    I absolutely grasp the $200 cost savings and love your videos. When I calculate the hours involved I could save money buying a new feeder with a warranty. I do however enjoy a project like this just so I can say I did it. Great explanation of how to do all of this. You deserve a lot more subscribers. You just got a new one today from me.

    Did you have any problems with that set cause that's what I want to do?What about clogging and moisture?

      No I'm still using it and it's running fine. Been more than a year since I made it and a couple weeks ago I was hog hunting over it. Got 2 hogs in that video if you're interested.

      Without funneling does the corn just sit at the bottom?

    This might be a stupid question but how do you fill it just get up on a ladder?

    Love the video brother, but my question is how the hell do you refill it with corn? Gotta tote a ladder out there to it and climb it with several bags of corn? Back the side by side up to it and stand in the back?

    • @TheWaterSwatters
      @TheWaterSwatters  3 місяці тому +1

      I have an A-frame ladder I leave out in the woods. Sometimes I use the bucket of the tractor or the bed of the pickup pulled along side

    Do you think ratchet straps and a 4 by 4 post would hold the feeder up with corn?

    • @TheWaterSwatters
      @TheWaterSwatters  Рік тому

      It would hold it up alright, but it might tip over easy. That real wide base makes it hard for the wind and critters to knock it over

      It has a lid on it. I haven't had a problem with the rain and I've been running it off and on for almost a year now

    If you want maximum penetration with those little arrows I think a magnus killer bee with no bleeders would be best. They zip thru everything like it's not even there. Love the channel brother.

      I'll have to look into those. Pretty sure I have 2 Montecs left after I use up those I'll have to try something else.

    Question: I need the feeder to feed when I'm not there. Is there a timer? Also, I found a bunch of barrels for 10.00 per. I think I should be less than $100.00 per.

    • @TheWaterSwatters
      @TheWaterSwatters  4 місяці тому

      Yeah the motor has a little computer that allows you to preset times this one has up to 4 and it will also let you set how long you want the feed plate to spin.
