- Join me on an EPIC day of boat fishing the Pacific Ocean outside of Homer, Alaska! My family and I caught tons of weird and cool fish, and I was lucky enough to catch a monster fish too! Fishing the ocean floor with jigs and soft plastics was a blast, the day was beautiful, and the ocean and mountain scenery near Homer, Alaska was incredible!

Yo Kev!! Yeah man, those fish down at the bottom basically just smell and feel vibrations, so I was knocking the ocean floor with the big jig, and added some bait for the smell part. It was definitely a blast. Thanks for watching, brother! 🙂✌️🎣

Very cool! My wife has three 100 lb halibut to her name there! I have yet to catch one! 🤙✌️🎣
Wow. 100 lbs. It was hard enough to reel in that 30. Like pulling a sheet of plywood up.
@@randybrodman3959 yeah I'm sure! I think my wife said it was about 30-40 minutes of fighting it up, gilling it, fighting it back up, gilling, repeat!
My friend who had a place up at Anchor point, once caught 1 off Kodiak, something like 280 lbs.
