That is honestly the greatest collection of movie props and memorabilia I have ever seen! Especially the Indiana Jones stuff. It's the fact that this guy has not only Indy's original costume, but he also has a secondary character from Indy which is his dad's suit from the third movie Last crusade! I would do anything to see this guy's collection! I really do hope one day that this guy does put all this stuff in a museum where it would be properly appreciated and for everyone to see, especially for all of us movie lovers!
My God, what an incredible man. Here he is doing the things that I wish I could do that I know I will never ever be able to do in my life. He has found the beautiful items that touch his soul and he has collected them for his own enjoyment. He has been willing to pay the price and probably do without just so that he could have access to the things that matter to him. I am so thankful that he made this video. It shows what an incredible person he is but also how very precious his collection is. In fact, it's more than a collection it is part of him and it is displayed for all to see. I wish I could be one of the lucky few to come and look at his collection because it's also incredible I'm emotional right now just looking at it
Sad to see the Golden Idol so worn over time. My replica fell off it's shelf years ago and has pretty much the exact same crack damage to the skull. Weird
I bought a couple minor pieces, and it was surreal holding Jessie`s club in my hand while watching Wrong Turn. I`m afraid I would damage all of those pieces wearing and using each one while watching those movies over and over again.
The "gold" idol statue from Indiana Jones has a different shape than the movie version...maybe its just the camera angle, but it looks a bit different, no?
When you see the apocalyptic fire now in LA just imagine how many items are lost now, i mean think about when Spielbergs house burns down and all his movie stuff burns away, or Schwarzeneggers home, or the items in movie Museums...in germany stupid people mocks about "hey, they are rich, they can build easily a new home", but can Spielberg buy another Oscar for ET? Cher new Golden Records? Schwarzenegger his Trophy for the first world champion title in 1967? Not all can build new with money, and like ordinary people lose their home and rememberances like pictures and private items big stars lose it too. And when the original Indiana Jones items burns down its a loss.
Nice collection, but he seems to care only about classic franchises and pop culture movies, nothing pre-1980. Also, strange he doesn’t have anything from Star Wars?
I allways wonder where all items are gone after the movie is finished, hundreds of swords from LotR, all Blades from the Conan Movies, all Hats and Jackets of Indiana Jones...thanks that some of them are offered in Auctions. But one prob is the question if the item is an original and relly used in a scene. I think in these scene are many fake items. A great example is the Captain America Harley from Peter Fonda. There are many bikes identical but the original was done in pieces after filming and was selled. No original exists. Great items like a movie used Indy Hat is really expensive but other items are a bad joke. Why they want 800 $ for a picture in frame from a background scene in a living room from a Will Smith movie? Like in Bad Boys in Mike Lowrys Appartment? And yes, thats right. I would fall on my butt when i see the original Indiana Jones Suit used in the Cave Scene bec i have BIG emotions and rememberances to the time i saw this in cinema...
@@jamesdeziel1468 His Daddy, Jack Lanigan Sr. was a pioneer in manufacturing cranes, and he went on to expand his businesses into a south suburban industrial conglomerate, incorporating everything from railroads to technology to heavy equipment distribution. One of his companies was named Mi-Jack. In the early 1980s, Lanigan expanded to manufacturing cranes. By the mid-1980s, with Mi-Jack cranes operating in railroad yards around the country, Lanigan broadened his company’s offerings to operating intermodal rail yards as a contractor for freight railroads. To run the intermodal yards, Lanigan formed a company called ITS Technologies & Logistics, which he later sold. Eventually, Lanigan’s Lanco Group grew to encompass nearly two dozen companies, and expanded to include a sports and entertainment division as well. Jack passed away in 2019 at age 91. he worked his butt off and deserved all of his success. Dan has his Dad to thank for being loaded. Nothing wrong with being a silver spoon baby, but that's what he is. His Dad did all the hard work, not Danny. His Dad sounds like a great man :) .
Forgot to add. Dans' brother, Mike, who also seems to be a hard worker, owns a racing team with David Letterman: Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing is co-owned by three-time INDYCAR champion and 1986 Indianapolis 500 winner Bobby Rahal, former Late Show host David Letterman, and Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan and is based in Zionsville, IN.

@@AllAboutAri_0 sorry guys, it was called Prop Culture!
Unfortunately I believe it has since been taken down due to cost cutting measures/tax reasons.

Thank you for making this and sharing your experiances.
I love the Neo costume! So awesome you were able to get a hold of such an interesting piece!
Absolutely iconic collection.
I love it , all the movies he had in collection..are my favorite!!
The Shawshank prop is Cool!
Wow fantastic ❤
Wow, what a collection!!
This is incredibly impressive 😍
I wish I had a scan of the Raiders fertility idol
My favourite thing about seeing the real props and costumes, barring sun damage, is seeing the actual colours before lighting and colour grading ❤
Dan is a legend and a top man. Glad you got to see everything...
incredible collection holy
Very impressive collection
Truly amazing what i see in this video
"That belongs in a museum!"
I agree. What good is it sitting in his vault? I mean he’s buying it and keeping it from public view.
The best stuff always has to be hidden until the right moment! Timing is important when dealing with a lot of money. Auction houses can be brutal.
*"I got into collecting because it's a way to get closer to the film." Seemingly obvious yet also beautifully put.* 🏆
I love the Terminal, Back to the Future music
Oh man, he has a ZF-1 and a Noisy Cricket. Dude, I could spend all day in there. Well done.
Sad to see the Golden Idol so worn over time. My replica fell off it's shelf years ago and has pretty much the exact same crack damage to the skull. Weird
How do you get this stuff!? This is incredible! What a great video
From propstore auction
Unlimited funds are important!

Wow, thanks for the insight. 😍👌🏼
I like the the parts where Jake sits there, with a pen in his mouth, smiles and nods as though he's not gonna make it out of there.

"Where does he get those wonderful toys?!?"
He would make so much money if he created a museum downtown Chicago. Wow!
"I got into collecting because..... I'm filthy rich and have money to burn," LOL some of those props he has cost more than the average house.
Right lol😂 because where did he get the capital to even afford allllllll of those props that cost tens of thousands 😂but really fkn cool
Omg he had the grey widers from the mist 2007 one of my favorite movies 5:10
1:51 ABC Warrior from Judge Dredd! ❤

How do you go inside a prop?
So that’s where the stolen Mr. fusion went?
The blade runner
How can he possibly afford this.....hobby?
I really don’t know why, it seems kind of sad.
This is just not long enough... everything should be talked about in details plz🙏
