I had to check that playback speed was on normal!
This is a lesson on speed that, actually, on what can be learnt from it, could be shared in much less time!

I love your example piece here, as it takes such beautiful control to make it effective! Bravo on an interesting video and seeming so well appreciated! Big YAY! Glad you address injury with this if someone is repeating ad infinitum. I am thinking on this one and curious if the wrist follow through up through the fingertips might work in tandem with this and reduce tension. Thanks for a big ponder here for me. Love learning from you.

Interesting concept. I will try this out. I generally have more difficulty with controlling the softness and consistent voicing though than the evenness.

Chord blocking= manifestation!!!... Sounds weird @ first but stay with me. When you get chord blocking correctly you mentioned being able to "feel" the oneness of the chords evenly!! We have to be able to "feel" the correct hand positions/ the sound etc before we actually can execute it! ( Living in the end result) That's why most of us can sight read a piece that we've already heard better than ones we haven't!! It's because it's in our aural/ minds eye before we even place our fingers on the 🎹!!! # Music Nerd 🤓 strikes again 😂😂😂🙏🙏🤘

At 7:25 you say D sharp #.... shouldn't it be E flat b???
Yes! lol the score I was looking at had a D# and the one I used in the video was an Eb 🤦♀️ good catch!
Though I play the guitar with the L hand and also the Keyboard with the L hand too as just cannot use my R hand!!!
Why, how can I get out of this dilemma as playing Chords on the Keyboard is no problem at all.

But (no offence at all) you really need to talk a tad slower.
Sometimes it is quite hard to follow you.
Actually once in a while i check if my YT speed setting is at "normal" and not at "1,5 x faster" when watching a video of yours... 🙂😉

If you can play a chord evenly on its own, but not when you jump to it, would you practice the jump with different sets of fewer fingers too? **experimenting**

I am giving this a try. But slowly, as recommended! I got smitten by Rachmaninoff, so rather ambitiously (for me) trying to play Op23#6. I will get a lot of chance to try this out!! Last quaver in bar 8 of Op23#6 I have to hit two notes with one finger (smallish hands), this DOES seems to be helping with the chord and the jump to it. Four note RH chords in bar 18 etc I am planning to treat the two inner notes as one - unless someone has a better suggestion?!

So far, for the four notes, it seems to be working, mostly. But something like the G major dominant 7th (or minor 7th)(root position) with the middle note missing is tricky with the second at the top, if that makes sense.
