  • This is my Colorado Trail mountain bikepacking training route located in my home town of Ladera Ranch, Orange County, Southern California filmed on May 1, 2024. It is over 43 miles, exceeding 5,300 feet of climbing, beginning with the "Ladera Loop" and traveling via the Tijeras Creek bed to O'Neill Regional Park, Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto De Caza, and back. It includes pavement stretches, gravel trails, a "hill climb sufferfest" ranging from 10-27% incline grades, dirt fire roads, dirt single track, coastal desert terrain, 3 mini forests, and water crossings.
