We downloaded a Premiere Template for callout texts, and they look great. My only question- what's the best way to to reuse the same callout effect (or any template for that matter) throughout a project without effecting the text throughout the whole thing? Since these templates rely heavily on nesting, it gets tricky, and I'd love if you guys had a quick suggestion for this. Thanks!

Just downloaded Motion array and trying to figure out motion titles. I feel like I am super close but I am having trouble with the sizing of the fonts. It seems like if what I want to type in is longer than what the template has (for example, the templates says "for" and I want to put in the word "business", then it cuts the text off on either side. Can you shed some light on why this is happening to me?

i'd face this problem when i duplicate the layer and i want to make a change in that duplicate layer, it affect the original layer :/

signed up for the paid plan and unfortunately unable to use the templates, or a lot of the templates that I do end up downloading and using are missing assets. Plus, things work differently now in 2024. I wish I could make this work but luckily you guys don't do contracts and I can cancel.
When I try to copy and paste into another project, it doesn't paste with the content I used. It just reverts back to the original template. Any help? Been at this for about an hour and it's frustrating af!

MATE. Seems like a lot of people are having the same issue and it’s driving me nuts, why are you ignoring the question? How do you re-use lower thirds, for example, in the same project? Because it’s all linked, if you change something in one of the duplicates it changes the original too. Please reply.
Hi HAZ, sorry for the frustration. Regarding your question there is a workaround. If you want to re-use a lower third and you're experiencing the problems you're describing, instead you can create a new bin in your project panel and drag and drop the template project file from your computer into that new bin (even if it's the same project file you're currently working in). Select the "import entire project" option and you can use this second version of the template and it will be unique from the first one you created. Sadly I realize this is a less than optimal solution, as it sounds like you may be using an older template. We are actually in the process of making an updated version of this video as this one is approaching 3 years old, and this new video will be addressing the exact situation you've described. @@MotionArrayTutorials So if you have, say 10 lower thirds in your edit where you want to re-use the same style, you'd have to do this ten times? Have ten bins in your project? This is super clunky. Most edits people need to have more than one lower third.

Can you extend the duration of the template
I’m a paid subscriber and find the sound fx samples do not come with the downloads... we have a choice for the music file but it’s easy enough to add any type of music but the sound fx are too difficult to add and place in time... just as there are slots in place to replace our images etc, so too should the fx samples remain in place for us to add our own...
What if I want to use the same effect on different pictures?

I just downloaded scribble icon template. But every time I placed one in my project it just turned black and white instead of a specific colour. Do you have any idea why ? Thanks.

When I open my text file, it only has font change, font size change and a few other options to redesign text. There is no color change option. Why? Is there something else I need to enable?
Hi. I would like to use one of the free templates for commercial work. I have signed up for a free subscription. Does this mean I can use the opening created using the template for a video series as long as I remain subscribed? Or am I limited on how many times I can use the same template?
Hi Jion, sorry for the late reply. You can use free templates for commercial work as much as you'd like 😄 our terms do state that you need to remain subscribed, but there's very little reason to cancel a free account, and no credit card details needed. So enjoy!

This is very helpful. But I wanted to practice with the very template that you used in your example, but I cannot find it on the Motion Array website. The links didnt take to that particular template. Still, I have never used templates so this seems like THE PATH to video creativity greatness.

What you guys never understand is MOST people looking for directions hate to sit through a welcome speech as we have work to do and zero time to waste. Maybe make two versions, one for the welcome first and one that gets right to the point. I'm not in a hurry this time, but I have been in the past and it is so frustrating.

In the template preview is music, but not when i download it. but some of the templates are matching the music.

Hi Vin T! The answer might differ based on the template you're using. One option is to take the final composition in it's fully nested form and just cut out the sections you don't want with the blade tool. The other option is to dive into the template and change the order of the scenes manually which might be more intensive. My personal favorite is the first method. Hope that helps! Hi, It does not work with the template "Big Stretch Intro". There are no placeholders for the pictures. Any Idea? Best wishes, Stevie+
i downloaded the freeze frame with titles but how do I swap "Shot 01" with my footage?
Hi EJ! You can simply go to your project panel and you should see a folder called something like "footage" or "media" and you can look for Shot 1. Double click on that and it's on this timeline where you can place down your footage either overtop, or in the place of the placeholder that says "shot 01"

Why is Motion Array so complicated for anything other than music? If I download a template, transition, or graphic, all I want to do is drag and drop then be on my way. But instead, I have to edit a simple wipe transition?

Hi Shan, can you confirm what you mean by "part of the template"? One way we might suggest you can just take the nested final render and cut it down to the piece you need.

Hi Ross, sorry for any trouble you might be experiencing. To be able to download any free elements you'll need to sign up for a free account, but it should not ask you for any payment details or payment information. If on the Motion Array website you go to the top right corner where it says "Join Free" you can click it and then it will take you to the sign up page. Once there you can look to the left and you should see the Free account option.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you're having any more difficulty.
I think this tutorial is out of date, seems the edit text is legacy, double clicking the text only brings up the source browser in PP2023

Sometimes these templates can get more complicated but sadly it's required to get some more complex cool effects

This tutorial is about useless. So confusing. No specific instructions on a Template which are all different.,
If I buy your package for 1 year or a month can I download the templates and use it for promotion and advertising purpose through instagram, Facebook and TikTok
none of those folders exist. not even close. no setup of the text exists, just one transition and that's it. It;s only certain templates that actually have this setup right? So, which ones?
