There is a big red wire under the connectors just tap into that and when the led connect to the obd port it should produce the 12V. Will only work in key and when ignition is off it won’t to avoid the dreaded bmw battery drain. Hopefully this helps . THERE IS READ WIRE THAT CAME WITH THE STEERING BOX, run THAT RED WIRE TO TAP INTO THR MAIN RED 12V under the steering colum. You should be good after that !
@@antonijestanisa8565i slowed down the video and it seem like he connected to the red wire onto the extra black connector. the kit comes with a red wire (or blue) you connect that end into the black wire

where did the little black wire from the connector go to? you skipped that part? wasn't it suppose to tap into one of the new wheel module somewhere?
