I ordered A36 flat for a test and received hardened flat bar. Failed the test twice before I looked at the certs for the Flat bar. Make sure you know what your working with. Bend test shows everything!
Great stuff. In my day there was no internet, you would need to get on an apprenticeship and that was hard. You've created great opportunities for people by producing these master lessons. Respect!

Having you cap cocked sideways and made of whatever flamboyant colors you want is whatever man, express yourself, but not having your shirt tucked in makes you look sloppy. Also put a handle on that damn grinder, don't hold it by the guard like that. Jesus.
Bandsaw saves time. Anything requiring heat treat should not be flame or plasma cut.
Grinding could remove HAZ from flame cut but not assured.

I passed a seismic test for California. Just take your time. Don’t grind in the direction the Bend.
I have always wanted to know how those are done? Same as an AWS D1.1 test?
@@4AM_DJ Pretty much. With the exception. All Welds are x-rayed, bend tested. It’s not an easy test to pass. They look at everything in detail.
Howd that work for job wise im structual up in norcal and its been kinda hard to find stick work
