Mudstream's design and character is so sweet and made me smile. The thought of an old lady refusing to sit down and yelling "You're not rid of me yet!!" is hilarious to me.

i love how bayclan handles elderly cats. unfortunately the warriors books consider any cat above the age of five is suddenly at risk of being blown away or breaking their aching bones every second. as somebody who has owned a cat that was twenty plus years old, she was active until the end.
A cat isn't old until it's atleast ten.
Same here! My cat was 22 and a shelter cat, and although I don’t remember much about her(I was young) that cat still had personality and life until the end. She had been an indoor-outdoor cat, had nine toes after one got bit off by a dog, got in two fights with other cats, but man she kept going.
My oldest cat, silver, who I got 6-7 years ago- would be VERY offended.
It's worth keeping in mind that these are essentially feral cats. Feral cats have very short lives. Forest cats as depicted in the books actually seem to live a lot longer than feral cats generally tend to. (That might be deliberate as the clan lifestyle is generally depicted as preferable, safer, and healthier than the loner and rogue lifestyle.)
That's not to say there aren't long-lived ferals... just dont underestimate how ridiculously varied the lifespan of a cat or any other animal is based on living conditions.
@@AyaKho i would agree, except the fact that warriors and these cats, while feral, have things like medicine and organized religion. they are meant to mimic the lives of humans and have been said to be humans by the authors. while feral cats usually don't live long, there is a possibility to live more than two to five years. the reason feral cats die off quick is from things like coyotes, cars, and other things that they have no control over. those things kill and injure members of the warriors community in the books, but other things like sickness and minor injuries that would sometimes lead to death are often never a cause because magic, kitty medicine. feral cats can live quite long, they are just more prone to infection and deadly interactions.

Imagine if an apprentice in bay clan had strong anxiety & just tried their hardest to act like the other cats, only for them to notice & try to calm the apprentice down & encourage them to not push themself to hard.

I just came back to this video, and all my God I love this clan to death. I genuinely want to be a cat in the clan (i’d probably be a random kitty pet that just decided “Frick it I’m going across the road with a rainbow tail because my two legs are weird” And runs across the thunder path with a tale that has been permanently dyed rainbow because of the two legs. Don’t ask why the rainbow tail I don’t even know why I decided that either it’s a random

I love how distinct every cat's silhouette is, and their shapes really help to characterise them too. Obligatory comment for the algorithm to pick up this video!
I love bayclan now, their body structures are super distinct, I'm really excited for the apprentices to get their warrior names (can you imagine Mustardpetal) your art is so calming idk why, but it's so stress relieving watching you draw.

Dear lord I love all of these cats. The whole clan is just so intriguing, equally as interesting as Bushclan to me. Your art is wonderful, the way you describe all these characters is great, just. Perfect !!! 100/10
As an aspiring character designer, this is honestly super helpful! Your designs are all distinct and full of life, but all connected by subtle motifs. And the lore of the clan? Ughhhh, it's so good! Definitely one of the best of the clan gen challenges I've seen. Keep up the great work!
Your skilled drawings and way of storytelling gives so much life to these characters! My absolute favorite is Mudstream who definitely reminds me of the grandma from The Croods. I can see her strolling into camp yelling “Still Aliivee!”

i absolutely love the personalities of these cats!! the whole idea of them fighting anything and seeing death as just another part of life is something i've never really seen happen yet in warrior cats, and honestly it really inspires me! all the designs are so nice and pretty!! i can't wait to hear lore and a cohesive story about all the clans!! my fav has to be hornetpaw (i am BLOWN AWAY by the design, it's just SO GOOD!!!) and mudstream (i love a silly grandma that still loves to go out and fight)!! can't wait for the next video!
I like that bayclan does the celebration of life, instead of a wake, which is a nice change of pace

The idea of just someone say "Hey, She got out again" Which Rookstar just laughs and sends apprentices or warriors out to find her.
Only for Mudstream to waltz back into camp with an "I'm back B****es" and the patrol that was looking for her showing up much later covered in like mud or hay or something is amusing.

i thought i would be annoyed by Bayclan’s characteristics but they’re the most interesting and funny cats ever
While mudstream was being shown my sister leaned over and said “she looks like a menace”
I love all the cats in this clan, but Mudstream is definitely my favorite by far! She's spunky and reminds me of a lot of my favorite side characters from other shows (Eda from the Owl House to be specific). I think the warriors books could definitely benefit from the kind of thought you put into all these cats!
I honestly cannot describe how happy I am to see this video. When I first came across your bushclan video, I was not immediently interested as I have never heard of a clan generator, but am a huge warrior cats fan so I thought I might as well check it out. I honestly cannot describe how much I loved it, because after I finished the video I immediately restarted it and watched the whole thing through again. It just absolutely amazes me how you can be so creative and come up with these unique stories the Offical warrior authors could only dream of, and combined with your calm, soothing voice I was immediately attached. Since then I have watched it over a dozen times, and have never gotten a bit disinterested. I have also showed it to my mom and watched the whole thing with her, and was very happy when she enjoyed it to. I know I will anxiously be waiting on my toes for the next part in the series and be rewatching this video many, many times!!
This clan is so refreshing! I love how encouraging they are to each other and how they won't just stuff a cat in position of a med cat because they have a disability! *Cough* Erin hunter *cough*

Honestly I think this is one of my favorite clans I have ever seen! I adore characters that are just completely fun-loving and reckless and a whole group of characters like that? And I am simply in love! I think I particularly adore Rookstar, Nightpelt, Swanstone, and Mudstream they’re just so fun to me! Especially Mudstream I just absolutely adore chaotic good older characters!
All in all I am in love with BayClan and they’ll all be floating in my mind for a bit
I'm just now seeing all your clan cat videos and can I just say I adore BayClan specifically??? The concept of them living in close proximity to farms and ranches, giving the clan cats ample opportunity to recruit new members is exactly what I wanted for my own main clan! It's so fun and gives such good ways to tell stories if you include more perspectives.

bayclan is DEFINITELY my favorite clan so far, i love their enthusiasm and how charismatic they are, especially their running inside joke and how every clan finds them stupid, so much so that they invite them to sacrifice themselves in battle

Honestly, I fell in love with your clan generator series since the first one with BushClan and I have been subscribed ever since. This most recent addition is just as interesting and inspiring with the first as each character is just so interesting and unique! Plus, I love how the elders are so much more then the simple "I'm old, I'm tired, my bones hurt" like how the actual warrior books seem to default elders to. So seeing this is such a breath of fresh air!
I wait with patiencent excitement for the next installment! ^^

I agree with your character design idea, having hair covering both eyes is SO CUTE!!! I have to admit, I've never read any Warriors books and barely know anything about the series, but that didn't make this video any less entertaining! Your art is so good and I love how you designed every cat in the clan!
Omg I LOVE this clan! The way they look at risk as a way to learn and death as a time to celebrate the cat's life (which makes sense in the warriors world because they all know for certain that the afterlife exists and that they'll see their loved ones again) is fascinating and all the cats have lovely and unique designs and personalities. I'm very excited to see the other clans and would love to get an update on this clan in the future as well!

I like to think that CATS think it looks cool. You know how Mallownose is planning out scars? That's totally a thing in this clan. They'll purposefully let a bad wound scar if they think it'll look cool.
Also yeah boars are SUPER rare, I don't even get to get roasted by those 'what your fursona says about you' videos. ;'C

PB I love your sweet little idiots so much :D I've always enjoyed the way you draw and design characters, and here it really shows in how the way these cats look shows their individual personalities. I especially like the older ones here! Who doesn't love a scrungly old weirdo? I also like how with Hornetpaw and Mustardpaw their appearances don't necessarily follow stereotypes for their genders? Like with Hornetpaw's pretty eye and kind of stylish-looking fur around his head/neck, vs Mustardpaw's kind of doofier look. (I absolutely mean 'doofier' in a loving way; she looks like a sweetheart.) I'm so glad Mustardpaw and Nightpelt are just out there eating weird leaves, too.
I can just imagine all of Bayclan cheering on random barn cats as they sprint across the thunderpath and celebrating like drunk frat boys
I love how every other clan when someone dies is like crying and mourning, while BayClan is just: 🥳🎉🥳🎉🎈🎊🎉🥳🎊🎈
