Chris Hall It's probably because they're married & it's nice for people to do things for each other now & then. Take into consideration how little time Goku ever actually spends with Chi Chi and I think driving is the least he can do. Chi Chi (and Piccolo) raises his kids... he beats her by accident. Fair exchange.

what in that same blast and Bardocks powers even remotely hinted at being able to go back in time that far. Whis who is the most powerful known character in the series can only go back 3 minutes yet Bardock goes back centuries.

You can learn the moves of martial arts without training to become stronger. Like dance; dancing can make people fitter but that's not the goal of dance.

Training and getting teached how to use your powers that you are born into are 2 different things it wouldnt take long at all for his father/brother.
His power level was measured just after he was born. that doesent mean he cant get more out of his lsj when he is in trouble.

There can be various reason: he is old, he might have been working on it, he didnt want to get involved into fights and let his androids do the work due to his knowledge about the z fighters.
Maybe he wanted to keep as much of his humanity as possible to be able to think straight, well i dont think somebody could have given him orders like to any other android if he keeps it.

Evil Buu absorbs Majin Buu = Super Buu
Super Buu loses Majin Buu = Kid Buu
It wasn't Majin Buu who Vegeta took from Super Buu; it was one of the Supreme Kais whom Buu had absorbed.
It was because he returned to his original form which is kid buu
When Buff Buu (Kid Buu + Supreme South Kai) absorbed Grand Kai, he gained all of the Grand Kais passive tendancies, but when that Buu split into two, and the Evil Buu absorbed the Good Buu, the Evil Buu's personality and traits took dominance over Good Buu, who was in control before.

Acquadelic Kid Buu is the original Buu fat Buu is the result of Kid Buu absorbing south Supreme Kai and grand Kia. Super Buu is evil Buu absorbing fat Buu. So it makes sense for Super Buu to go back to Kid Buu after he loses all of the beings he absorbed.
Acquadelic what some people believe is that the DNA of evil Buu, which was a strange mutation of evil was mutated and transformed permanently when he absorbed fat buu.
Thought of two more plot holes.
1. During the battle with Nappa, when Yajirobe is being interviewed by the news media, he gives the names of the Z Fighters as "Earth's Special Forces" who are fighting the Sayians. He is then asked if Goku will be joining them. The whole world seems to remember who they are from the World Martial Arts Tournament several years earlier. Now fast forward five years to the Cell Games. The whole gang is shown on live TV just like with the fight against Nappa, and yet no one seems to know who they are. Even Goku gets booed. So what gives? Surely people would remember the boy who defeated King Piccolo and won the last World Tournament. That was like 12-15 years earlier. It's not ancient history.

Dillon Haggett Really? Tapion came to Earth after Buu, and Hirudegarn could only be killed by Super Saiyan 3 Goku. There was no one powerful enough to defeat the Future Androids, and the Androids from the main timeline were even stronger. If Wrath of the Dragon came out to explain how Future Trunks got his sword, they would be wrong.
When Mr popo said that only 2 people can be in the hyperbolic time chamber but in the buy saga 3 people or even 4 if you count the fusion with Gotenks but Piccolo was there with Super Buy counted 3 people and I have not heard if the z warriors or the guardian and popo changed that.

Tony Koonce No when only two people is in there, time flies differently (1 day = 1 year) but when there are more people, time is as on earth. That's why when buu left through a dimension hole it is said that gotenks and piccolo went out shortly after
In the saiyan saga Tien Krillin Yamcha and Chotzu go in all at once

Gotenks had seperated and fused in the time chamber before coming out to face buu. during this time the time would,ve reverted back to normal because there would,ve been 3 of them but they came out only "seconds" after buu. If they came out after 10 seconds that would've been an hour in the time chamber where they could defuse and fuse again the time doesnt depend on the amount of people
For number 5:
Cell can only regenerate because of his Namekian cells. Piccolo stated in the Buu Saga that, so long as the head is in tact, he could still regenerate. Cells entire body, including his head, was gone after his self destruct, but he still came back. Anyone else spot the problem?
My best guess is that Cell is like the Thing of Dragon Ball.

However, given that this comment is eight years old and given that I'm definitely not the only one to have noticed this. I've had some time to think about it and honestly I think the best head cannon that I can come up with is that it Cells design to not only have the genes of the Z fighters but then make them better, so like he has Piccolo's regeneration only better, Saiyan Zenkai's only better (self inflicted damage wasn't supposed to count towards Zenkais but he blew himself up and came back in his Perfect form with near-SSJ2 levels of power) but it's really just a headcanon

I believe that the true origin of Trunks sword is THE biggest plot hole in all of DBZ
Really? When all the Z fighters were brought back after Goku fought Frieza they were immediately transported to the location of the dragon balls. Goku and Piccolo, on the other hand, weren't. If Goku was, it would have prevented the entire Namek saga from happening because Nappa wouldn't have killed anyone, including Piccolo, who was the reason why they went to Namek in the first place.
From this point, two things could've happened. Either Frieza would have come to Earth, or they would have never even met him. In either situation the series would be fucked because either Frieza would immediately kill all the Z Fighters and blow up earth after his wish. Or they would never meet Frieza meaning no Super Saiyans, zenkai boosts, or Vegeta, meaning the androids would mop the floor with everyone just like in Trunks' timeline.

What? Goku fought Frieza IN the Namek saga.
Goku can't breathe in space? What was he doing fight Birus in space?
+Teiichi Kun Goku and many other characters like Vegeta can survive in the high atmosphere of a planet. But not in the vacuum of space hence why Goku was in a rush to get off planet Namek after Frieza threw a death ball into the core. Goku was more concerned with no being able to breathe than survive the explosion. After all a few episodes later Trunks could literally catch the ball with one hand and prevent it from blowing up the Earth.
X Moore Most fans have come to the conclusion that Frieza was bluffing. BoG, written by Akira Toriyama, confirmed canon, shows Goku and Birus in space. That was not high atmosphere, that was literally space.

About the goku going to the moon he wouldn't of transformed as it isn't the moon it self that makes saiyans transform because vegta explains that it's actually an energy called blutz waves made by the moon reflecting the Sun's light

I'm not 100% sure on this part so I left it out my original post but if I remember right the blutz waves are made by the sun reflecting Off the moon but also after that reflected light enters the atmosphere of the planet, I know when vetga made that fake moon he needed the earth's atmosphere to make the blutz waves

dragon ball has thousands of things that are inconsistent but one thing that you got wrong is about the moon, in dragon ball z it's stated that the moon is full because it's reflecting of blutz energy so if he went to the moon it would not turn him unless it was visible and full

During the last season of dragon ball, Goku said that they could restore the moon by removing his tail, which was probably a permanent removal.
And I remember one specific thing:
jackie chun (roshi) did it because his fight with goku lasted long enough for the moon to come out. So he destroyed it to turn Goku back.
The reverse wolf man wasn't until later, where he was furious at roshi because he had destroyed the moon, so now he could never become a human during full moon again and be with pretty laides
Roshi then hypnotized him to make him think that krillins head was the full moon. Dunno how that fixes anything tho. What happens when krillins head is no longer in sight?
But the moon was restored during dragon ball. That's why it's back in Z.

I may not be the sharpest knife in the crayon box but I do recall a moment where Dende states that Namekians do not require food intake but then when Chi Chi orders Goku and Picollo to get a drivers license and threats both of them with the threat of not serving food Picollo seems to feel threatened. In Dragon Ball revival of F, frieza is revived with the dragonballs, however it is stated earlier in the dragon ball series that no one can be revived by the dragon balls if one year has passed, Frieza however was still revived.
Captain Haythem 1 year limit is with multiple ppl only.
But for single person, there is no limit

Cristiano Ronaldo Common misconception. People who have been dead for over a year cant be revived in large groups.
In the Majin Buu Saga, Piccolo states that he can regenerate himself if his heads isn’t injured, therefore he can survive pretty any attack. However, in the Saiyen Saga he gets killed by Nappa with an attack that didn't damage much his head.
Those are all pretty small plot holes in my opinion. There are two about the hyperbolic time chamber that boggle my mind.
The first one being when Goku entered the chamber with Gohan for the first time and when he told him he used to train there as a kid. But the hyperbolic time chamber has almost the same gravity as King Kai's planet (10x Earth's gravity). And given how he barely walked on the planet, I doubt he was able to even move a finger as a kid in the chamber.
The second one is that you can only spend two days in the chamber, yet Piccolo went there three times. He spent his two days in the Cell Saga and he entered it again in the Buu Saga with Trunks and Goten. In the end, they did manage to get out thanks to Gotenks, but what if they weren't able to create that portal and the door was still there? I think it's just something that slipped through Akira's mind. Like so many things have. He even stated that his fans know more about DB/Z than he does. So it's not really that big of a surprise.

Another plot hole from the anime, Vegeta states that a Saiyan's hairstyle does not change throughout their entire lifetime, but in the Bardock special it was shown that Nappa had hair.

Udbhav Kharad His hairstyle doesn't change. If you were to shave your hair bald, i'm sure your hair would grow back again in the same form (if it was naturally cut before anyway). Basically, their hair isn't magically stuck to their head. Its not like its IMPOSSIBLE to cut Goku's hair. Just, their hairstyle doesn't grow anymore after a certain length and it doesn't change.
What about vegetas hair in gt
Joe Stinson in dragon ball, someone (i think bulma) tried to give goku a hair cut, but it kept growing back very quickly to its original
I always wondered why in the future timeline they don't get to train in the hyperbolic time chamber and why was Gohan so weak considering that he fought the androids multiple times which means he must've also gotten zenkai boosts
it says in the series that they're limited on the amount of time they can spend in the time chamber.
@@andyrew932 @MattBG67 wrong, the reason that Future Gohan and Future Trunks specifically never used the Room of Spirit and Time is because when Goku died, he took the knowledge of the Room with him. Also, when Piccolo died, Kami died too, so it's my belief that Popo just stayed up there. But again, as Gohan and Trunks were the only heroes of that timeline, and only Goku knew about the room (because in the present, he only told everyone about the room after he recovered from the virus), Gohan would have never known about it.
Glacier We seen Goku connect with Gohan in death. He could have easily told them about the hyperbolic time chamber. And he could have easily came down to earth for one day just like he did in the buu saga

As for the Saiyan Saga death of Kami, it was his first death and the goal was to revive Kami anyway. In the Future Androids Saga, it was his second death and New Namek was far away and hidden, so I doubt Popo would have been likely to come down. The other thing is that KAMI can see/feel things from the lookout, but I'm not sure if POPO has that ability

my top 10 plotholes would be why do the characters never try wishing a character immortal/indestructible when faced with a problem instances include wishing that upon goku during the frieza arc. If the character doesn't want it couldn't they just wish the wish away.
Why didnt the characters wish for faster growing senzu beans.
Why did goku think he was to blame for the saiyans RRA and frieza when each of those groups tried attack earth without him being a reason RRA just got stopped by him, the saiyans sent him to destroy earth that setting up their only reason for wanting to destroy earth and those guys worked for frieza
why dont the characters ever wish for an easy cure for diseases this comes up as more relevant during goku's disease. Could they not wish for the knowledge for the cure.
I understand gokus reasons behind avoiding earth after he would of destroyed an upper figure in an empire as that might bring a retaliation strike to earth that might not of happened but 2 plotholes here. Why doesn't he talk through Kai to his family and then after that why aren't the skills he learnt taught immediantly to him or some z warrior such as piccolo. Then his family could visit him or vice versa.
Also why didnt the crew immediately try to learn the location of new namek. They hold kami's (lets not forget kami never got the chance to see his people because of this) and piccolo's people and they also might of been attacked in retaliation to frieza's defeat not mention they should have prepared ahead of time for a new guardian

Marcus Hamm characters out acting out of character is an example of a plothole for example there are several characters such as piccolo not to mention the wise guardian of earth and popo and more and are characterized to be clever or wise thus it only makes the fact the characters dont use the dragon balls creatively or at least with thought behind them more relevant(i mean for goodness sake they use a wish to bring piccolo to namek).This isnt like bringing up why vegeta didn't wish for immortality after the namekian saga since it was clear he would otherwise have to fight piccolo who just fused with nail and was stronger than vegeta or find new namek two clearly implied reasons why he wouldnt do something the plot would otherwise demand from his character until he got over wanting immortality.
Actually vegeta became stronger than piccolo after krillin nearly killed him and dende healed him. He was the only one who could follow friezas attacks. Vegeta wanting immortality was only due to him wanting to kill frieza mainly and afterwards became pointless because since he thought frieza and goku died on namek, he thought he was the strongest in the universe now. As for your first comment, no one wants immortality and wishing that upon goku and goku accepting it with his fight with frieza would contradict his character. He wouldn't want to use the dragon balls to give him such a big advantage in a fight that he could win on his own.The wish for faster growing senzu beans is probably something that is beyond shenrons power to grant. It seems simple enough but I don't think he can grant something time related like speeding up somethings growth (the senzu beans) or going back in time (not that they've wished that). Goku blaming himself for the arrival of the saiyans and frieza are understandable. Raditz came to earth in search of goku and how all that played out led to vegeta and nappa coming as well. Frieza came to earth for revenge against goku. As for the cure for disease, they had a cure already for gokus heart disease and as smart as bulma is and her father, they probably know the properties to make the cure by examining the substance. It was future bulma who created it, right, so it shouldn't be a problem for present bulma. As for the 2 plotholes you mentioned after the retaliation strike thing, I'm not getting what you're saying. As for them knowing where new namek was, they already knew where it was since goku used instant transmission there to get dende. That was through king kai I think but they could always do that. If new namek was getting attacked then king kai would inform goku about this and goku would go there. They didn't know they would need a new guardian because they didn't think piccolo and kami would fuse back together again risking the existence of the dragon balls since piccolo was now the guardian and he would always step in a fight risking his life if he knew it would help. He wouldn't just lay back on the lookout like kami did.

the heart medicine got developed after it would of been useful Aka when goku died in the future timeline thus preventing goku from dying in the orig timeline by say wishing for the dragon to advanced human knowledge in medical fields as far as possible (or at least in some form) still comes up as question in the logic of the plot that needs answering beyond . and immortality being an easy single win could theoretically work on any character except goku and vegeta and situationally others (still leaving multiple candidates). time related issues could be solved by simply saying the dragon couldn't do that due to the many possible ways toriyama limits the dragon's power (same could be said with easy win immortality for example simply not allowing the dragon to wish away immortality and it's not that they arent really used that is the issue it is that alot of wishes like this are never brought up when they seem to deserve mention).
i said they should of found new namek earlier for a multitude of reasons it comes up. the death of piccolo gets brought up in the future timeline and situation where they couldnt look for namek comes up when trunks mentions the future timeline, kami didnt exactly have a backup guardian, and there are even more reasons than the immediate practical ones like they are the source of ties to the life kami had before splitting with piccolo and this one is important it took all the way to the cell saga for them to find new namek also saying king kai would warn them is kinda shaky considering king kai didnt even know where it was when he started looking or that king kai could have talked to the people in the future timeline informing of new nameks location which is hinted agaisnt by trunks saying they didnt have access to the dragon balls because piccolo died and the crew already had massive ftl spaceships (that could at least ferry passengers from earth to new namek) even if they couldnt teleport.
Raditz came to earth suspecting it to already be destroyed by goku, goku's refusal to destroy earth is what caused their fight thus as i was saying the saiyans alliance against earth was caused before goku got involved and the only reason goku got involved was because of it not mention raditz probably would of destroyed earth in goku's stead if goku was dead then ironically in revenge. Veggie and Nappa came in revenge and to take the dragonballs and were already agaisnt earth for the same reasons as raditz to boot. Frieza headed to namek and started killing namekians to find immortality which he found out about because veggie and nappa let their transmitters deliver the message(something they are at fault for more than anyone else and they did it on accident). Frieza headed back to earth to find goku cause goku stopped him in the first place and goku wasn't even there how differently would have this situation played out if goku was just dead in the first place.
Plot Hole = Vegeta said that a sayins hair dosent change from the day they ware born! But Nappa is shown to had hair but now then he was bold!

Well, it's been touched on by a couple of people, but Dragonball & Z are extremely inconsistent when it comes to breathing in space. It's stated several times that saiyans can not breath/survive in space but we have several examples..

>> Goku fighting Beerus in space... even when his God Ki had run out.

Personally the odd inconsistency doesn't bother me as the manga had a quirky sense of humour which allowed odd things to happen.
Dende made the dragon balls grant 2 wishes but in canon movies like Battle of Gods and Revival of Frieza the dragon only grants 1 wish then leaves.
Also the dragon brings Frieza back in pieces but we seen the dragon revive Future Trunks who got blasted through the chest by Cell back without a hole in the chest. Same with people who Cell and Majin Vegeta killed.

The dream can be simply explained that he had a dream of cell killing his loved ones and the only reason it looks identical to cell is to not cause confusion among viewers. If they were to give him an alternate form and state that this was cell people may be annoyed that the form is never used ever again or confused viewers who didn't understand it was him and/or viewers watching it without context. In my opinion a silhouette of cell would've been the right choice however using cell makes perfect sense here.
Tldr: Cell looks like cell in the dream in order to not confuse the viewer and actually what gohan sees ( he would just see a monster)

Thomas Houghton Cell wouldn't be able to move his nucleus because he isn't composed of any DNA that would grant the ability. Even then Cell detonated a megaton bomb in his chest that should have vaporized his body from the inside out. Truth be told the only reason the things played out the way they did was because the series editors kept changing their minds on how to end the saga.
To be fair, the whole Cell plothole with the nucleus thing was fixed in the Funimation dub when he stated that as long as a single cell of his survived, he could regenerate. (Which imo gives greater meaning to his name, Cell)

I don't think that really counts as a plot hole so much as that maybe she just wanted Goku to be, or at least act, a little more "normal". Nokty I think it comes from super endurance, kinda like Hercules (I actually mean the greek one here) running a marathon in a single breath of air kinda endurance. We've seen them throw hundreds of punches and move great distances in a blink of an eye which would take alot of energy, but their endurance is so high from using their Ki to augment their bodies that while they do still need oxygen to live, they can go with out or with very little for extreme lengths of time.

Saiyans are shown many MANY times to be able to hold their breath for timespans longer than that of a human. Good examples are the battles Goku and Vegeta have fought while submerged in water as well as by Bardock just before Frieza annihilated him and everyone on Planet Vegeta, where he fought IN SPACE. The problem when Goku was in space after Namek exploded was that he had no air source to retreat to once he couldn't hold his breath any longer.
As for not turning into an ape when he sent those villains to the moon via his Power Pole: It is the LIGHT of a FULL moon that triggers it, not the presence of a moon in general. Every DragonBall fan I've ever seen knows at least THAT much.
Gohan actually doesn't kill 8 Cell Jr's in the manga. Also in the manga i don't remember seeing Frieza or any of the other villains in hell, until Revival of F ruined it... The one about Cell regenerating is also not an issue in the manga, what Tien said about Goku is also not in the manga. Most of this issues were made by the animators.

Sumean I don't live in the USA lol. And in the English manga he doesn't state that he needs his head to regenerate he states that their is an organ inside of his head that he needs to regenerate. Obviously Goku never destroyed it, that's the only explanation, maybe he knocked it into his body but either way Cell survived just fine. If the lump(organ Cell was referring to could survive point blank a planet destroying blast then obviously it is durable enough to survive Goku's kamehameha any day of the week and Cell lost his head when he exploded as well. In the anime Cell just points to his head an gives a shitty vague explanation leading people to believe he requires his head specifically to live.
The one with Goku going to the moon isn't necessarily a plot hole in terms of him not turning into Oozaru. It only happens during a FULL moon. The moon could have been at any other phase in it's orbit at this point.

About Chi Chi getting Goku to drive, it makes sense if you think about it, Chi Chi is obsessed with them living a normal life, getting jobs, going to school, so it would actually make sense for her to insist on Goku learning to drive because it's normal to know how to drive and people could argue it's part of being a normal adult and a functioning member of society
Part 4 has some more inconsistencies. After Piccolo (the first) was defeated, Goku was instructed to put the power pole at the top of Korin's tower and extend it "as far as it would go". It took a very long time to reach Kami's lookout, but it was stated that that's the limit of the pole's reach. So either Goku DIDN'T take monster carrot's gang to the moon or someone lied about the pole.
A side note, Goku would only turn Oozaru at a FULL moon. If it wasn't full then it doesn't matter how close he got to it.
Goku , Vegeta and Gohan are born with tails, but Goten and trunks are not.
MalikJC Akira Toriyama (Creator of Dragonball) stated that Goten and Trunks tails were removed at birth. Its never explained in the anime or manga, but whatever the creator says happened, happened.
I remember hearing somewhere that Akira Toriyama himself commented on that saying that the tail is a recessive trait in a Saiyan-human hybrid, causing it to be a somewhat rare (25%) occurrence in people like that. My memory isn't very good on things like this though so the person before me may be right.

With the Chi Chi plot hole, I always assumed that chi chi was driving her dad's car illegally in a fit of rage of Gohan not studying, not the best reasoning, bit it was funny to imagine it that way as a kid
Tien considers his realization during the 26th tournament his "awakening". He feels that it was when he was taken under Roshi's wing that he truly became a martial artist, and not just a well-trained killer. And it was also since then that he saw Goku as his goal.
That last one with Chi-Chi reminds me of another, which she is shown madly driving to Roshi's house, and then we simply never see her arrive there. She rightfully is wondering where her husband and son have disappeared to (dead and training at this point) but we just never get any followup of her confronting Roshi about it at the very first logical place to look. Krillin is tasked with breaking the news to her but he never has the guts to do it, and the next time we see Chi-Chi she's just hanging out at home wistfully wondering where her boys have gone when Gohan almost goes back home but decides to turn back to continue training.
There might be an explanation for the first one. The difference between the situations mentioned are that in the cases where it is stated that you cannot die a second time, it is always refering to dead people IN the Otherworld. While in Vegeta's case, he was dead but came in the living world. So, by that logic, we can assume that you cannot die again if you are in the world of the dead, but you can die again if you are in the world of the living (with a halo)
Many people may not see this, but the fact that Gohan had a Nightmare of Cell killing his loved ones just reflects how sometimes dreaming can do CRAZY things. It's like when you have a dream of something and it actually happens. In this kind of the Context, Gohan has a dream on what would happen if he didn't become a super saiyan 2.
Cell " Each cell in my body must hold a memory of my former self"
Cell says this when he realizes that he can regenerate off any cell rather than just a nucleus. He too was shocked that when he said "Came back from the brink of extinction, It was then I realized that each cell in my body must hold a memory of my former self, each one programmed to make me whole again"

Gt is half canon, toriyama stated that its just more or less a alternate timeline, canon is something that doesn't fit within the timeline, like tree of might movie. GT fits within it, but with botG and Super coming out, its just a alternate timeline now.

The cell one was later corrected in the redub by Funimation in the orange brick dvds. He states that as long as one cell of him survives he can then regenerate.
I don't know if this really counts as a plot hole but has anybody else notice how from the Sayian to Cell Sagas they kept bringing up that Sayians get stronger the more they get injured and the more battle experience they have, but in the Buu Saga they kept healing themselves after Buu kept fucking them up yet they didn't improve at all and had to resolve to Fusion and the Spirit Bomb

In dragon ball super, in episode 67 I think, Gohan said that the medicine from the hospital could not cure pan's flu because of her saiyan blood. But, after the battle with vegeta in the saiyan saga, Goku recovered just fine in wukong hospital. PLOT HOLE!!!

The most biggest plot hole in my opinion, is the inconsistency with weights and force power. While fighting Freeza on Namek, Freeza throws "island"-size rock at Goku that he tries to resist and isn't hurt after being sandwitched between a mountain. We see throughout dragonball how every one is being bashed through buildings and cliffs without effort but somehow they get hurt eventually even though they are at some points comparently 10 or 100 and more times stronger and tougher than before. Goku having the need to go super saiyan to train with 40 tons was a joke I can't comprehend today. This is why powerlevels are bullshit. But it's not the powerlevels them selves that make it bullshit, but the value of inconsistencies Toriyama or the fillers make it have no sense. That really pissess me off, cuz I love dbz, but there is just so much braindead things about it it just sad -.-

The Cell regeneration plot hole is simply a difference in depiction for different enactments such as different regions, dubs and from remastering such as Dragonball Z Kai. But in the original funimation american dub where bruce faulconer's soundtracks are the explanation for Cell regeneration to super perfect cell is different, it states that every cell in his body has a life of its own and holds all memory of his former self and each cell acts as the core in which Cell needs to regenerate.
The Cell Jr.'s were an animating mistake not a plothole. Big difference between the two.
How about the parallel story about Goku's escape from Namek (one where he screams himself to death upon getting blown up or when HE says he was still in the ship and saw another ship that was falling from the sky)?

On the topic of cell's regeneration. Piccolo states in the buu saga, after trunks shattered him as a statue, that he can regenerate as long as his head isn't damaged. So if Cell's regeneration is based off that, shouldn't having his upper body blow off and have been completely annihilated except for a few random cells finish him off? I guess it could be theorized that Dr. Gero improved upon Piccolo's genetic structure, but again it's a bit of stretch.
Another issue with the Dragonball Powerpoll thing, it was implied that the Powerpole could only stretch far enough to reach Kami's lookout from the top of Korrin's tower, as the pole was built for that purpose, I don't know about you, but I'd think the moon was further from earth than Kami's lookout.
also, they state during the android saga that only two people can enter the hyperbolic time chamber at once, but then during buu saga we see goten, trunks, piccolo, and buu all in there at once
The cell thing waits gohan was because gohan had sense cells energy before and that has been shown throughout the saga that that can determine what he looks like
Ok here's a plothole,remember when surpreme Kai and the z fighters followed yamu and spokevich to babidis spaceship,Dabura plots a attack on the z fighters,how didn't piccolo hear him say this?
You mentioned that Gohan was able to see Cell in a dream even though he never saw Cell, but the same thing happened to Goku when he was sick with the heart virus and he had a dream about android 17 and 18 even though he had never seem them either. Maybe it's just a gift they have.
Not sure if this was already mentioned, but this is probably the biggest plot hole/inconsistency in the entire series in my opinion.
When everyone who was killed in the Saiyan Saga were wished back to life, they were instantly transported to where the dragon balls were. They even had to use a second wish to bring Piccolo to Namek when he was brought back.
Goku wasn't transported either back in the Saiyan Saga when he was wished back. If he did, like everyone else, then it would have completely changed the series as the time it took to get to the battle from King Kai's planet was when Piccolo was killed, causing the trip to Namek in the first place.
that "inconsistency" of gohan dreaming with cell could not a dream but a premonition
