Time and the mice worked hard to get that car into the condition it was.
The time and skill you two guys used to undo that had the ghosts of time and mice shaking their collective heads.
Not to.mention us viewers shaking ours! Awsome!
I really like these little car, maybe because my wife and I own a 1963 version of that car. A very awesome cleanup on this car
You guys knocked this budget restoration out of the park. What a sweet car.
I've been watching, Will it Start, Restoration Channels for 4-5 years. VGG, Sleeperdude, Mortske Garage, and several others. I've only discovered your channel recently and I have to say I love your points of difference and the level of restorations you and your Dad tackle. My brother owned one of these Fairlanes many years ago so I particularly enjoyed this build.
I am currently in the process of restoring my 1964 Fairlane 500 and this video was extremely helpful. Thank you Sir!
an unprecedented example of vintage MG body work serving as a superior substitute for floor pans another car. i didn't think i'd live to see it!! :)
Is that a poor mans break? I like it.Fairlane is looking gr8
Bucket seats someday would be a great upgrade. Love that you are working with your Dad. 😊
The old Fairlane looks beautiful! Nice work guys. Y'all do some nice work without changing the history and character of the vehicle.
I admire your talent, skills, and ability, your teaching method. Thanks for the channel, best wishes, God bless you!
She's beautiful!
Wow!! What a beautiful job. It actually looks brand new. What a transformation. Can't compliment you enough on this job.
GREAT VIDEO GUYS!!! MY SON AND I LEARNED A LOT GREAT CAR!!! THANKS...PEACE!!!
Good save 👍🏻🫵🏻 there’s something very satisfying when you rescue an abandoned car like that. Gotta see beyond the filth. You’re doing a fine job.
What a stunning build. You’ve done that old girl proud!!!
They had those little 6x9s in wood boxes in the backseat floor. That is classic! Lol
Haha Yeap!! 😅
A 62 Fairlane was my first car. I bought it in 1969 for $200. I loved it!
For a low budget build it is really a nicely done car. Great job
I actually prefer these interior vids more then the will it start after x years. By now we know they will 😅
Thanx for this one! Hope there will be many more!
I think you did an excellent job better than most and I really like it when people bring old cars back to life
I'm glad that you showed how hard that really is I've noticed some people don't believe that it's that hard to do I really like the way you show how Restorations go
This car is gorgeous. A beautiful driver. Amazing work!
You guys are the real deal ,things don't always work and you keep at it.tougher than the old fords you work on those are my fave
Enjoy working with Dad in his retirement years.
Woo wooooo 30 year it looks like it never sat !!! Nice workmanship!!! Sounds good !!!
Very impressive
Thank you 😊
You guys are so lucky on the beautiful old cars you have over there....
we have nothing like that here in England
LoL Yep they're rotten if left outside for more than 5 years over here.
That is a Sunday driver now … simply wow
I had a 62 Fairlane with the 260 V8. First car when I was in high school. Loved it. Mine was a stick shift.
Your interior videos are the best on YT!
You guys rule!!...REAL rescues back to good driver condition!!
Thanks I'm really enjoying this project
Huge carpets and headliner on point 🎉
The amount of work every restoration requires is just insane, always glad to have this type of content with this quality so frequently. 👏
I was just about to message you and ask where our video was! So happy for you to entertain us good Sir!
😁😁 Sorry for the late post! I hope you enjoy!! 😊
You say you're not professional but you are so talented, Almighty God has blessed you with an awesome Dad by your side who has probably taught you as well. Keep up the awesome restorations my friend😊
Great job! Really nice work. Great to see the old girl back on the road.
A great job guys for what was spent to not be a "perfect" car! This IS a great looking daily driver to me, as my sister-in-law had one of these given to her back in the eighties! I always had a soft spot in my heart for these old Fairlanes!
Good job starting these projects, then actually finishing them.
Maybe not show perfect…
But it would be perfectly ok by me!!!
Congratulations guys
You should be proud!
That is a sweet little black beauty, love it!
It doesn't have to be perfect. It needs to be driven w/o worrying someone might scratch the paint. Great job! Do more like this! Loved this!
Great car, definitely a keeper.
Brilliant!!
Just sat down with a cup of tea to watch it. Rob, Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia
I do hope you enjoy! Thanks Rob!! 😊
Another Aussie here. NNSW
Great job guys! I am jealous of the large amount of interesting cars to be rescued. It is always more fun to have a classic car with a V8. Greetings from Poland.
Thanks so much!! We’re glad we can have the opportunity to rescue them! 😊
@@BudgetBuildz this is part 4 not 3 😂
💣💥👍👏👏👏👏
Yeah, this is 1 of your best transformations yet! From something that sets your teeth on edge just touching it, to a ride you can't wait to get into, you and your Dad have another winner.✌
You two guys work so well together
I was born the same year as this beauty and I wish I was in as good a shape as the floor pans are, very cool ride boys.👍
I would love to have that car. My parents had a red Fairlane about that year same body style when I was about 7 (now 65). Brings back some early fond memories of road trips.
What a SWEET CAR , You did a Hell'uva Job , I'm 78 and that was my First car , mine was dark blue and had a metal dash which I waxed with the rest of the car , Congratulations on a Fine JOB !!!!!
Very, very nice, Michael and dad! Once again you made me want a car I didn't know I wanted! Great work!!
just WOW guys, incredible work, she's a real beauty.
Outstanding!!!! I would've left the center panels of the seat covers the way they were out of the box perhaps?
Your attention to detail especially with the interior is outstanding. Great workmanship!
What a classic beauty you brought back on the road, Michael. Great work as always. Stay safe and healthy. Chess Ulf
Your dad is so cool. Seems more like an older brother!
I prefer your style of restoration, as it gets the car ready to drive, ready for what it was built for !! Great job guys !!
Just a tiny suggestion for putting the seat covers on. If your get a hair dryer and blow it on the part you are stretching, it gets tighter and really tightens up as it cools.
I watch a lot of other car rebuilds and bring back to life videos but I look forward to your new posts as I do not have to listen to a bunch of nonsense and copied acts. You guys just get it done and do it well and in way that inspires me to get out in the garage!! Thanks for that and please keep the great videos coming!!
Thanks so much!! 😊 We really appreciate that!
Great job guys! You brought back memories of when I was installing the windshield and rear glass on my 65 falcon
Had my 90 llb. Wife pushing the best she could on the outside while I pulled on a suction cup and string on the inside. Man it was a tough sweaty job but we got it!😅
Lovely Jonb. Them floors look great 👍. White vinegar and a ball of newspaper will remove nicotine tar from any glass
Thank you! 😊 Thanks for the tip!! We’ll give that a try 😃
It looks very good for what you guys are doing. It’s good enough to sell for a lot of money.
Omg the Fairline looks stunning boys!!
That car is gorgeous. I wish I was that lucky. Great job
Rev of Revstoration just got a "64 2 door Post with a/c. Did a first start. I'm seeing more of these Fairlanes coming out. They're going for big money.
Wow! It came out looking amazing! You would never think that beauty came out of a forgotten barn! Just beautiful work!👌🥰👍came out looking great guy’s!
Those seats turned out very good in the end.
When I did my 64’ Fairlane interior, I used the rubber roofing material for the floor and doors. It too works great. Love this guys!
I giggled a little when I saw the relief on your dad's face as that last few inches of rope came out of the windshield. I don't know if he was nervous about breaking it or glad he tough job was done. Lol
Amazing transformation! I wouldn't mind having that in my garage at all! That is one sharp Fairlane and you and your Dad did a great job on the interior and exterior! Would love to see it with a set of beauty rings on the wheels!
I have to say Michael, that the combination of you and your dad working on these projects is a joy to watch.I lost my dad when I was 19, he was only 53, and we never got to do much together, so cherish this time with your dad. You both do a terrific job attempting all the varied work on each vehicle, please keep this content going, and I for one will keep watching 👍🙂
The new interior looks great, and I'm sure it sounds better when driving down the road. I'm really enjoying watch you resurrect this Fairlane. And I hope you enjoy driving it too.
enjoyed these vids, great driver car and more important another old car saved
Oh that really turned around 😍 looks fantastic!! Great job you two
From what it was to what you've made of it on a budget... Bravo. I'm not a Ford guy but I like that one. Thanx 4 sharing!!! 😎👍
Just beautiful. You guys work really hard and the results are awesome. I like that you are "sticking to your roots" and keeping the budget in mind. After all, you need to make money so no need to spend more than necessary.
Always start seat cover from the center out. Love this car.
Awesome rescue!
Awesome awesome job love my Ford's great job
I wish i could do stuff like that. I love this type of "jobs".
It looks like an excellent job done now to go to a few vintage car shows just for the fun 😁
For spots like seat bolts a hot soldering iron will melt a perfect size hole straight through the carpet. And with it being melted that way, it can't unravel like a cut piece can. Looks sharp!
Great job guys, she’s turned out a beauty
Nice day for putting in a headliner!
That’s a beautiful car that y’all have given a second chance. Love the video, keep up the great work.
What a great job brother
That turned out great 👍
It's amazing how well this car held up, great job guys, that's one stylish going to town rig
Heck yeah brother, what a beauty, you guys did a great job bringing this old rig back to life. Love it👍🇺🇸🤘🔥🔥🔥
Extremely well done from start to finish, Like you said at the end you are not professional and have done everything on a budget, Anyone would be proud to own this car, These videos over several stages are wonderful to watch especially because I am disabled with epilepsy in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, Don’t stop making these videos on anything old with four wheels and a motor, Michael Lynskey’🇮🇪👏🇮🇪
Awesome!
Thank you!! 😃
Outstanding transformation! The new interior ties the whole thing together.
This is really cool, sets this channel apart. I don't like seeing just the will it run, I want to see these beauty's prettied up a bit.
Fantastic job! Keep the videos coming. You guys knock these out of the park.
You may say you aren't pros but that is a very nice job. Great car!
Fantastic job!
Wow!!!
What a great job you guys did.
Congratulations, that is why you're one of the best channels in you tube, keep it up..
Great job.
