I used to work Housekeeping for a hotel chain, we ended up putting signage around warning guests they Would be charged X amount if they trashed the room.
Trabajadores de hotel, ¿cómo manejaron a los peores huéspedes? Siempre me sorprende cómo logran mantener la calma en situaciones tan difíciles. ¡Admiro su paciencia!
I have a lot but the most frequent freak out moments are when guests come in after midnight on a sold out night expecting to check in because it's "technically" the next day. That's not how it works, there's a check in time and a check out time for a reason. Also a side note: You are paying for the ROOM, you are not paying by the time. Whether you use the room from the full check in/check out time or use the room for an hour.
The scariest was when a guy tried to get me into an elevator alone after realizing there's no cameras in there OR trying to get me into the room late at night "because somethings wrong in their room."
Okay, I worked in major hotel chains ( 4 star hotels) for over 25 years, and MANY of the customers are truly insufferable B's. However, I know how SOME housekeeps get even for all of the verbal abuse, and story #1 made me laugh out loud--- because I'm 90% certain that some of the maids who was fed up with the "bride-zilla" simply went into her suite while she was out and took turns trying on her wedding dress for fun!!!😂😂😂
My Uncle Jack and his family were caretakers for a hotel in Colorado. According to my cousin Danny, there was the ghost of this middle aged woman who died in the bathtub via unaliving, in room 237. She terrified Danny. Uncle Jack had an encounter with her as well.
I worked for a condo building at a popular ski resort. Never went into any of the rooms and by the time I came in the morning shift had already cleaned everything, so all i did was walk around and refill towels at the hot tubs. I come around a corner one day towards the employee entrance that's right next to the garage doors for the parking garage, and one of the doors has been driven into, ripped off the wall mounting, and is just blasted all over the ground. It was ruined forever and later they needed to get some serious construction work to put a new one in because the way it had been ripped off was so harsh it destroyed the wall it was mounted on. I'm flabbergasted. Me and another worker walked into the garage and found and extremely expensive looking blue jeep with an incredible glittery blue paint job that's just covered in scratches and plaster. This dude had tried to get into the garage and hadn't bothered to get a key card to open the door, and when the door didn't open because he had no key card, he drove into the door, ripped the whole thing off the wall, parked his car, and checked in like nothing had happened. I wasn't around for when the police came or when the owner confronted him, but it was GLORIOUS.
Probably remnants of COVID to avoid demonetization. I've compared UA-cam censorship to the Gumball episode The Safety in the past, and it shows no signs of stopping.
The all inclusive resort story...from the experience of my family getting the Spanish police to do ANYTHING would be novel

... He even censored Lockdown... Since when was that a thing??? Like, does the word Lockdown trigger people nowadays??? I'm downright baffled.
