I still have my lever belt from high school, it’s maybe like 6 years old. I think it’s titan brand and it’s held up pretty much perfect aside from normal wear. It’ll last probably another 10 easily, but if it breaks I would definitely buy another Titan
Which version of the SBD belt do you recommend? 10mm or 13mm belt? If we are talking about the long run and about competing seriously in powerlifting should I consider 10mm or jump straight for 13mm?
First of all thanks for replying 🙌. Some details: I'm 183cm and 80 kg(low fat) the idea is to compete as a junior in the -83kg category. In addition, I'm a conv. deadlifter I still have to try sumo but since I'm making good progress I keep conv. as my comp movement. Thats my main concern cause I think squat could be great the thicker belt but not so good for conv. deadlift.@@CoachArian I will leave here the vids. I would appreciate if you could take a look at them. Squat: ua-cam.com/users/shortsixHZ_3F6Mxc DL: ua-cam.com/users/shortsGD0HQ6wZ-p0
Really informative video Arian. Cleared things up for me I'd say. I have one question, what is your opinion on Gymreapers, Profitness or Iron Bull Strength lifting belts?
There are thousands of random brands out there so I can't see/try them all out. So you have to do your own research. All these random companies get the same belt from the same manufacturer and then just throw their own brand logo on it to sell. So they're all about the same quality and it just depends on how much they can sell it for depending on their marketing skills. But why get a Gymreaper or Iron Bull belt when you can get something like Inzer, Pioneer, or Stoic for the same price or cheaper? And the Profitness belt looks like a flimsy, bodybuilding belt.

What about strenghtshop lever belt? I've seen a lot of hype and good reviews about it. Also should i get 10mm or 13mm?
Sorry, at this time, I only know about the belts I go over in the video.
@@CoachArianno problem
im sure its more of a novelty item than actual lifting belt but i cant seem to find any reviews on the Village Hidden in Iron belts.
There are so many brands out there these days that you're going to find little to no reviews on many of them. And I believe that brand is fairly new.
