As a senior several years younger than Biden, it's disheartening that so many are so reflexively and gutlessly jumping on the "old" bandwagon. The Dalai Lama is 89 as of July 6. Nobody's complaining about his age. On the contrary, they're grateful he's still alive. Same for a secular Beatle, Ringo. He's 84 as of today.
OLD is not the issue. Incompetency is the issue. Our President's MAIN job, the hardest in the world, is to articulate the values of Democracy to America and the world. He has failed miserably. We can now look clear eyed at the past few months and see ALL the times we ignored the signs that he is frail, probably has dementia, cannot support fully his own cause. The Democrats have been saying Trump is unqualified and should step down for years now.
The Republicans and their voters are the only ones that can kick Trump out and on every occasion they have stuck with him no matter what he has done.
Also Republicans are more of a monolith party with an authoritarian approach. They don’t like dissension and will kick people out of their party for even criticizing Trump. A very authoritarian approach.
Democrats are a little bit more healthy and can criticize their party leaders because they are a coalition party with many diverse view points and groups.

If Biden remains the nominee, then it's more likely than not that Trump will win the presidency, AND (because of a lackluster down ballot for dems) republicans will control both the House (D:211 to R:224) and Senate (DI: 48 to R:52). Every political person knows this and if they are up for a 'close' re-election this year, they will call for Biden to step aside -- it's a matter of survival now.

I have most often agreed with Michael Moore over many issues, but not this. President Biden has been a great president and must be re-elected, no matter the differences in policy, Trump would be a catastrophe. For Americans to stay at home is the same as voting for Trump. It is such a clear fact, vote blue for democracy and to stop Trump and his project 2025. I hope Michael will vote blue, even if he disagrees with President Biden.

Initially, I was incredibly mad about Biden's sound levels not being fixed--set to the correct level.
But watching again, I realized that Trump was audible on Biden's mic when his own mic was off, and it's possible that part of the reason they didn't raise Biden's mic level was to avoid broadcasting more of Trump’s lying interruptions.
I have heard that moderators were to the side which made the candidate on the right look offscreen, and Trump won the toss to chose position. CNN should not have set it up that way.
And they should have fact-checked real-time, because it doesn't work later, so that Biden didn't have to do that plus adjust all his answers to fit the remainder of the two-minute time limit.
