If "dishonest/unfair" is considered wrong/bad/evil, it logically assumes good exists, necessitating moral law to differentiate good/evil, necessitating moral law giver to judge by said law (the triune God); there’s no meaningful morality from a godless worldview of an unguided/blind/pitiless/indifferent universe (R.Dawkins) born from chance/chaos/nothingness/unknown/stardust (C.Sagan/L.Krauss) where a rock in the road is as valuable as a person, made from the same theoretical primordial material..... Just as an aside, as a kid I asked mom, don’t remember why, if she had a choice would she have gotten married and had my brother and I. She surprised me by saying no. Mom got married in 1954, she had my brother in 1956 and me in 1959. She said if she had a choice she would never have gotten married, she was 23, and had kids. That’s what you were supposed to do she said. Women were expected to get married. Never for men. My uncle never married. We will NOT go back to having kids if we don’t want them because we’re ”supposed to”. Nor was mom ever a stay at home mom. She always worked just like dad. As soon as my brother could walk and talk we went to nursery school, what today would be called child care. Both found it. It wasn’t all put on mom. There was no such thing in my family of who could answer boy stuff or girl stuff specifically. If I had a girl question and dad was home I’d ask him. He knew girl stuff. My brother had a boy question and dad wasn’t home yet he’d ask mom. She knew boy stuff. We could go to either. Puberty for either my brother and I was no big deal. We could go to either. When mom didn’t feel like going on school clothes runs, dad would. He knew all the fashions of either gender. When mom had an operation the cleaning lady had time off. Dad would cook, do housework, grocery shopping and work. The rare times he was sick he didn’t need mom hovering over him. Mom would be working and dad was home taking care of himself. Mom didn’t feel like so dad taught me how to do laundry. What does all that have to do with anything? My parents shared responsibilities, they were progressive. So abortion was no big deal with them. They both knew it was choice and they supported it. The greatest thing was that my brother and I were latch key kids before the word was invented. We had our own door key and when the cleaning lady left for the bus my brother and I waited for our parents to come home and didn’t need anyone to watch us during the week. We were taught to make our own decisions and we were supported. Even abortion.

In the Old Testament, the people who had "love feasts" were the ENEMIES of God.
@NUBIANS2009 and the demand to ban ALL abortins creates death.... Dont you folks claim Gawd gives you the Right to arm yourselves? What are guns used for? Ya roast marshmallows on the tip?
Answer: Yes. God is Life Itself. "I knitted you in the womb". The first human to recognize Jesus was Saint John the Baptist, when he jumped out of joy in his mother Saint Elizabeth's womb, in front of pregnant Virgin Mary.

This video is a re-upload. What I wrote on the original video was to identify that at 7:48 in Numbers 5 verse 28 you take an extremely literal reading that any woman undergoing this ritual can't be pregnant since verse 28 says that she may conceive, implying that during the ritual any woman would not have already conceived. But surely some of the women undergoing this ritual would have already conceived due to the adultery. So, since the penalty for adultery is infertility, as verse 28 tells us, and the process by which the woman becomes infertile is through bodily changes as described in verse 27, we can assume that any developing baby that came about through adultery would not survive these bodily changes intended to cause infertility. If you don't think that's correct, just elaborate on what you think happens to a developing baby in the scenario of pregnancy through adultery. But instead, most apologists just find a way to ignore this scenario.
Hmmm. I agree that "she will be able to conceive" doesn't imply that she hasn't already and is not currently with child. But... If she hadn't committed adultery she would be able to conceive in the future. If she had committed adultery she, it seems, would not be able to conceive in the future. That says nothing about the fate of the baby already conceived. That is speaking about the possibility of future conception, not the fate of a past conception (with gestation ongoing). There's no reason one must interpret the "swelling belly" and "rotting hip" as being things that would terminate the pregnancy.
We "ignore" this scenario because you're adding to Scripture by inserting hypotheticals that aren't there; it does not say or imply that the adulterous woman is pregnant, it isn't talking about an active pregnancy at all - like the person above me already explained. Believe it or not, this ritual was mostly meant to protect _women_ from abusive, overly jealous husbands. The ingredients used aren't actually harmful, just unpleasant to drink.. because - you know - who wants to drink hair & dust? A guilty woman would usually become afraid & admit her guilt before even going through with the ritual - but if she did go through with it & she was guilty, it wasn't the mixture that caused her "belly to swell & thigh to rot", it was God Himself. Therefore, even if your hypothetical scenario were correct, it would be God taking the baby & causing her to become infertile, not the mother, father or the Priest - like a miscarriage, not an abortion. God is allowed to play God because, well, He is God. We are not. We do NOT have the authority to take innocent life, so even adding your argument, the Bible still does not support abortion. I also highly doubt this hasn't been explained to you before. Whether you accept the Biblical argument is up to you, but it doesn't mean we're incorrect, ignoring this ritual or making excuses. If you don't believe the Bible, you're not going to be able to understand the Bible, that's the reality no matter how you feel about it. *1 Corinthians 2:14* (ESV) _"The natural_ *[meaning unbelieving/unspiritual]* _person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."_ *1 Corinthians 1:18* (KJV) _"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."_

Anyone who says the Bible is pro-life has not read the Old Testament. It’s full of bloodshed. Read Exodus 11 about killing babies. “4 So Moses said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well.”
The original language doesn't say "you shall not kill" it says "you shall not murder". The word taken from Aramaic and Hebrew can be more accurately translated, you shall not shed the blood of the innocent". Who are the most innocent? In a world of Adamic humanity the preborn are the innocent.

First of all abortion isn’t just for Poor. Myth one. Myth two is there’s no such thing as just before birth abortion. Third someone mentioned Medicaid. Well I did a search on that. Medicaid pays for abortion for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. It’s NOT for those who want one without those criteria. Abortion is health care just like vasectomies. Anyone have a problem about vasectomies that prevent kids from being born? Is that immoral to you? So you don’t want your tax dollars paying for abortions because of rape, incest or life of the mother? Or do you resent paying taxes into Medicaid because you just don’t like that Poor have no choice but to go on Medicaid? Abortion isn’t just a Poor thing! I had one in 1987 at 28. I was what my parents were called. Middle Middle Class. Middle Class took over that spot. Until I mentioned my abortion in 1987 NOT ONE of you paid for it. I got the bill. I had mine in a hospital. I paid the hospital bill NOT any of you. If you don’t approve of abortion don’t have one. Maybe you should worry more about people in credit card debt than abortion.

The Christian Bible may say life begins at conception, but the Torah clearly states that life begins at the birth of the child and it’s the Mother’s life is to be protected over an unborn child.
@@LiveActionFilms I did. I am not trying to disrespect the Christian faith. I find, though, your interpretation which disregard almost all leading Torah scholars disconcerting. The Bible had 14 books removed by the Roman Catholic Church in 1601, so the thing is a convoluted mess from beginning to end. There are 15 pre-existing religions that had a savior born of a virgin. So it is not even original, but a congregate of multiple pre-existing religions.
The Bible doesn’t have to explicitly say that you shouldn’t do something if that behavior is prohibited by moral PRINCIPLE. The Moral Principles of the Bible should be your guide as to what is right or wrong.

@GodSoLoved.Yeshua - God said a child has a soul AFTER the child is born, and he, God, breathes life into the child. That is after the child is no longer part of the woman by cutting the umbilical cord. After delivery, the doctor spanks the baby so it will take in that first breath of God. That is when God believes life and the soul begin. The argument centers on a very real emotional feeling that abortion is wrong, deep in our hearts. But, no one tries to get pregnant so they can have an abortion. I do hate the idea of abortion, but I will not take way the God given freewill of others and force my will on them. I will not usurpe the power of God by restraining another person in a sin free straight jacket that restricts the possibility of them committing any of humanities sins. A person who is stopped by force cannot receive redemption from God. Follow the teaching and example of Christ in order to help them find a way to avoid having an abortion. Jesus never forced anyone to reject their God given freewill because that is what defines our soul. Control of others does not deliver their redemtion.

Life is a gift from God. (Genesis 9:6; Psalm 36:9) He considers all life to be precious, including the life of a child in the womb. So if someone intentionally kills an unborn child, that amounts to murder.
That is greatly taken out of context and historical perspective. The Bible actually supports abortion in the Old Testament (in some situations) and it is never mentioned at all in the New Testament. If you are going to make up subjective claims, learn the historical meaning of the scriptures first.
I think it's funny that they're talking about pro-life. I don't see the Bible as being pro-life because of all the killing in it. Nor do I see God as being pro-life otherwise we would be living forever.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch this video. I stopped at the part where you said the Bible is 100% pro-life. I find it quite interesting that anyone can in good faith claim the Bible is 100% pro-life, when the Old Testament is rife with people being killed for actions that in modern, civilized cultures would never be considered worthy of the death penalty. For example killing of innocent women and children is promoted right and left throughout the Israelites’ conquests of the promised land. As a child, these violent battle stories greatly concerned me. I always imagined what if I had been born on the enemy side? I would have just been murdered in cold blood. Other stories were so disturbing as well. I found it horrific that when Achan stole some gold and hid it in his tent, not only did he die, but the giant hole that opened up in his tent swallowed his entire family, innocent children and babies included. By this logic, should Gold Bar Bob Mendendez be executed along with his entire extended family? When some youths made fun of a prophet, bears came out of the woods and ripped them to shreds. By this logic, should we unalive thousands of young people posting disrespectful things on TikTok about religious leaders? The Israelites were often told to take no captives, spare no one, slaughter everyone. How is this justifiable? (Although it certainly seems Netanyahu is stubbornly carrying on this Old Testament tradition in the present-day genocide in Gaza). The commandment “Thou shalt not kill” is largely ignored throughout the Old Testament and nobody seems to care about that. Look at all the things for which someone could be “put to death” in books like Leviticus. The Bible is a book that literally anyone can cherry-pick and find something that supports their views. And somehow, although there are millions of different interpretations of Scripture, each pundit believes that their interpretation is somehow the right one. It’s all so ridiculous. And whenever people have no reasonable defense for something that we all know deep down is indefensible, it is just glossed over with a trite “who can understand the mind of God” or “his ways are not our ways.” Oh, and some also say, we can just sort of ignore those extreme things in the Old Testament because Jesus ushered in a new era of “grace” in the New Testament. I’m not even arguing the abortion issue here. I’m merely saying, that it’s mind-boggling how anyone who has actually read the entire Bible can say it is 100% pro-life. And for those who intend to come at me in the comments, I have no intention of engaging with you. I’ve read through the entire Bible (KJV for those that are just dying to know lol) from cover to cover at least 4 times, and some of y’all “experts” haven’t even read most of it. I’m just gonna drop this comment here and walk away, and then y’all can waste your energy squabbling amongst yourselves. 😂
God killed David's newborn son as punishment for David committing adultery. God commanded the Israelites to kill their firstborn sons as a burnt offering in Exodus 22:28-29. Take that for what it's worth.
Yes. But spirits are not made as they are conceived. You left out the part in Jeremiah where God said to Jeremiah ‘’ I knew you before you were formed in the womb you were whole’’ I appointed you a prophet before the Nations.’’ that means God knew us before we were ever conceived and he appoints us our goal of our life ever before being conceived. Pretty cool.
Which is fine for people who put their faith solely on the Bible. To assume citizens of the US all should follow scripture is absurd. If your argument is that everyone should live their lives, and in this case, live other people’s lives according to the Christian Bible is very misguided. You want to be Pro Life, you have that right, FOR YOURSELF. PERIOD.

And that was for an accident because of being negligent, not intentional! Statistic’s show that as women age who have had an abortion that their conscience hurts them the rest of their life. If anyone should protect an unborn baby it should be its mother! That baby would adore its mother. Gods opposer blinds people into thinking taking an innocent life is a persons choice.

I can explain. It's all evil bs and people should be ashamed to share this hateful trash.
*1 Corinthians 2:14* (ESV)
_"The natural_ *[meaning unbelieving/unspiritual]* _person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned."_
*1 Corinthians 1:18* (KJV)
_"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."_
Keep in mind: Old Testament =Law. New Testament =Grace.

One of the 10 Commandments is “Thou Shalt Not Kill”. This is your answer.
I love the Karen's that come here to whine😂😂😂
Hello Karen, I find it really funny that those who are for killing Babies in the womb have already been born from the womb 😂
Your voice is very annoying and I love the Bible ❤. I just can't listen to you.
Genesis 2:7 God breathed life into man. This is in the torah. The Jewish Bible
It's also in the Bible and the Quran
Jewish law allows abortion. You know nothing.
The Bible is very clear on matters such as this read Psalm 139:13-16. We need to come UP to HIS STANDARDS, GOD DOESNT HAVE TO LOWER HIMSELF TO OURS.
The original language doesn't say "you shall not kill" it says "you shall not murder". The word taken from Aramaic and Hebrew can be more accurately translated, you shall not shed the blood of the innocent". Who are the most innocent? In a world of Adamic humanity the preborn are the innocent.
Christ went further though in what He taught against killing. He clarified and expanded the Commandments. Love each other. Much love.

Thou shall not kill is the only verse neede.
And to just ignore the other verses that say the opposite, which are commanded by God
... except for the Canaanites. And the first-born Egyptian sons. And...

The Christian Bible may say life begins at conception, but the Torah clearly states that life begins at the birth of the child and it’s the Mother’s life is to be protected over an unborn child.
You should watch the video.
@@LiveActionFilms I did. I am not trying to disrespect the Christian faith. I find, though, your interpretation which disregard almost all leading Torah scholars disconcerting. The 3 major branches of Judaism interpret a mother’s life above the unborn child. It’s difficult then to see how your interpretation holds when contrary to Jewish biblical scholars.
The Bible is silent on many things. You can cherry pick anything you wish to highlight.
Just because you can't hear doesn't mean it's silent.
The word "abortion" didn't exist 2,000+ years ago (it was first used in the 1500's), but that doesn't mean the Bible is silent on the matter - the 2nd commandment itself screams abortion is wrong.

i find it interesting that anytime something is declared that another person doesn’t like they say it’s just your opinion or interpretation instead of being interested in learning the the objective facts. the truth can’t be convenient only when you agree with it. people willing give into moral relativism instead of wanting to challenge their own premises and seek the most correct answer even when it disproves their initial beliefs.
The Bible says thou shall not kill is correct! I was once young and in the world and had to abortions which I regretted. I am a Christian now and I believe it reading the Bible and obeying God command. My grandson would not have been here if I did not encourage them and warn them that getting an abortion was murder. I thank God he’s 22 years oldand I always think back. I wish someone would’ve told me when I was young. That abortion was murder. Thank you for sharing.
At least you had a choice. Don't stop others from having their choice.
The Bible had 14 books removed by the Roman Catholic Church in 1601, so the thing is a convoluted mess from beginning to end. There are 15 pre-existing religions that had a savior born of a virgin. So it is not even original, but a congregate of multiple pre-existing religions.
Do you believe its alright for a girl, young woman, adult women who is attacked by evil, a rapist, she should be forced to keep the pregnancy?
Please watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/dUEomZ-O7t0/v-deo.html
I’m sorry but if it’s rape or incest then I understand women wanting to get an abortion. 🤷🏾♂️
It’s a holy book for you, not me. Stop pushing your religious beliefs onto others who DO NOT believe as you do.
Abortion is wrong on atheism too: ua-cam.com/video/x1zQySlFSUM/v-deo.html
The Bible doesn’t have to explicitly say that you shouldn’t do something if that behavior is prohibited by moral PRINCIPLE.
The Moral Principles of the Bible should be your guide as to what is right or wrong.

I can make the Bible say what I believe too. I’ve heard this crap before. Women have a right to choose!!
No one has the right to kill innocent human beings. whatisabortion.com
Where do those of us who don't practice Christianity land? The Bible should not dictate the laws in this country.
Life begins at breath
False, you're not, "unalive" before you exit the womb.
Human life begins at fertilization

Jeremiah 1
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Life is a gift from God. (Genesis 9:6; Psalm 36:9) He considers all life to be precious, including the life of a child in the womb. So if someone intentionally kills an unborn child, that amounts to murder.
Even if you don’t believe in God…how can you kill a baby and be proud of it?
Thou shalt not kill, it’s one of God’s commandments-- get it together people
Bible says that God HATES 6 things…includes the “shedding of innocent blood”….Proverbs 6
Life begins at first breath and ends at last breath! Yes, no.
That is greatly taken out of context and historical perspective. The Bible actually supports abortion in the Old Testament (in some situations) and it is never mentioned at all in the New Testament. If you are going to make up subjective claims, learn the historical meaning of the scriptures first.
Louder!
Religion and the Bible is complete bull.
Go preach LOVE, AND preach the GOOD NEWS and God's Forgiveness. Do Force people, Go talk to them about ABORTION 💪🙏
He quoted a verse that implies the human being he refers to in the womb exists before it is formed in the womb.
Yes. But spirits are not made as they are conceived. You left out the part in Jeremiah where God said to Jeremiah
‘’ I knew you before you were formed in the womb you were whole’’ I appointed you a prophet before the Nations.’’
that means God knew us before we were ever conceived and he appoints us our goal of our life ever before being conceived.
PERIOD.
Exodus 12:29
