Mancera Holidays came out the same year as TF Soleil Blanc although I’m not sure which came first. However Montale (which is the sister company to Mancera) came out with a fragrance called Intense Tiare which is very similar to Holidays and Soleil Blanc but that came out way before them. It came out in 2005. Additionally, Maison Margiela came out with a fragrance called Beach Walk and that’s also similar but that came out in 2012 so still way before the Mancera holidays and TF Soleil Blanc. Mancera is not a dupe house but they do have some fragrances that are similar to other popular fragrances. Hope this helps!

Mancera is a French powerhouse the openings are literally a punch in the nose sometimes in a good way I have this one and I love it. This house is not for everyone but it’s for me . 😂 please review more from this house.
Hi Aaron, I recently got your discovery Kit. I must say that most of the fragrances I tried so far are really good. The one I like the most so far is oxytocin. That one has a really good chance at becoming my signature scent.

Mancera Holidays was released before Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. Tom Ford itself has its fair share of copies.
I’m really disappointed by this reviewer. I respected him until, today. He’s lazy. He needs to do his research thoroughly.

Absolute best reviewer and perfumer in the world. This guy wakes up in the morning and pisses pure excellence. Other reviewers need to take notes because this is how you do it.

I have 12 Manceras (and 11 Montales), Cedrat Boisee smells a *bit* like Aventus, but is clearly doing its own thing, Red Tobacco smells a *bit* like some other famous tobacco fragrances, but does its own thing. Holidays, I've never smelled the Tom Ford, but it is probably my longest lasting fragrance in my collection. Instant Crush is clearly inspired by BR540, but again, goes its own direction and really doesn't smell like a clone side by side. Precious Oud and Amber Fever also have that BR540 vibe but with other notes in to differentiate them (Precious Oud is amazing and boozy). Aoud Lemon Mint is another Mancera highlight and seems to just be its own thing, as does Black Gold. Overall, not a dupe house, but they take inspiration about half of the time. Montale are for the daring though. Aoud Cuir d'Arabie is perhaps the most "out there" with its barnyard oud and goat leather vibe, I'd highly recommend trying that one out, it's really quite startling (and layers well with Montale Black Musk, a kind of musk and leather fragrance).

I only have one Mancera but Red Tobacco came before PDM Herod and I believe Holidays came before TF Solei Blanc.

Red tobacco is similar to PDM Carlisle not herod and it did come after it.
Actually, Tom Ford created a fragrance for Estee Lauder around 2006 called Azuree Soleil. When he left Estee lauder they rebranded/renamed it Bronze Goddess and ever so slightly reformulated as they do soooo...when Tom got his own line he took essences of his original perfume he created for Estee Lauder Azuree Soleil and named it Soleil Blanc.

One of my favourite fragrances ever is a Mancera fragrance (Pierre Montale created Mancera 7 years ago exactly if I'm not mistaken).. and I recommend you to review Aoud Vanille 💛

It's not at all a dupe Brand 😅

Aaron, how much does a good sprayer cost when creating fragrances in bulk because the amount of different bottles that I have with very poor quality sprayers is both disappointing and annoying. It is like the one thing the creator of the fragrance needs to get right in my opinion.

I have tryed this one like few hours in perfume store, long lasting projection but linear, all I smell is silver lime(basswood) tre flower honey, like dead on like honey from flowers of that tree

Aaron, can you please consider reviewing Eau Sauvage edt by Dior? I'm also wondering if you know what the older generations smelled like. From what I know about the fragrance, it was reformulated and the heart of the original fragrance is not in the current reformulation.

A lot of the top Mancera scents are definitely inspired by popular scents, but they aren't clones. This one doesn't smell like the Tom Ford if you smell them side by side at all, but I can see how they are similar. However, Holidays is my most complimented scent ever. Many other people have said the same thing. Once it becomes summer and you wear it is when everyone around you is blown away by it. It's so strong too that people for sure will smell you.
Mancera Aoud Cafe is one of my favorite coffee gourmand. Red Tobacco is an amazing sweet Oriental fragrance.
Mancera and Montale get lots of stick for being synthetic and a clone house.
In my opinion they produce daring, huge projecting, long performing, compliment getting fragrances.
For sure my favourite house..just dropped a top 10 favourites from the house with Jardin exclusif and instant crush my favourites. Would love to hear your thoughts from more from this house.
This one is yummy, I like it :-) Aarons should test all they have, this house is a pure goldmine :-) He loved Red Tobacco, lots more where that comes from :-)

Hey Aaron, you really have to try Aoud Blue Notes - my absolute favorite Mancera!
I have it. Smells like blueberry Skittles or blueberry candy.
I fond Manceras usually quite unique but understand the Soleil Blanc comparison. Great performers usually and amazing value at discounters but can be a little sharp and synthetic. Montale I find to be the same.
Mancera Aoud Vanille is one you should check out Aaron!
Not a big fan of Holidays. But I love Aoud Lemon Mint and Red Tobacco by Mancera!

@@mohkamaltaha Its lovely. I've been wearing it everyday ever since I bought it (I also bought a much expensive Roja Elysium but I wear this one all the time instead - makes you wonder eh?).
Some people might not like the opening, just like Red Tobacco but the dry down is to die for!

@@spark556 not at all. I own both and i prefer cedrat boise in it’s dna, it lasts longer and it’s way cheaper/better value for money. Also cedrat boise has gotten me more compliments. Cheap aventus copy is a clueless reach.

But I think we all know Aaron won't appreciate the DNA, even if excellently crafted. So maybe a review of it is not something we need really 😂

Intense Cafe is pretty nice, as well as that Cedrat Bois.

Mancera is a great entry level niche house with countless offerings at reasonable prices. I own 11 bottles and sampled many more. Never tried holidays but the note breakdown kinda steered me away. Thanks for the review tho

I've been trying to find a good summer coconut scent for a while now. I tried this scent and I really liked it but it was too feminine for me. My gf now wears this in the summer, and my hunt continues. The current leader is Sydney Rock Pool by arquiste, but it only lasts like 90 minutes and is $200+ USD...

its not a clone house although it may seem like it, they tend to do their own spin off other fragrances. “Instant crush” is a spin off baccarat rouge 540, “cedrat boise” is a creed aventus like scent and so on.
You have to try instant crush. It’s kinda hype along with cedrat Boise. Both are pretty remarkable IMHO

I have many of their fragrances and this IS NOT a dupe house. Hindu Kush is an original. Aoud lemon mint is an original.They have come close to others(cedrat boise/aventus,instant crush/BKR 540). Red Tobacco was before PDMs Carlisle. They do tend to dupe themselves where Aoud cafe from Mancera is Intense Cafe from Montale. Great video Aaron…

and that tacky pouch is such a middle eastern touch as well, you get a lot of cheap middle eastern fragrances with a pouch like that.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MANCERA’s INSTANT CRUSH?
I had high hopes for this one and you are bang on… plastic suntan lotion! - it doesn’t smell similar to my beloved Soleil Blanc at all, to me the TF is way more complex and refined without the synthetic plastic element. I agree the TF is overpriced though. I burn through that in Summer. But yes Holidays was a major disappointment to me… now I have a bottle I won’t wear. It literally makes me feel sick wearing it! Montale’s Intense Tiare is way better than Holidays, similar ballpark, better coconut and beast mode.
Is Intense Tiare closer to TF?
Mancera and Montale have hundreds of perfumes so it’s easy to see resemblances. To be honest me as a big fan of this fragrance type do not see them very close. TF is creamier and Mancera more marine and airy ❤

Mancera and Montale (kinda same brand, same perfumer) are not dupe houses in my opinion, he did take inspiration in some of his creations no one can argue with that, but he has a lot of originals and very nice fragrances in my opinion ofc, I hope you will review more fragrances from these 2 houses suck as Montale Honey Oud, Montale Intense Pepper and Montale Aoud Lemon Mint these are my favorites
Mancera is definitely not a clone house but they do draw inspiration from a few other houses in their more popular releases. They are great value for money if you know where to shop
I agree with the Tom Ford's price. It felt and act like an body mist (that's being generous) for the prize. I have 2 bottles of Tom Ford and 1 i received as a gift. Mancera otherwise I really appreciate. I get a lot more for my money not just by ounces but by the performance. I have 16 Mancera bottles and I get asked and stop all time about how gorgeous and exotic I smell which is awesome considering I only spray atleast 2-3 spray.

Mancera is not a dupe house, but they have a lot of fragrances and yes, some of them do smell similar to others, usually not 1 to 1 clones though.
Haven't smelled this one so I don't know how similar it is to the Tom Ford, but they have Cedrat Boise, which gets compared to Aventus (I didn't really get that so much), Red Tobacco, which gets compared to Parfums de Marly Carlisle (don't know which came first though and there are notable differences) and Instant Crush, which gets compared to Baccarat Rouge 540 (I got that but think they are not that similar, I also found it unbearable on my skin.)
They are usually well priced for what they offer, like you said about this compared to the Tom Ford, but some are a bit "synthetic" smelling or aggressive to me.
And I don't like the pouch either but for traveling it's very convenient to protect your bottle.

Seems like you’ve been doing a few Mancera fragrances recently. You should give Aoud Lemon Mint by Mancera a try. Easily in the top 3 from the brand.
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 The only MANCERA I love 🌞 Ummmm TF is a bit creamy and nutty, but still smelling like a vacation. It smells of Guerlain Terracotta to me more. Love them all though
mancera isnt a clone house, sometimes they take a concept of an already existing perfume and they play with it to make it unique, example is cedrat boise which people compare to aventus but when you reviewed it, u said it isn't a clone of aventus

Holidays does have a plasticky/glass cleaner smell initially, and that’s why I love it! After 10 seconds you get the Tiare, ylang ylang, Coconut and vanilla. All of their frags last a good 10hrs on my skin. In my opinion this smells nothing like Soleil Blanc…I couldn’t stand it - wound up selling it. SB had a tart, sour note that I didn’t like. So far from the House of Mancera, I have: Holidays, Coco Vanille, Feminity, Velvet Vanilla, Pearl, Instant Crush, Roses Vanille, Amber Fever, Jardin Exclusive, Roses Jasmine, Precious Oud, Vanille Exclusif, Roses Greedy & Wild Python. ♥️

Mancera is owned by Pierre Montale and it's NOT a dupe house. But it's also true that a lot of their most highlighted perfumes are indeed inspired by other ones.
I think to a certain extent a lot of houses take inspiration from other houses. Mancera is Montale's sister house.

It's not a dupe house. Montale is the parent company. I really like Mancera Sicily, Cedrat Boise, Kumkat Woods, Instant Crush(strong though)

Mancera is definitely not a dupe house but you're dead-on as far as taking inspiration.
I've noticed a lot of these houses are swiping each other's ideas more and more over the last few years. Mancera, Parfums de Marly, Boadicea The Victorious, etc...they all still have their originals but some of their fragrances are not only really close, but the prices vary astronomically into the realm of absurdity.
All that being said, I do enjoy a few of Mancera's offerings as they're really strong, long-lasting, and smell really good to my nose. Mancera's Holidays in particular will out-perform just about every other freshie I can think of to be honest.
100% an inspiration house but also they have some original creations. Arguably their 3 "best" fragrances are:
.Red Tobacco (inspired by PDM Carlisle)
.Cedrat Boise (Creed aventus but better)
.Instant Crush (Baccarat Rouge 540)
So im not suprised that this reminds you of Soleil Blanc. Mancera have a DNA and structure to their creations which makes them unique. And for me they make better value versions of already existing frags.
Red Tobacco similar to Carlisle? I have both. I dont see that. Red Tobacco is ten times stronger an more of everything. I thougt that Initio is a clone house in expensive.

Let's face to overwhelming facts about creation of fregeranc. There are just so many materials to draw from. Some naturals, heavily controlled. And the compounds and other chemicals. It is how they are formulated that determines the end product. That is the magic. Of course many small similar. Not to mention all the other things that come into play. What it comes down to is: It smells good to You, or Not.
Mancera isn't a dupe house at all. They have some great stuff and they always keep the price reasonable.
Everything they make reminds me of a done right designer fragrance. Not ground breaking to my nostrils

There is reviewer who's taste (in my opinion) is really bad. He made me buy Red Tobacco, which only gave me headache (probably too much of ethyl safranate, cinnamal and maybe stemone). At least for me it was unbearable. He also liked this fragrance (Holidays), but I trust your taste more certainly. Thanks for the review!
