"For 80 more years" That aged well. It was taken out of service a few days ago due to issues with the rotor.

Growing up in pitman, NJ the siren went off at noon every day. No curfew siren there but be home when the streetlights came on or you heard your dad’s distinctive whistle !

Siren looks great, hope they take it back down and fix it correctly. Motor is running at the wrong speed and is giving way too much starting torque to the rotor

Couldn't have included a 5 second shot of the siren doing it's designed function? Two minutes of I have an object that does something unique and nobody else has one. Here's a picture of what it looked like and a picture of how we made it look pretty. Oh yeah here is a picture of the guy putting it back up on the tower, but you couldn't show five seconds with audio of it running so we can hear the the SIREN in action?
