Fun Fact: The Minnesota State Fair has a bean art gallery every year in the huge agriculture building. It's a friendly art competition (separate from the others) so there are ribbons given and everything. Generally the pieces aren't painted but they can get really intricate and detailed with all the different sizes/types of beans. Like no joke, some people make realistic portraits with beans. Thought you might find that interesting~
