Arin's Spinjitzu was wonderful. Arin is a very special ninja and has a good heart. I'm rooting for Arin to restore his faith and confidence, succeed in his training, master the Rising Dragom Technique, continue his ninja legacy, and finally find his parents, no matter what.
Finally, I realized when Arin achieved perfect spinjitzu and there were shatterspin trails behind him and on the tornado also they twisted his theme amazingly because it was a bittersweet moment
My theory: Spinjitzu is an art that is based on motion, and it is teached and learned that way according to how the ninja learn it in pilot episodes, and Egalt and Rontu teaching (these two devised the rising dragon which is advanced technique relies on Spinjitzu and applies a similar principle) this principle doesn't work with arin as we saw that he struggled a lot to perform a full Spinjitzu. On the other hand, Ras is teached by his master that strength is everything, and pass this to his students including frak who share the knowledge with arin. Thus, arin learn the Spinjitzu in a different way, corrupted one that worked well with him, and i think this way is the same basics that shatterspin is developed from. Second thought: maybe its animation error you know this show is full of them hehe
It is motion. You literally spin when using Spinjitsu. Spinning is a form of motion. But it's not just motion. It's also harmony. To achive Spinjitsu you need to achive harmony first. Arin was not in harmony with himself which is why his Spinjitsu kept failing. It's also why Sora's Spinjitsu fails. Spinjitsu itself is a fighting form that has harmony at it's very core because it was made to protect. Without harmony it cannot work. Arin used force to achive something similar to a Spinjitsu tornado. It is not a proper one since it doesn't use harmony but instead it's likely to be a corrupted version of Spinjitsu that likely has negative side effects. I don't think it's a mix of Spinjitsu and Shatterspin since like mentioned in the video Arin never learned how to do that. He doesn't even know the basics for Shatterspin unlike Spinjitsu where he does know the basics because he had trained for years on his own. There's a big theme of harmony and power in Ninjago. Spinjitsu is harmony. That gets mentioned several times. Even during that scene when Arin learned Spinjitsu it gets indirectly implied since his snake friend said that you can't always wait for harmony and have to force your way through or something along those lines. Yet Arin somehow achived a Spinjitsu tornado not through harmony but instead through force. Or at least something that resembles a Spinjitsu tornado. Perhaps it's some form of early evil stage Spinjitsu. Basically the early form of an evil version of Spinjitsu. That's at least my hypothesis. Granted it probably won't be exactly like this but I do think that the end result will be similar.
I have a theory that Arin might find his mother, and find out she turned evil, because of his flashbacks where this was said: "Everyone is a suspect until proven innocent, including... YOUR MOTHER!", "haha, you got me!" that line felt extra to me, and I have a feeling it's going to have a purpose and he's going to remember this at a later time, where it's actually true
Hearing this, I also hope it's true, but in the past I've had difficulties trying to tell apart throwaway lines and actual setups. For example, back in Crystalized, when Lloyd led Aspheera to the escape tunnel after the cops showed up, she was like "you kept your promise... interesting" For months I thought that was gonna show up again later on in the season, perhaps with Aspheera siding with the ninja due to their honour Turns out it was a mere throwaway thing
I theorise his parents are dead. It dosent matter if it was the merge or Ras, because Ras would blame it on Arin or the ninja, breaking him more. It would probably be Ras because we saw them alive in season 1
My theory is that Arin will be “evil” for most of Dragons Rising. Next season Ras will make Arin steal the dragon icon from Lloyd. At some point Ras’ master will see the potential in Arin and ditch Ras for him. Arin will probably turn good again in the final battle agains Ras’ master in like season 5 or 6. And my bet is that Arin will finally see his parents, but differently from the end of season 1 when they were proud of him, they will be disappointed. That would break Arin and make him turn good again. Also Arin cannot learn shatterspin because he is not an elemental master. His spinjitzu is probably not harmonized and unstable because when Frak was training with Arin, he said that he shouldn’t wait for the world to harmonize. Also imagine Arin getting a boomerang for his object spinjitzu, that would be insane.

Here is one question. Let's say Arin learns Shatterspin. Arin can also create object Spinjitzu. What if, having learned Shatterspin, he can transfer it to objects? Up to this point, I vividly imagined how Arin could create his own Spinjitzu and take many objects (and maybe even people) under his control thanks to object Spinjitzu, acquiring abilities similar to telekinesis, but what if he transfers Shatterspin to objects? He can't learn Shatterspin. It was said that only Elemental Masters can learn Shatterspin. Arin has no Elemental Power. Unless he steals an Elemental Power from someone, somehow he cannot learn Shatterspin. That was confirmed in the books. Those literally spoiled that Wyldfire's power was heat before that got revealed in the show. (Yk when we all still thought it was fire like Kai's). And the Shatterspin thing with being Elemental Masters got confirmed in S2 Part 1 if I recall correctly.
I think it's the first step to learning proper shatterspin. As Lord Ras said back in season 2 part 1, shatterspin is a corrupted version of spinjitzu. So learning spinjitzu is a key element to unlocking shatterspin, but from a shatterspin master like Lord Ras. Therefore any spinjitzu taught by Ras, would be a hint corrupted and when used with the gong of shattering, will enable the person to use proper shatterspin.
The spinjitzu for every time he used it had some shatter spin effects so maybe the gong of shattering doesn’t destroy your goodness but enhances your power and force over the laws of the first Spinjitsu master like when frack was telling Arin to force himself to get what he wants

I have a theory that Ras doesn't actually know where Arin's parents are. He did say he was telling Arin the truth but he never specifically said 'Yes i do'. That's what confused me. Both times he simply dismissed the question. The first time he was asked, he said "Everything Jay Walker knows, I know". This could mean that Jay doesn't know either, and that is Ras' way of saying he doesn't know. The second time he's asked, he doesn't confirm, instead he says "I know a great many things Arin. I know the truth about this universe". I think that's why Ras hesitated before taking Arin's hand to help get back up. Ras seems to have overall good intentions but misguided executions. He never once said "I know where your parents are Arin". but rather dismissed his question by manipulating arin into thinking he knows.
about the spinjitzu of Arin, i was thinking of a type of spinjitzu between classic one and shatter spinjitzu. so a kind of half shatter spinjitzu. but, maybe the origin of those shatter patterns can be related to Arin's family past or something link to the realms merge. maybe Arin's spinjitzu is a key, or something like that.
In my opinion Arin isn't really evil he just wants to join someone who can actually make him improve and help him and find his parents and can actually save the world rather than being with ones who destroyed it and can know what is actually happening to it so in a way he is really a hero like ras and he actually might become the greatest ninja to ever live
Arin's spinjitzu tornado looks stronger than the other ninja's techniques. It could be that later in this series, Arin learns the dragon rising technique and becomes the most strongest ninja.

I think this as to achieve true, proper, pure spinjitzu you need to be harmonised with the earth and in motion of your surroundings and earth. So when Arin learns Spinjitzu off of Frack (Ras's teachings) he is doing spinjitzu by forces the world to be in his favour and to be in motion with him not him being in motion with the world. Therefore he is forceing the force if you like to bend into his favour, corrupting his spinjitzu which could he the fundamentals and the ground layer of how to do shatterspin. I think Arin will be an anti-hero in the next season, where he's only helping Ras because A: Lloyd and the other ninja has failed him so many times in finding his parents. and B: because Ras knows where Arin's parents are and he'll do *ANYTHING* to see them again/ reunite with them, what Ras is gonna have Arin do for him we don't know as of yet. I plan on waiting and avoiding episode names/ episode information until season 3 comes out next year because I want to see an "evil" Arin

i YELLED “crap he learned shatterspin” the moment i saw it, and honestly i still believe it… first off, he learned a FORCED way to do spinjitzu, so if it contains any evil/dark energy, we can easily blame it on the way he forced it to work. Second, RAS, not just anyone, but RAS (aka same guy who taught cinder how to do shatterspin) came up with the teaching. Ras was probably teaching phrak (frak?) how to do shatterspin so he could use the wolf mask (which he doesn’t use when he has the chance to defeat Sora). Phrak didn’t know the consequences of the wolf mask OR shatterspin (quite obviously as he only realizes once Arin tells him) so it’s somewhat safe to assume that whatever he taught Arin were the teachings to learning shatterspin. (Forcing the universe to your will, not going with the motion, etc.) anyways, just a small theory here :P

I feel similarly. I don't think that's shatterspin or a mix of Spinjitsu and shatterspin. I don't even think it's proper Spinjitsu. It's likely a corrupted form of Spinjitsu. After all Spinjitsu is supposed to be achived through harmony. But Arin forced his way into mastering Spinjitsu. He did not achive harmony instead he used force.
And by the way, Lord roz reminds me a lot of Lord Garmadon a little bit for example Lord roz is relentless and ruthless kind of like lord Garmadon and two Lord roz learned, forbidden secrets, kind of like a Garmadon did from the overlord from one of the earlier seasons of Ninjago the only differences, is Roz learned forbidden secrets from the forbidden fives temple

He can't learn Shatterspin. It was said that only Elemental Masters can learn Shatterspin. Arin has no Elemental Power. Unless he steals an Elemental Power from someone, somehow he cannot learn Shatterspin. That was confirmed in the books. Those literally spoiled that Wyldfire's power was heat before that got revealed in the show. (Yk when we all still thought it was fire like Kai's). And the Shatterspin thing with being Elemental Masters got confirmed in S2 Part 1 if I recall correctly.
I think it's the first step to learning proper shatterspin. As Lord Ras said back in season 2 part 1, shatterspin is a corrupted version of spinjitzu. So learning spinjitzu is a key element to unlocking shatterspin, but from a shatterspin master like Lord Ras. Therefore any spinjitzu taught by Ras, would be a hint corrupted and when used with the gong of shattering, will enable the person to use proper shatterspin.
The spinjitzu for every time he used it had some shatter spin effects so maybe the gong of shattering doesn’t destroy your goodness but enhances your power and force over the laws of the first Spinjitsu master like when frack was telling Arin to force himself to get what he wants

I have a theory that Ras doesn't actually know where Arin's parents are. He did say he was telling Arin the truth but he never specifically said 'Yes i do'. That's what confused me. Both times he simply dismissed the question. The first time he was asked, he said "Everything Jay Walker knows, I know". This could mean that Jay doesn't know either, and that is Ras' way of saying he doesn't know. The second time he's asked, he doesn't confirm, instead he says "I know a great many things Arin. I know the truth about this universe". I think that's why Ras hesitated before taking Arin's hand to help get back up. Ras seems to have overall good intentions but misguided executions. He never once said "I know where your parents are Arin". but rather dismissed his question by manipulating arin into thinking he knows.

about the spinjitzu of Arin, i was thinking of a type of spinjitzu between classic one and shatter spinjitzu. so a kind of half shatter spinjitzu. but, maybe the origin of those shatter patterns can be related to Arin's family past or something link to the realms merge. maybe Arin's spinjitzu is a key, or something like that.
In my opinion Arin isn't really evil he just wants to join someone who can actually make him improve and help him and find his parents and can actually save the world rather than being with ones who destroyed it and can know what is actually happening to it so in a way he is really a hero like ras and he actually might become the greatest ninja to ever live

Arin's spinjitzu tornado looks stronger than the other ninja's techniques. It could be that later in this series, Arin learns the dragon rising technique and becomes the most strongest ninja.

If this was Ras’ teachings maybe he learned it from his Master which could suggest that Ras’ Master may know spinjitzu and possibly Shatterspin.

I think Eran was doing shader spin from the beginning when he wanted to do sipinjitsu but was this the first form of shader spin and I think there are 3 forms of shader spin and Ras made him do shader spin training instead of sipinjitsu and Eran reached the 2nd form of shader spin and in the future seasons we will see Eran fighting the forbidden 5 while the forbidden 5 are about to harm Ras and Eran will reach the 3rd form of shader spin and will become a master of shader spin and will defeat the forbidden 5 while Eran is injured and cannot fight while the forbidden 5 are about to defeat Eran the ninjas come and save Eran and Eran apologizes to them and Eran is good again because Eran There is no evil inside eran and now instead of shader spin he does spinjitsu but there is also something like this eran was not transferring shader spin to an object but spinjitsu because a side feature of shader spin is transferring shader spin to an object and as you know in order to do shader spin you need to have an element power my theory about this is eran also got an element after the merge but eran has not discovered his power yet i think eran will research what the element power is in the 19th season

My theory is that Arin's spinjitzu does indeed have elements of Shatterspin. I think this as to achieve true, proper, pure spinjitzu you need to be harmonised with the earth and in motion of your surroundings and earth. However Ras was taught by his master that strength is everything so Ras's methods towards teaching Frack where purley strength based and through force. So when Arin learns Spinjitzu off of Frack (Ras's teachings) he is doing spinjitzu by forces the world to be in his favour and to be in motion with him not him being in motion with the world. Therefore he is forceing the force if you like to bend into his favour, corrupting his spinjitzu which could he the fundamentals and the ground layer of how to do shatterspin. I belive that this is how the forbidden five learnt Shatterspin, by bending the world to there favour.

I think Arin will be an anti-hero in the next season, where he's only helping Ras because A: Lloyd and the other ninja has failed him so many times in finding his parents. and B: because Ras knows where Arin's parents are and he'll do *ANYTHING* to see them again/ reunite with them, what Ras is gonna have Arin do for him we don't know as of yet. I plan on waiting and avoiding episode names/ episode information until season 3 comes out next year because I want to see an "evil" Arin

i YELLED “crap he learned shatterspin” the moment i saw it, and honestly i still believe it… first off, he learned a FORCED way to do spinjitzu, so if it contains any evil/dark energy, we can easily blame it on the way he forced it to work. Second, RAS, not just anyone, but RAS (aka same guy who taught cinder how to do shatterspin) came up with the teaching. Ras was probably teaching phrak (frak?) how to do shatterspin so he could use the wolf mask (which he doesn’t use when he has the chance to defeat Sora). Phrak didn’t know the consequences of the wolf mask OR shatterspin (quite obviously as he only realizes once Arin tells him) so it’s somewhat safe to assume that whatever he taught Arin were the teachings to learning shatterspin. (Forcing the universe to your will, not going with the motion, etc.)

I feel similarly. I don't think that's shatterspin or a mix of Spinjitsu and shatterspin. I don't even think it's proper Spinjitsu. It's likely a corrupted form of Spinjitsu. After all Spinjitsu is supposed to be achived through harmony. But Arin forced his way into mastering Spinjitsu. He did not achive harmony instead he used force.
And by the way, Lord roz reminds me a lot of Lord Garmadon a little bit for example Lord roz is relentless and ruthless kind of like lord Garmadon and two Lord roz learned, forbidden secrets, kind of like a Garmadon did from the overlord from one of the earlier seasons of Ninjago the only differences, is Roz learned forbidden secrets from the forbidden fives temple
