I'm still here. I like watching this stuff. I'm not very experienced at car maintenance and it's nice watching someone work on the car I have. Mines a 04 9-3 having some engine problems so it's probably not long for this world but it's still running today.

Watched the entire video. I love the old wheels vs the turbo x ones. It's nice to see the brake upgrade through the wheels now. Regardless your opinion is what really counts since it is your car after all. Keep up the good work.

At 6:09 a screw drops down, the brake disc retaining screw? Would have warned you before but I looked at the video til the bitter end. Was slightly more interesting than looking at the stove fire that was on Norwegian TV a few years ago. Which lasted about a month. The open wheels with those rust free brakes behind look great, worth to show it. Me I should be looking for a set of Bopox wheels that hide the rusty disc edges and calipers.

Great choice. Those P3's are a rim design SAAB should have offered, better than the 5 spoke splits.

I kinda like those wheels although the Turbo-X wheels are very nice aswell. The turbo-x wheels might fit better overall on the facelift 9-3’s (like the Turbo-X)
About the 9-5, not sure if it has a bad bearing along the accessory belt or if it’s the balance or timing chain slapping due to slack, but there’s something off on the cold start.

If it would be back today, it would be completely free from GM's control and saab could trully be able to achieve the potential they've shown the last years

Brian Bird yea pretty pricey. I reckon if they went back with scania they may get bought by Volkswagen. Like if they waited until 2014 or 2015 to hit bankruptcy Volkswagen woudlve bought them. Apparently they were Oi to buy scania and Saab 🙂

@@PierreColombo900 that's why they need to stand alone. If VW owned them and told them to use substandard parts, they'd just thumb their nose and do their own thing anyway like they did with GM.

I never was a big fan of the turbo X wheels. I see a 9-3 sport combi around town and I really don't care for the look. I think you made the right call.

Personally I prefer the P3 Wheels .... And if you paint the brake in Red, Yellow or Orange color will definitely COOL !

What’s a good website to buy some rims? I just put winter tires on my 2007 9-3, found out after that two of my rims are bent! Looking to style with some new rims.
if you want something cheap and aftermarket, tire rack is a good place to look

Hey tire rack says the p3s won't fit on my 06 aero, is that true?
To my knowledge they stopped making them in 5x110. You can get wobble bolts if they have a similar bolt pattern usually
