for 2 to 5 players
I played Hanabi once with a few friends last year - definitely want to play this one again. We recently got The Crew, I'm really liking these types of hidden information games!
Forbidden desert is really fun! Its a cooperative game where the players attempt to survive a dangerous desert and find buried flying machine pieces and escape!
My wife and I do a weekly stream of Gloomhaven and it's GREAT. Absolutely would recommend to couples who are both into euro-style games or dungeon crawlers!
9Nails - great question!! I’m so glad you asked too, we are planning in the future to have a video on all board game terms! A euro game is a board game that typically has less combat and direct player interaction and is more abstract, sort of like your games where you build routes and go up tracks and progress more abstractly in goals. It’s a broad term, but basically most games with cubes or discs to track things would probably fit 😄 A great intro example is Ticket to Ride, another classic is Hansa Teutonica.
@@TerreDiceGames Thanks to the quick reply! Looking forward to that video of yours. I learned fast that there was a whole lot more to board games than I first thought!
Splendor and Duel are our go to's then we played actualy 7 wonders and I got the rules confused since they are similar but different. You 2 are so fun to watch!
Hey there! Yeah Jonathan said the same thing about 7 wonders! I haven't had a chance to play it yet, someday I will and than I can be confused too lol! Thank you so much watching!
Nice list! Here are some more options that i find interesting: Santorini, Stratego, Bandido and Jaipur. They are quite different from each other and i'm sure you'll like at least one of these! :)
After 6 months of narrowing down your votes and ours, we have released Top 10 Board Games for Couples PART TWO! We hope you enjoy! ua-cam.com/video/1lK4yOmhCPI/v-deo.html
Great list! I would also suggest Wingspan; Jaipur; Point Salad. And for Splendor, you should definitely get the expansion "Cities of Splendor" it's just great! Also Azul Summer Pavilion. Cheers from Dublin Ireland
thanks for your suggestions! We actually have been wanting to do a video on Wingspan soon, we recently started playing it and love it! Splendor is one of my favorites so I will definitely have to check out the expansion. Thank you for watching!
Awesome. I’m new to the board game hobby and started with 60 second city and pandemic. It’s just me and my wife playing. I think I’ll try splendor next, although I think cooperative games may be better for my situation
Hey, thanks for watching! Splendor is a great pick, lots of great cooperative games out there though, too! Have you tried Horrified? This is an excellent cooperative game in a similar difficulty to Pandemic as well!
@@TerreDiceGames I haven’t tried horrified but I’ll definitely check it out, thanks! Target is having a buy 2 get one sale on board games right now so hopefully they have it
This is a great list of games from different genres! Thanks Our favourites are: Schotten Totten Castles of Burgundy That's pretty clever Grand Austria hotel Hanamikoji Klask Mandala Sagrada San Juan Trambahn Welcome to... Kingdom builder Samurai Quest to El dorado Menara Lost cities Wingspan
Great videos guys! I really liked your selection and I'll look into buying some. I'm more into gaming so I often look for simpler ones as a gateway to play with my wife or our families.
Thanks for watching! Glad you found some you like! If you are trying to bring more family to the table I would also suggest Quacks of Quedlinburg, we played it with our family and it was a huge it! Thanks for watching
I am surprised that you didn' show Mr. Jack, this is great detectivistic game for only 2 players :) If someone like carcassonne, Isle of Skye is absolutely must have, I reccomend it with Druids expansion as well. Another cool game that is deckbuilder is Star realms/Hero realms.
Definitely agree with Hero Realms. It's a great game competitively or with the addition of the cooperative version. Not a fan of Mr. Jack or Isle of Sky. Love Carcassonne, but my husband doesn't care much for tile-placement games.
my gf and I just got Morels and its a pretty simple and fun game to play together. and we'll probably be getting a few of the games you mentioned that we dont already have :)
Splendor duel is a lot of fun! I think we’d still prefer Splendor due to its versatility at being able to play other player counts, but the new mechanics are fun :)
Awesome review!! I was considering to purchase bloomhaven and you guys helped me a lot! Can you guys review kingdom rush board game as well? I heard that it's pretty fun!
Just a small correction. Gloomhaven has no replayability. You need like 100+ hours to complete it, and thats more then enough to have a good return on investment, but you most likely won't going to play it for a second time. But great suggestions, most of those are my picks too. Also i would add Catan and Azul.
Totally get this. I wouldn’t want to replay - as you say 100+ hours is more than enough! By then, Frosthaven should be out :) The ability to reuse classes and create randomized dungeons supports replayability though if you wanted :) thank you for watching!
@@TerreDiceGames I was in a gloomhaven campaign at work (before the pandemic), and 2 of the people in it had played significant amounts before starting over with us. One of them was on his third play-through. It isn't for the faint of heart, but it can definitely be replayed. I found it interesting / disturbing that our experts didn't always agree about the rules, like how the monsters decide how to move when their target isn't obvious.
You guys are super cute and was a really informative video of the games. Splendor is the only one I have from your list so far. Brilliant game. Well done on a great video :)
Your nice comment goes a long way, thank you so much! Splendor is one of my top favorites too! It's one I will always ask to play. Thanks for watching! - Mackenzie
Hey Mackenzie here! Thanks for watching! I love anything has to do with Sherlock Holmes so I will definitely have to check this one out! Thanks for the suggestion!
@@TerreDiceGames THere is almost no theme to it, and i'd describe it as 2 player solitaire where you play against each other. So, if you are looking for theme its not the game you want. Also, it not cooperative so if you want to play with your spouse as oposed to play against them it may also not be your cup of tea. But even though its not cooperative its not overly mean. You can screw with the person you're playing against but it never feels like hte game is mean about it. Some games tend to cause arguments between spouses. this is not one. Plus you can play it in like fifteen minutes.
I can also reccomend Race for the Galaxy, it's a Card game where you try to build your empire faster than your opponent(s) there are also expansions for it if you want more Worlds and technologies but also add more game mechanics
Wow I had never heard of this game before! looks cool. I really like that art style and that they pulled pictures from the actually event. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
Thank you for the suggestions, these are lovely! We recently got Patchwork and Viticulture just came in the mail. Haven’t had a chance to play it yet, can’t wait! We’ll check out Targi as well! Thanks for watching 🙌
My husband and I love the Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle and Pandemic games because we love co-op style. I will have to check out some others on this list!
Mackenzie here - Thanks for your suggestions! I need to play Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle, the fact that I am such a big Potterhead and haven't is sad lol. Thank you for watching! Happy Playing!
Yeah I agree! When their's more people playing, we get more "surprise". But I found love letter to be the "go to" fast game you can play anytime with anyone. When you only have 15 min or less and somewhere you not really good for playing game, you can still play!
It is more like 10 cases that are all separate (at least the thames murder one is). You have a map of london and pick where you want to go and read a passage from the book based on where you go. It is a super neat game and one of my favorites
Not bad list. Definetly better games that people in chat suggesting. Dont tire of so easily as lot of games. One can easily see what games are more for her and what for him :D Gloomheaven expansion must be a relief for the girl :D
Thanks for your comment! These are good thoughts!! 😀 Definitely check out Part 2, released 6 months later - featuring many games from the comments!! ua-cam.com/video/1lK4yOmhCPI/v-deo.html

Thanks so much! We really appreciate it. We’ve been wanting to play Forbidden Desert!!! How are you liking it? We’ll have lots of fun ones to come - we’ve been playing Lost Cities, Calico, Scythe, Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle and Arkham Horror LCG lately :) stay tuned for more! We may be posting a part 2 in the future :)
@@TerreDiceGames loving it. Quite challenging to win but that's part of the fun to figure out the best strategy. Looking forward to your upcoming vids!
Thanks for this! First time seeing your channel. You two are really cute together. The games here are quite an eclectic mix. I had heard good things about Hive & the Tiny Epic line - I've bumped the versions you recommend up in my 'want to play' queue on your say-so. A few other comments: - My wife and I enjoy 7WDuel. Despite those Brits having a point in saying: "It's like toast from a really good restaurant. It's well-made. It's tasty. It's *fine*. But it's still toast." - Carcassonne is a game even non-gamers will enjoy. A plus you did not emphasize is, it's quite pretty. - Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, OTOH, is not for everyone. Me and my previous playgroup found it, um, wasn't our cup of tea. Too much like guessing what the designers' were thinking rather than solving a puzzle. We ended games feeling tense and frustrated. - Villainous. I haven't played it, but from what I've read I suspect that, like Hogwarts Battle & Firefly:The Game, Villainous is a less-than-stellar game that is much more enjoyable if you are a huge fan of the material. Reference: www.meeplelikeus.co.uk/villainous-2018/ You asked for suggestions: we've enjoyed Jaipur, Patchwork, and Lost Cities (the original one). Also, many co-ops (the Pandemic line, the Forbidden line) play well with two.
Great question! Having been in quarantine, we've only played this with two - but I like it because it's very strategic (lots of chaining is possible) but also the player interaction is toned down a little so its a very chill game. I don't have to be mean/compete to get what I want. The game is so cute too that it just makes you happy. Our games have gotten longer as we've gotten better so I can't imagine this at 4! Love this game :)
Yeah, this’ll be the game for you then! There’s only one gotcha card in the deck that I’m aware of (the fool goes in another player’s village to take up one of your 15 tableau spots and -1 point) and you can take a worker spot they want to go to, but there’s almost always a slightly worse “any number of workers can go here” space that gives you almost as much. Definitely will work for you I think!
Our two most played games are probably Gloomhaven and Arkham Horror card game. Tainted Grail is up there too. Guess those are all pretty big commitments, but we do like going through campaigns.
Gloomhaven has been a great constant for us year, it's always something to come back to and an adventure we can have together. We have also been wanting to start Arkham Horror as well. Thanks for watching!
@@TerreDiceGames The downside of all this is that most games take a while to setup. Something like Codenames: Duet or TE Galaxies (both of which we own) would be more convenient, but never seem to come out on a slow night. Your variety is serving you well.
Thanks for watching - Fog of Love is a recommendation we've been getting a lot, haven't had a chance to play it yet! We'll check out Love Letter for a higher player count video - this was focused towards games we play regularly that feel work great with 2 players - thanks!
Love Letter is one of my favorites, but definitely believe it's better with more than two players. Also, Fog of Love...not a fan of the idea. My husband and I looked at it, saw some play-thrus, and were not impressed at all.

Thanks so much, Lightning Monkey! Your support means a lot! New videos every other Friday, next week’s should be one you won’t want to miss!! :)
@@TerreDiceGames I look forward to it! Cheers guys
You two are a lot of fun to watch. Thanks for the list!
Yay! Thank you for watching - glad you enjoyed it!
My wife and I do a weekly stream of Gloomhaven and it's GREAT. Absolutely would recommend to couples who are both into euro-style games or dungeon crawlers!
Thank you for the +1 RBG!
This is probably a dumb question, but for someone who's new to board games, what exactly are euro-style games?
9Nails - great question!! I’m so glad you asked too, we are planning in the future to have a video on all board game terms! A euro game is a board game that typically has less combat and direct player interaction and is more abstract, sort of like your games where you build routes and go up tracks and progress more abstractly in goals. It’s a broad term, but basically most games with cubes or discs to track things would probably fit 😄
A great intro example is Ticket to Ride, another classic is Hansa Teutonica.
@@TerreDiceGames Thanks to the quick reply! Looking forward to that video of yours. I learned fast that there was a whole lot more to board games than I first thought!
There’s so much to board games! We were amazed when we joined the world too. I hope you find lots of joy in gaming! ☺️
I agree with your compilation and majority of your games we played it too. I also often win when we play 7 wonders duel. Great video guyss
Glad to hear you enjoy this games!! Thanks for watching ☺️
Thanks for the recommendations! We recently picked up Jaipur and love it too!
@@TerreDiceGames glad to hear that you liked it! :)
We borrowed a game called Targi that's designed for just two players. It's really a card game, but I loved it. Very replayable
Yes! Targi is great!
Checked your video through Reddit, very surprised to see that this is your first UA-cam video! Hope I can see more in the future 😊
Thank you so much, this is our debut video! We can’t wait to make more! Thanks for watching!
I recommend Jaipur. Excellent 2-player/couples game. Dominion, Pandemic, Azul and Hardback are great 2-player games as well.
Thanks for the recommendations! We love Jaipur as well!
They were definitely bored during lockdown. Look how excited they are to make this video. 🤣🤣
Can never be bored with a board!! 🤩
Target is having a buy 2 get one sale on board games right now so hopefully they have it
Great video! Liked and subscribed! Can't wait for more.
Woohoo! Thanks so much for watching! We put out new videos every other Friday :)
You should try Santorini. It's awesome, easy to understand and play as well as with a beautiful design.
Thanks, Leti! We just recently got a chance to play Santorini. That's a fun one!
From Reddit. You got our sub. You guys deserve more subs. Best of luck
Thank you so much! We’re just getting started but excited to share our passion with you all!
I loved the zoom in at 5:58!
So glad you caught that! 😄 we got Patchwork after we filmed this, it’s a great choice as well! If we do a part 2 we’ll likely mention it :)
@@TerreDiceGames Thank you:) I subscribed. Loved seeing you in all your humanity! Thank you.
Very nice video with some great ideas! Thanks cute couple!
Thank you for watching!!! We appreciate it ☺️
This is a great list of games from different genres! Thanks
Our favourites are:
Schotten Totten
Castles of Burgundy
That's pretty clever
Grand Austria hotel
Hanamikoji
Klask
Mandala
Sagrada
San Juan
Trambahn
Welcome to...
Kingdom builder
Samurai
Quest to El dorado
Menara
Lost cities
Wingspan
Wow, some great games here and some ones we’ve never heard of! Will check them out, thanks for the recommendations!
My wife and I love splendor and splendor expansion. And 7 wonders dual. Highly recommended
Just got Hive for Christmas, love it so far! Great video, hadn't heard of most of these
Hive is great! It's one of the first games we got when we started getting into board games. Hope you like it! Thanks for watching!
Got the like just for the rodney Smith joke 🤣 great video. I'll keep my eye on this channel.
Haha awesome, we had a lot of fun making it! Thanks for watching!
I like Fox and the Forest and Patchwork as 2 player games, too! This is a great list and I’ll have to try some of them out! Love Splendor and Duel!
Thanks for the suggestions, and glad you enjoyed! We just recently got Patchwork, we're loving it!
Thanks for the suggestions! I hadn't heard of these games, we'll definitely check them out!
I've heard of Morels! Will have to check it out. Awesome!
You guys seem so wholesome.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed our video :)
Splendor is one of my faves too! Have you tried Splendor Duel? The mechanics change a bit, but its a great two-player game!
Splendor duel is a lot of fun! I think we’d still prefer Splendor due to its versatility at being able to play other player counts, but the new mechanics are fun :)
You guys are great! Really enjoyed your video.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed ☺️
I highly recommend CLAIM for couples as well. Very fun 2 player game
Thank you for the suggestion :) checking this one out!
Awesome review!! I was considering to purchase bloomhaven and you guys helped me a lot!
Can you guys review kingdom rush board game as well? I heard that it's pretty fun!
Thank you Luke! We don't have Kingdom Rush but if we get it we'll be sure to share our thoughts!
Our favourite 2p games to play are: Mondo, Castles of Burgundy, Patchwork, Chronicles of Crime, and Exit.
Nice choices! :) We've been looking into about half of these, we picked up Patchwork recently!
Thanks for this list, quite relevant in 2020 :)
We thought so! Good 2 player Games have been a life saver for us and our mental health! Thanks for watching!
Tranquility also great. Love the video!
Thanks for the suggestion, and glad you enjoyed the video!
- Mackenzie
Thanks for the recommendations and love your energies. Would love a little improvement in audio quality / microphone
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed our list! We have been working toward improvements every day, hopefully it is getting better and better ☺️
Nice video ! Thanks ! Mr Jack is also an excellent 2-player game, my wife and I love it :)
And the game "War Chest" seems very nice as well :)
Hey Mackenzie here! Thanks for watching! I love anything has to do with Sherlock Holmes so I will definitely have to check this one out! Thanks for the suggestion!
Mr jack is amazing!
Great video, extra helpful during lockdown haha
Glad it helped! 2020 is probably seeing a lot more 2-player games. Thanks for watching :)
@@TerreDiceGames haha I feel sorry for my poor flatmate the amount of games I've made him play
As much as I loved the list, I was really surprised when I didn't see "Fog of Love" there, since it's literally a two-player game for couples 😂😂
Putting a label on a game doesn't give it a spot on our top 10 ;)
@@TerreDiceGames That's true tho 😉
Great game review but I love your personalized American Gothic painting.
Thank you! It was one of the best wedding presents we ever got! It's from an artist that advertises "I will paint your face onto any famous painting!"
What an amazing channel! Never break up!
Thanks so much, Simon!! Means a lot to us ☺️
Lost Cities, while a bit dry, seems to be the go to couples game for most of my friends who are couples. Or at least it used to be.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check it out and see if we want to pick it up :)
Thanks for the suggestion! Jonathan has been talking about this game a lot - might have to look into it!
Great video, thanks.
We love to play Watergate.... super fun!
Wow I had never heard of this game before! looks cool. I really like that art style and that they pulled pictures from the actually event. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for watching!
Hello, fellow NYC board gamers! You two are fantastic to watch! Such great voices. Hope to see more videos in the future!
Thank you so much, this means a lot to us! More videos to come, every 2 weeks!
I love Viticulture, Targi & Patchwork for 2 players
Now I need a wife interested in these games which I own almost all of them
Nice collection! What games did we miss that you think we should check out?
Imagine trying to get your wife to play marvel legendary
I can’t get enough of you two!
Ahhh thank you so much! So glad you are enjoying the videos!
loved it, thanks
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Nice work - keep those videos coming!
Thank you so much for watching! We put out videos every two weeks on Fridays!
Add Azul and Paris La Cite Lumiere. Great for couples. Thanks for the list.
We played Azul the other night and loved it! Would love to try the expansions! Thanks for watching!
Love letter is a great game for a couple! Fast, fun, strategy and luck
We love Love Letter! I think I enjoyed it more with higher player counts, but definitely a fun fast game!
Yeah I agree! When their's more people playing, we get more "surprise".
But I found love letter to be the "go to" fast game you can play anytime with anyone. When you only have 15 min or less and somewhere you not really good for playing game, you can still play!
How does the Sherlock Holmes games work? Beings there are only 10 crimes.
I bought Villanous because of this video! Just waiting for it to arrive
Hey Ryan - that’s awesome!! We hope you enjoy. Let us know who your favorite villain is! ☺️
Love your energy! That's a pretty awesome list. The game that we're currently playing is "Forbidden Desert". What other games are on your shelf? Your collection looks respectable 😁
Can you please do a video on how to play villainous. We’ve had it for moths but are lost at how to play it. There aren’t that many video on it
We can certainly add it to our list! Is there a certain question you have? Maybe I can help in the comments! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for this! First time seeing your channel. You two are really cute together.
The games here are quite an eclectic mix. I had heard good things about Hive & the Tiny Epic line - I've bumped the versions you recommend up in my 'want to play' queue on your say-so. A few other comments:
- My wife and I enjoy 7WDuel. Despite those Brits having a point in saying: "It's like toast from a really good restaurant. It's well-made. It's tasty. It's *fine*. But it's still toast."
- Carcassonne is a game even non-gamers will enjoy.
Reference: www.meeplelikeus.co.uk/villainous-2018/
You asked for suggestions: we've enjoyed Jaipur, Patchwork, and Lost Cities (the original one). Also, many co-ops (the Pandemic line, the Forbidden line) play well with two.
Everdell...how does it play with 2? You said fabulous, but what makes it stand out for you two playing together?
Great question! Having been in quarantine, we've only played this with two - but I like it because it's very strategic (lots of chaining is possible) but also the player interaction is toned down a little so its a very chill game. I don't have to be mean/compete to get what I want. The game is so cute too that it just makes you happy. Our games have gotten longer as we've gotten better so I can't imagine this at 4! Love this game :)
@@TerreDiceGames This is exactly what I'd hoped for. My wife does not like 'GOTCHA' mechanics, but she is good with VP win conditions.
@@TerreDiceGames Good to know. I suppose we could even take that one out, if it feels to 'targeting'.
Fog of Love should be added to this list.
As should Love Letter, though like many things it's more fun with three players...
