That the plan,Pull the motor, transmission , axles and then the front suspension . I’ll end up fully painting it with something like chassis saver before reassembly
@@SyncroMotoring I just got my chassis back from media blasting. I'm still cleaning up suspension parts and once that's done, I'll powder coat most of them, then paint the chassis and start putting it back together.
Good catch , I did take some measurements and it does not fit perfectly but I positioned the pans in the spot that would favor most holes. Worst case I’ll need to oversized and use a washer . These are the good pans not the best ones from cip1 so the fitment wasn’t perfect .
The video quality improvement since the first episode is crazyyy 👏🏼👌🏼
Thanks , next one will be even better 🍻
1 vote for pulling the motor
Sounds like the little 1600 is next on the chopping block
Sick floor pans bro.
Love the work bro.
VW fo lyfe bro.
Pull the motor. I took everything off of my chassis, then cut the pans out. Much easier to prep the lip from underneath.

Did you test fit it to the body ….. how do you know if it lines up especially the bolt holes ?
