Thought you might be interested in the DT&I #77 caboose in the scale section. You can see it over here in the Henry Ford Museum. Your grandkids might get a kick out of you having a caboose they can see in real life. That's why I'll be getting one. My kids will definitely like it for that reason. Plus, I have a DT&I engine that needs a caboose. They are hard to come by. The Detroit Edison scale switcher is temping. It is not to crazy expensive. The kids would probably get a kick out of Reddy Kilowatt on it's side. But, Santa just brought a Detroit Terminal R.R. switch. So, I probably will not get it. The kids think it is cool santa brought a train that ran were they have played in the park. What ever you get they will just be happy to do trains with grandpa.

The most popular Amtrak is the Siemens Charger? but what metric? I like the Charger too, but it doesn't hold up to the ACS-64 and Acela. The Northeast Corridor is the place to be!
In my opinion Lionel's 2024 Catalog is a flop. You should be saving up your money for the Lionel LionChief Plus 2.0 Denver Rio Grande and Western Gp7 from Last Year's Volume 2 Catalog. Also maybe wait until That Ford Crane Car goes on Sale.
Nice review Gary. The lionChief Plus engine look nice and the prices are reasonable. Can you apparat them with the Legacy Cabe 2 controller?
