To clarify about Alice. Todd's ex-wife took their daughter when she left so Todd got the Alice model. Because why in the world would Todd's ex **leave** Alice there in the house when she knew he was pretty violent drug addict? And a thing that Todd **didn't** say during the dinner scene when he ranted about robots taking all the jobs. He didn't mention Alice too. Also, you did hit on a MASSIVE clue about Alice when she didn't eat. Another subtle clue were the small conversation in Rose's house about "Why do the humans hate **us** ?". Right there was a red flag...
Remembering how sure you seemed that you wouldn't have a relationship with an android, only to watch you catch some fairly obvious feels for Chloe has been a wild ride 🤣

Why Alice doesn't have an LED: At Todd's house, when you look at Alice's drawings in her treasure box, the first drawing shows her bleeding on the side of her head. That was probably because Todd once violently ripped off Alice's LED. And the fox toy that Alice often plays with always has a band-aid where the android's LED is. LOVE this playthrough, looking forward to you playing more choice based games～
this was great. I'm glad you decided to continue your violent playthrough instead of second guessing yourself and switching to peace. if anything I would say your playthrough is one of the most consistent for the characters. you can almost imagine your Markus chose violence because the last time he didn't someone he cared about died.
My first play through I got a terrible ending where everyone died except for Kara, Alice and Luther. I replayed the last chapter and literally only made two small choices differently and got the same ending as you where most people lived. It’s insane how much of a difference two choices can make. Also there’s a path where Carl lives and instead of visiting his grave you actually talk to him and that scene was so special. You should def replay it. And thanks for the shout out to us Mexicans, you the homie 😂🙌🏽
That title is so misleading as fuck, I was already expecting the worst hahaha. I know I'm commenting a little too late but I just wanted to say that I love this playthrough. Honestly, when you decided to go full agressive with Markus and the public opinion being so low I was already preparing myself for the worst on Kara, because depending on your desicion, the public image would have decided Kara's destiny, so sacrificing Jerry, although sad, it was the best desicion. I actually didn't expect this to go this well, but it did, you did a great job at the with desicion making. Seeing the story and characters again made me relived those moments again and appreciate it even more. Thank you. Objectably speaking this is the best game of its genre, but of course I would love to see you explore other games like this like the ones you already mentioned in the video. Also, I like the way you edit the intros with one part of the playthrough with the music alongside presenting the chapter with the title, it could be great see a similar thing with other games.

Philosophically speaking, it's impossible. Therefore, my theory is that Connor's original interpretation of deviancy was right : contradicting orders which give the impression of free-will and emotions. Kamski is the one who created this virus, who created Markus, and launch all the event of the story to come back from "exile".
this is the most unique and THE best playthrough I've seen of this game, the fact that you got ALL THREE good endings is CRAZY (and is something that I doubted TBH lol, and not without reason there's a lot of bad endings so the chance of getting ONE good ending is a bit slim) congratulations bruh

For your next playthrough you should try to mess things up :D some hints: Carl and Todd can survive! Connor can chase Kara a whole lot more with an epic chase scene. Hank & Connor can have epic fights. What happens when all die? You can see more of the camps with Kara or escape with something else instead of the bus. Sleep in the house and let Connor chase Kara some more :D Sounds like you need a "Connor stays a machine and accomplishes his mission" playthrough to see this other stuff you missed so far.

So excited to see what’s next! Hoping for either Batman or DMC personally. Also, Mati, I dunno if you remember, but this crazy preacher guy in the first episode was telling Markus that he would destroy Detroit.
This game is easily one of my favourite games of all time. Its *P E A K* cinema. And we could Definetly do a 2nd Playthrough. Now that your used to how the game works. This game, honestly is one of my favourite, storys ever. Every part of this game is, so good, and especially the characters Kara-the mother Conner- The Badass Markus- Robo Jesus But in the end, we definitely...became human.

Well, I know of one big streamer who didn't get the big clue for the Connor path except via spoilers in their chat. Mati replayed a mission and earned it. I was so scared for Mati when he got timed out. Hank and Connor, they are our best boyos. And yes I clapped at the end, lol. First of all, I loved this playthrough. Ups and Downs, it's all part of the experience. I'm so happy Mati got to do this, fresh and clean without spoilers. At the core, there was just something super organic about how Mati played, and that matters. I've seen other streamers and they meta gamed Hard, while the results might feel good for sure, there is always that catch that they weren't just living in the game experience. They played to get a result. Yeh, Mati did lean that way from time to time. I mean who wouldn't with this story, and these characters. You sympathize and even empathize with them so much so you want to make the "right" choice in a game, where there is no such thing. It is agnostic, tho you will see and feel those results. Still, Mati for the most part reacted in the moment, showing off his principles and thinking process, and by end game, how he's changed or not. Again, Clever on the Devs. Detroit: QTE was such a good concept in the use of that mechanic. Having mere seconds, gives no chance for artifice when you are truly playing. Meta gaming is just going thru the motions. You never know what will matter truly when it's by the heart. I respect Mati so much for what he did here. He lived with his choices, and got a true rpg experience. He decided what mattered most in the moment and the long haul. That being said, omg, knowing how things affect other things in the game, it was like watching someone defeating a lion, not seeing the T Rex behind them, waiting, lol. In the end, sacrifices had to be made to make sure our peeps lived to see another day. It Hurt. But, they aka Jerry chose to be an option. NEVER EVER seen that option before. Yet, I did cry seeing our three cross the border. Dammit this game pulls on our emotions like we are puppets. Mati did it the hard way, and we ended up satisfied. "Pause." Still, this game has so many moments he didn't experience that would expand so much on the story and answer his many questions. In addition to things happening that just make you think. Spoilers, including Todd for example. There are so many other experiences to feel. No matter how you approach things, it'd be cool to see your reactions as the gameplay showed reactions of the main characters. Fair criticism that some of the choices given result in the story saying things you don't expect or want. One of the Dragon Age games has a similar problem. Thankfully the bigger decisions with bigger effects are more direct. Also, the game isn't subtle obviously. The message is very clear. And Yeah, Living in the US, we wonder how far things are going to go in the coming year. History informs, and says some scary things. But anyway, Mati did a good. This is genuinely one of my fave games in the past few years. Dune best time, other than Lord of the Rings. Peeps who like these things are just the best people in every way, intelligence and just being attractive as fuck, Just Facts.
Markus is based on Jesse Williams (vocals too) from Greys Anatomy, I love his acting and I am so happy that he was in this game. Such a wonderful human.
Honestly when i played this i think i panicked TOO much with Kara Luther and Alice and went the boat route but i think only Alice survived i was so mad and upset about that too i was so close too but at least the little one made it that's all i was focused on
Very fun play-through, Mati 👏 don’t know if you are able to see this late comment or not, but I still want to say you have very impressive EQ after seeing you played both an action game and a decision game 😂 First, I was impressed how good at self-soothing you were when you played BMW. Now this, you were consistently switching between making decisions as yourself (a gamer)and making meta-cognitive decisions(think about how to think) to play as someone else to make the play-through more fun to your audience(a content creator) That’s a lot on your prefrontal cortex. The ending is a very good one, in my opinion. There is something called necessary evil, and great leaders know the display of force is the most effective way to make people sit on the negotiation table. Don’t doubt your decision, I think you made great ones.
Great run Mati you got the best endings probably. There is a crazy amount of bad endings where you fail and get killed or caught and put in an extermination camp. If you do another run you should try doing the Connor terminator(machine) path. Also there is a secret ending that you get if all your characters die and Connor fails to find Jericho.
Detroit Become Human is the first thing I watched on your channel, you earned a subscriber, I love your commentary. Well, I know of one big streamer who didn't get the big clue for the Connor path except via spoilers in their chat. Mati replayed a mission and earned it. I was so scared for Mati when he got timed out. Hank and Connor, they are our best boyos. And yes I clapped at the end, lol.
First of all, I loved this playthrough. Ups and Downs, it's all part of the experience. I'm so happy Mati got to do this, fresh and clean without spoilers. At the core, there was just something super organic about how Mati played, and that matters. I've seen other streamers and they meta gamed Hard, while the results might feel good for sure, there is always that catch that they weren't just living in the game experience. They played to get a result.
Yeh, Mati did lean that way from time to time. I mean who wouldn't with this story, and these characters. You sympathize and even empathize with them so much so you want to make the "right" choice in a game, where there is no such thing. It is agnostic, tho you will see and feel those results. Still, Mati for the most part reacted in the moment, showing off his principles and thinking process, and by end game, how he's changed or not. Again, Clever on the Devs.
Detroit: QTE was such a good concept in the use of that mechanic. Having mere seconds, gives no chance for artifice when you are truly playing. Meta gaming is just going thru the motions. You never know what will matter truly when it's by the heart.
I respect Mati so much for what he did here. He lived with his choices, and got a true rpg experience. He decided what mattered most in the moment and the long haul.
That being said, omg, knowing how things affect other things in the game, it was like watching someone defeating a lion, not seeing the T Rex behind them, waiting, lol. In the end, sacrifices had to be made to make sure our peeps lived to see another day. It Hurt. But, they aka Jerry chose to be an option. NEVER EVER seen that option before. Yet, I did cry seeing our three cross the border. Dammit this game pulls on our emotions like we are puppets.
Mati did it the hard way, and we ended up satisfied. "Pause." Still, this game has so many moments he didn't experience that would expand so much on the story and answer his many questions. In addition to things happening that just make you think. Spoilers, including Todd for example. There are so many other experiences to feel. No matter how you approach things, it'd be cool to see your reactions as the gameplay showed reactions of the main characters.
Fair criticism that some of the choices given result in the story saying things you don't expect or want. One of the Dragon Age games has a similar problem. Thankfully the bigger decisions with bigger effects are more direct. Also, the game isn't subtle obviously. The message is very clear. And Yeah, Living in the US, we wonder how far things are going to go in the coming year. History informs, and says some scary things. But anyway, Mati did a good. This is genuinely one of my fave games in the past few years.
Dune best time, other than Lord of the Rings. Peeps who like these things are just the best people in every way, intelligence and just being attractive as fuck, Just Facts.

Honestly when i played this i think i panicked TOO much with Kara Luther and Alice and went the boat route but i think only Alice survived i was so mad and upset about that too i was so close too but at least the little one made it that's all i was focused on
Very fun play-through, Mati 👏 don’t know if you are able to see this late comment or not, but I still want to say you have very impressive EQ after seeing you played both an action game and a decision game 😂 First, I was impressed how good at self-soothing you were when you played BMW. Now this, you were consistently switching between making decisions as yourself (a gamer)and making meta-cognitive decisions(think about how to think) to play as someone else to make the play-through more fun to your audience(a content creator) That’s a lot on your prefrontal cortex. The ending is a very good one, in my opinion. There is something called necessary evil, and great leaders know the display of force is the most effective way to make people sit on the negotiation table. Don’t doubt your decision, I think you made great ones.

Great run Mati you got the best endings probably. There is a crazy amount of bad endings where you fail and get killed or caught and put in an extermination camp. If you do another run you should try doing the Connor terminator(machine) path. Also there is a secret ending that you get if all your characters die and Connor fails to find Jericho.
