Farcry 5 looked more realistic(the colors,tone and details),Farcry 6 reminds me alot of Farcry 3 and 2...not sayin one is better than the other tho..both look great in their own ways
FC6 is probably my favorite in a while after 3. They combined a similar setting and aesthetic as 3 and flushed it out with the experience and additions from newer games. It's really fun and engaging, a feeling I haven't felt since 3 regarding the series as a whole.

I played far cry 6 with ultra graphics and the hd texture pack downloaded and it’s amazing, Far cry 5 and 6 both got me feel the realism in their own way
Rockstar is on another level with detail like that in their open world games.. GTA-V still looks very good for such an old game and the newer Red Dead Redemption 2 has way more complex little details as well.. I cannot wait for GTA VI (or 6), I think it's gonna blow our minds..
Well I still love this game for its gameplay but it’s pretty similar to the other games so you gotta work on graphics and cutscenes to show that it has evolved from the previous game Or else it’s another fifa/NBA situation where it’s the same game.
I don't get it, the characters look incredible. Pretty good facial animations and Dani's face feels next gen detailed to me in the cutscenes specifically
Say what you will, but fc5 had the best gameplay imo. The story could have ended better and they could of had horses in the game, but fc5 will always be my favorite. The d.l.c.'s weren't bad either.

Fc5 had the best gameplay because it didn't have this weapon/ammo tier crap and you could switch between ammunition out in the world, instead of finding these gay new dawn/fc6 work benches. And everything you bought was in CASH. And idc for gay fake weapons made out of kitchen sinks.
This tends to happen in sequels when they add more customisation. More models to make so they skimp on the detail so they can churn out more options . Personally , I prefer high detail of sheer quantity.
Far Cry 5 is the best, it looks very photorealistic. The effects are way more enhanced and makes more sense. For example, look at this comparison differences between the explosions @3:49 not only that but @4:00 listen to the sound of the grenade ticking, you don't even hear any ticking in Far Cry 6 which clearly shows Far Cry 6 was rushed and went steps backwards.
I'm all about gameplay over small details and graphics, but either way far cry 6 is still the winner for me, it feels like far cry 2 which was honestly the pinnacle of the series.
That's half of Ubisofts problem tho, they just recycle old assets from other games. Sometimes not even games that are a part of the same franchise or even genre. For example, engine sounds from The Crew 2 used in Ghost Recon Breakpoint or a super car from Watch Dogs used in Rainbow 6 Siege

I miss the 44 mag from fc5 now that im playing fc6. Also, new dawn was just ubisoft testing the waters with a lot of crap they ended up putting in fc6. The 45/70 is a whole lot better in fc5 than fc6 too. I could take down helicopters with the 45/70 in fc5.

Not me I've always enjoyed far cry & , I've played through all then up till 6 since the first far cry on cry engine and aswell as far cry instincts and evolution on Xbox
Graphically not much difference Maybe light effects arw a bit imroved in fc6 But gameplaywise fc 5 was much bettee than fc 6 I dont know what genius decided that turning fc 6 into a grinding mmo was a good idea U have to do a lot of useless side missions to level up first U have to lurk everywhere to collect garbage 2 And removing the skills, instead connecring some skills to gears? It is the most terrible aspect of the game So i cant now kill one guy, take his pistol and shoot others because u have to grind to find the right gear while removing other perks from other gears? Fc 6 is the worst one gameplaywise and storywise Not even talking about woke aspect It was in fc 5 too, but it wasnt as intrusive and annoying as in fc 6
The main reason why far cry 6 wins for me is that its world feels ALIVE with changes in weather, swaying Palm trees, waves, storms etc. Fc5 has no weather effects and trees that are borderline static the entire time.
Farcry 5 was just a better game. I had to stop playing 6 after 3 days because I was board. 6 is missing something I can't quite put my finger on, it's just not as fun
Dont get me worng, this was great work Petting this together. but always comparing graphics and physics is a major problem. To my feeling there is way to much Focus on graphics in the industry. They should focus on gameplay innovation, fun and Story. 10-15 years ago we did not need super high definition graphics , but Overall the games were more fun. There are to many titles These days with good graphics and a Lack of everything Else. for fc6 i Think this is not so much of a problem, i like it much more than 4&5 so far. Still a cool Video 😉
To be honest i just bought farcry 6 and it feels super nice to play so far.. my favorite one was fc3 didnt really care to much for 4 or 5 but i never gave a huge chance for them because i didnt feel like they would live up to 3 im gonna play 6 all the way through and probably go back to 4 and 5 afterwards

Try comparing Far Cry 6 to Far Cry 2. Definitely needs to be compared to its incredible, yet to be topped predecessor in terms of details and atmosphere/immersion.
Its the same way like GTA. GTA 4 was far away from GTA 5, better details in 4 but lower resolution, better game mechanic. Farcry 5 was superior in graphic vs Farcry 6. Farcry 6 is probably online multiplayer ready, then, good details are unnecesary for online shooter.
You haven't compared The texture quality well which was far better in Farcry 5. Farcry 6's texture quality looks unpolished and backdated. And also Shadow quality is horrible. Even after the optimization, they could deliver more progressive graphics. Just look at Ghost Recon 'Wildlands', it came out 2017, a third person shooter with more field of view, but very well optimized and better polished in some ways.

I finished farcry five right before playing farcry 6 (now) needless to say, I'm having a lot more fun with 6. To me, FC5 just felt empty.

I feel FC5 was more realistic in terms of colors.
The main reason why far cry 6 wins for me is that its world feels ALIVE with changes in weather, swaying Palm trees, waves, storms etc. Fc5 has no weather effects and trees that are borderline static the entire time.

but always comparing graphics and physics is a major problem. To my feeling there is way to much Focus on graphics in the industry. They should focus on gameplay innovation, fun and Story. 10-15 years ago we did not need super high definition graphics , but Overall the games were more fun.
There are to many titles These days with good graphics and a Lack of everything Else.
for fc6 i Think this is not so much of a problem, i like it much more than 4&5 so far.

In some respect 5 looks better, but the difference between the two for me is minor. I'm loving FC6.
To be honest i just bought farcry 6 and it feels super nice to play so far.. my favorite one was fc3 didnt really care to much for 4 or 5 but i never gave a huge chance for them because i didnt feel like they would live up to 3 im gonna play 6 all the way through and probably go back to 4 and 5 afterwards
They are all pretty much the same game ala fc 3 just different plots story wise.

I played 2 3 and 4 but skipped primal and 5 because they looked to much the same. Went back and played 5 and was suprised that u felt like a new game.
Another cool detail to farcry6 is the bullet tip colours change depending on which mod you choose explosive incendiary poison standard ect
I don’t know about you, but when I shoot the water in a video game I get really disappointed if the immersion is broken by bad physics.
Far Cry 6 is definitely better then 5.

@@mothlamp2 gameplay wise especially on the PS5 it's far better. No map editor is a disappointment but it was only inevitable that the Devs would do this.
Far cry 5 was that good looking that I don't think it's even a bad thing if far cry 6 looks slightly better. Hell I'd say far cry 5 still looks better then majority of next gen games releasing now.

6 is better all round though, map design, missions structure, gameplay. It really is a great game, took Far Cry 5's formula and perfected it.

Fc5 looks a lot better because what they did on fc6 is just big map with less detail, something you can see since ac origins till ac valhalla, extra big maps with less detail
Paris and London in AC is big enough in my opinion, origin is not too bad. Bigger isn't always better.

Its the same way like GTA. GTA 4 was far away from GTA 5, better details in 4 but lower resolution, better game mechanic. Farcry 5 was superior in graphic vs Farcry 6. Farcry 6 is probably online multiplayer ready, then, good details are unnecesary for online shooter.

You haven't compared The texture quality well which was far better in Farcry 5. Farcry 6's texture quality looks unpolished and backdated. And also Shadow quality is horrible.
Even after the optimization, they could deliver more progressive graphics. Just look at Ghost Recon 'Wildlands', it came out 2017, a third person shooter with more field of view, but very well optimized and better polished in some ways.
