  • Here is a restoration/rebuild of my hula hoe that has been overly worn down from our rocky soil. This video details the process/steps I took in rebuilding the hoe. Not perfect but works well for me:) Thanks for watching

Great job. I always find it very satisfying when I am able to repair a tool rather than buying anew one.

Having done tool rebuilds in the past- I'd suggest clamping a pipe/rod in with the piece next time to get a really nice curve to the blade. You find a piece at least as long as the blade stock is wide with the same curve as the original blade. Just make it a little easier. :) Good work though! Good to see others taking care of their tools!

3:21 Everything these days is made for production not quality and designed to wear out. It's up to the consumer to make the product how it should have been from the manufacture.GREAT JOB ! THANKS FOR SHARING.

LOL... I have been wanting to do some videos but am not much of a camera guy... in front or behind it... but i am a project do-er. And yes, while I've got a ways to go before i could even come close to a wranglerstar vid... he is one of my subscriptions that i watch consistently and an inspiration on how i made this video:)

Easy to make .Heat an old hand saw blade till its RED, and bend into shape while red.It will be better than the steel this fellow used , as it is high carbon .You don't need the oscillating mechanism as it is very hard on your gut muscles.Better to pull it
