Hobbiton really is amazing. I've been there pre-Hobbit films, when you could walk inside the Hobbit holes (which were filled with sheep poop), and post-Hobbit, which is stunning and magical.

**Quick Update: Welp, it turns out the Jurassic Park 2/3 set was demolished recently, for whatever reason my Google Earth wasn't displaying the most recent image, and I never saw anything about it in the news since the last time I researched it. Right now I am contacting many people on trying to gain access to the place. The actual site as show has been torn down but the giant warehouse used for filming the inside parts of the movie is still standing. I am hoping there is some stuff still in there to give to our local museum. But yeah, if you have any questions on the intricacies please ask away!

Really love your videos!! So I've got at least one great movie set for you to explore in part 3! In Port Townsend, WA is Fort Worden where the movie An Officer and a Gentleman was filmed. Many of the sets are still there, maintained by the fort, as well as the room at The Tides Inn that featured prominently in the film. The Inn still has the room, now designated as the Officer and a Gentleman suite. Totally surprising to me, though, is that they filmed the decompression chamber scene in the basement of one of the barracks! And the set was just left standing and is still there. I found that the door to the basement when I was there was unlocked, so I was able to go in and take pictures. I can send them to you along with the pictures I took of other sets used for filming if you'd like. Just let me know!

I used to work at USH in production. I visited the Jurassic Park set many times. The second to last time I visited it I walked around and admired the work that was put into the set as my contract was close to ending. I went back that same week and the whole building had collapsed in itself.
In 2019 they tore it all down and cleaned up the entire section. Now it's a picnic area for employees to go and enjoy their lunches. It's a small lake and the push button waterfall runs in the background.

Jurassic Park set was astounding, considering how it was portrayed in the film. I liked it Jurassic Park 3, where they being chased in and out the cage tunnel..... it creeped me out. I think for many people that critisized it didn't live up to its predecessor, maybe they didn't see it in cinema? Those gruesome moment was well captured

They still have the pirates of the Carribean set on the island and it’s not really abandoned, it’s well preserved and is a great tourist attraction

I'm surprised you didn't mention the abandoned set location of the house from the British TV show, "Tales From Fat Tulip's Garden". It was sadly abandoned after a fire burnt it down.

Wow, hard to believe the tots TV house actually had the fireplace and stairs inside. So they must have actually filmed inside. Very cool.

The Hey Dude sets are out near the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch. The pool in the show is actually the main pool. Kind of wild to realize that the show I liked so much as a kid was shot not far from where I lived!

Cecil B. DeMille left the set of his movie The Ten Commandments along the beaches of the Central Coast of California west of Santa Maria and to this day while driving on the beach one can see Egyptian statues over half covered by sand. A eerie reminder of past ancient Egypt.

Ha got worried and had to give a Gone With the Wind heads up. Nothing is safe anymore. We should just give up on the history of every civilization. They all have rocky past.
