Mario Party is a party video game featuring characters from the Mario franchise. It combines the mechanics of board games with more than 50 different mini-games. The two modes of Mario Party are Adventure Mode, the standard mode of play with up to four players, and Mini-Game Island, a single player mode which forgoes the board game mechanics and instead has you win mini-games to progress through levels layed out on an world map.
In this run, Doomsday31415 plays through the game's Mini-Game Island mode as fast as possible, improving upon the previous publication by 01:12.92.

I love how the TAS does so well in some of these games that they can just sit and chill for half the time limit

It’s pretty interesting that the piranha plant is legit hunting the solo player and not just running forward, even turning around if the solo player sneaks behind it
This mini game is the easiest and most unfair mini game ever! If you mash the B button fast enough as the solo player and mess up on all obstacles, you can literally still escape!

@Nevada Mario Party 1 had some very simple minigames with silly logic because initially Nintendo didn't know if people would like the game or not

I think it was programmed like that
They are always on hard AI when playing on Mini Game Island, so they weren't going to fail there. I mean, you can see just how... intelligent... that AI is on other games where the runner literally plays with them, but in games where all they have to do is not fuck up inputs or timing? Yeah, they won't.

20:28 - In this mini-game you did poorly. I usually whipped with it for 19 seconds to the end and my record, if my memory is not mistaken, was 21. I achieved this record somehow 8 times and then I took a break from playing for a few years and after that time I already fell out of the rhythm that allowed me to do so. I assure you, however, that if I had to play it today, I think that I would easily make it to 18 seconds to the end. I was so good at this game that without cheating no one could beat me in every mini-game and consequently no one wanted to play it with me any longer.
