    Such a sweet action on the Slickback. You got that sorted. So what if it doesn’t dive to the same depth it will slay on the cod. Well done mate.

      @@fishermansoffice yeah, the right tools go along way lol.. painting will take time mate. practice dots, lines and squiggles. it will help with paint pressure control. and someone that is really good at it on UA-cam is 'Jekyll Productions' amazing lure painter from America, and will teach ya heaps 👌👍

    • @fishermansoffice
      @fishermansoffice  4 роки тому +1

      Haha yeah i do need some more practice on those kinds of details.

    Great video lee I still rate the paint job it will only get better that bandsaw and air brush make it so much easier compared to a hand saw and spray paint ayy. Can’t wait for your next lure vid hopefully you can get some fishing vids out now that restrictions have opened slightly.well done🤙👍

    When I seal mine with superglue I have a box of disposable gloves squirt on the glove and wipe it over the lure its way easier youll end up glueing your finger to the lure 😂🤣😂🤣 another good vid mate you look like you enjoying yourself making them .I was thinking the other day of doing a few slickbacks in timber I need to buy one for reference .Get yourself some cedar as well way more buoyant than pine and less chance of splitting.I go to window makers and ask them for there scraps .

    • @fishermansoffice
      @fishermansoffice  4 роки тому

      Ah yeah i realised the glue tends to stick pretty well on the fingers there 😂
      Im definitely enjoying the process mate also not against using different woods which ill probably look into further down the track.

    Hey lee I was just wondering what you were rubbing on your wood to make it water proof
    Also what wood do you like to use for your lures?
    Cheers

    • @fishermansoffice
      @fishermansoffice  2 роки тому

      Hey mate.
      It's just some thin super glue it gets into the grain of the wood well a creates a decent seal.
      I normally just use pine as its cheap and easy to obtain.
