PS3

DS,PS2, And Wii Version

PC
i find the DS versions art direction quite charming and its pretty good pixel art
yeees seeing this game gave me so much nostalgia, the throwing mechanics were smoother and overall level design was better than psp. it didnt try to look realistic it simply had good design
It's 3D
I've played this DS game SOO much as a kid

I'm honestly super impressed by the PSP version
Yo can have it on your phone, I have played it with an emulator
@@AlexisPereiraGPS on the psvita its better if u have one (modded)

@@AlexisPereiraGPS I played it on PSP and 360 when i was a kid ahah
@@AlexisPereiraGPS what emulator do you use ?
Is really surprising to see how much better the 360 version looks compared to the PS3 one, I would have expected them to be least different.
The cell cpu was a pain to develop for so at the start of the generation devs just ported the 360 version to ps3 and sometimes downgraded it because thwy didnt want to optimize for the painfully hard to code doe cell processor
@@Padlock_Steve no ps3 win and sell 86 million and xbox 360 only 81 million
@@johanbire3296 You did not read his comment fully. He said the xbox was outselling the ps3 "at that time" which mean when the game was made. Not now
@@Neilos-sd6ti those damn SPU's on the ps3 were atrocious to pogram for if devs utilized those SPU's fully ps3 games have way more potential to look better than xbox 360 version's
@@johanbire3296 That's not a win since ps3 lose many of his community agaisnt the 360 who selled more than the first xbox
Early days of the PS3, before devs knew how to properly develop for the CELL processor. As a result, a ton of multi-platform games ended up just being ports of the 360 versions and looked worse. Multi-plats were almost always better looking on the 360, but at the end of its life and with exclusives, the PS3 blew it out of the water.
Talking about performances, most multi-platform games were better on Xbox 360, expecially with Unreal Engine 3. I know just a few games running slightly better on ps3, like Metro Last Light. But with backwards compatibility you can play 360 games at their best, while there is no such thing for ps3. So... as a ps3 owner I must admit that Xbox 360 aged better
@@SyamDaRos-EndoManno that being said, with the rise of stability and compatibility of PS3 emulation via RCPS3 (no small feat), playing PS3 games in the modern era on the PC is very possible and is only going to improve in the next few years
@@tonytwostep_ if only Sony would do ps3 emulation like how Xbox did with 360 and OG Xbox
it did not blow 360 out of the water at all 🤣 But overall the Ps3 is still a better console to own do to free online 3D bluray and almost xbox 360 quality graphics
Wait so this game was made for the 360?
I grew up with the PS2 version and I honestly think it might be the best one. A little slower than the HD version for sure but I think it just feels more polished.
These comparison videos are so satisfying to watch. Love how yours gets to the point and just shows the comparisons.
thanks man
@@GroupMPro How do I get the Wall-e Xbox game
PSP version is what I grew up with. Honestly pretty surprised that there were completely different versions for different consoles.
We need a WALL-E game remake in 2020-s. With current graphics, you can make WALL-E be our saviour yet again.

I has both the pc and wii versions when I was younger and was confused why their box art was basically the same if they were two totally different games. My memories of them have sort of blended together, but I remember both being pretty good
Kind of weird how the PC version is based on the PS2 and PSP version instead of the Wii, PS3 and X360 versions.
That was kinda the case for licensed kids games released during the 7th generation.
Spiderman 2 The Game (PC)
@@BrettonAlmont that one was much better in PS2 than PC
Same for Ratatouille, although the only HD versions were the Xbox 360 and the PS3 while the rest is just the normal version (or whatever you call it :p)
My best guess is that PCs at the time weren't as powerful now to run a game developed like this or something, I could be wrong though.
@@SpongeyBubby incorrect but its ok. was more due to the fact that companies were pushing for consoles to have all "next-gen" features kinda like fifa did with ps6/series x vs the pc port which was based on ps4/xbox1x..... pc is always next gen because of its scalability and the consent push for what is next.
I remember back in elementary school I ordered this game out of the book catalogue at school on the ps2. Had a lot of fun with this game. Definitely a bit of nostalgia
I only played the DS one since I just got into gaming back then as a little kid it’s hard to believe there where other versions of the game I thought that was the only one lol
PS2 version was made by ASOBO, the developer of "Flight Simulator".

So from what I understand, there are 3 separate games across 7 platforms:
- First, the "main release", which landed on PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii (which is surprising because usually, the Wii would instead share with the PS2).
- Secondly, the "low-budget release", which came out on lower-performing hardware including the PS2, the PSP (whose version looks very impressive visually) and the PC (my best guess is that they went with the low-budget release instead of the main one for the PC because the game would be targetting an audience that simply didn't own gaming rigs and therefore wanted to focus on making the game affordable to run).
- And finally, the DS version, which had to be its own thing due to the hardware's limitations. Looks really cute though! The low-res, cel-shaded art style makes the 3D models look like pixel art.

I remember playing this on the PS3 and DS, I then later bought the ps2 version, I can gladly say that the PS3 and Wii versions were the best.
In your opinion
Idk but DS graphics have a weird charm to them
what was better from the ps2 version [i am genuienly asking cause i want to see if its worth looking for the game cause i got my ps3 running]
@@andreaskav7124definitely cop the ps3 version then if you got the ps3. I prefer it over the old gen versions
I like the DS version. It's the most nostalgic for me.
Graphics: 360 > PS3 > PC > Wii > PS2 > PSP > DS
Versions themselves: PC > PS2 > 360 > PS3 > PSP > Wii > DS
The PC/PS2/PSP game is an all-time classic. The PSP port is kinda weak though.
The 360/PS3/Wii game is really good, but not quite as good.
The DS version I never got into.
holy shit the ammount of nostalgia that just hit me. i used to play WALL-E on my PS2 so fucking much when i was kid
Yeah same here.
0:24 i refuse to think this is the ds
it looks more like a gameboy advance
Ds was way more capable than that
@@angelvillegas9604 just look at Metroid Prime: hunters, amazing graphics for its time.
Idk why but for some reason I really liked the simplistic look of the DS version, and I thought it's intended to be that way

GTA 4 Russian bandit's voice: Now I got you! Ha!
I grew up with the Wii version. I didn't even realise it wasn't even widescreen until now, but I never understood why the Wii version had less levels than the PC, PSP, PS2 and DS versions. I do agree that the other versions are better graphics wise.
on the 6th gen consoles the ps2 was the leading platform so I believe it's the original version of the 6th gen then they ported it to PC and a different team worked on the PSP port that also made from the ps2 version, and the DS version is basically a different game made specifically for the DS.
the so called HD versions as they used to call them back then was a different kind of beasts, hence the name been giving back then but they're not an HD versions of the 6th gen, they were built from ground up for the 7th gen consoles capabilities in mind, from the looks of things this version was built first on the Xbox 360 because it's easier to develop for and then got ported to the ps3, the ps3 was the most powerful console at that era but it was the hardest to code for so the results are mostly developers gaving it a 360 port then lazing out to polish it up which explains why most of the ps3 versions of 3rd party games to looks so washed up in comparison to the 360 versions.
I'm surprised that not the PC, but the Wii got an SD port of the ps3 and 360 where its no where it's as powerful as the ps3 and the 360.
The psp version looks crappy enough to just be a PS2 port with all the settings turned way down. I wonder why they didn’t just port the Wii version to the PS2 tho
I played the DS Version a lot back then interesting to see how different it is
man I remember playing this game on the psp, I barely knew how to play but it was super cool at that time, I'm happy to see it again and all the other versions
As a kid I always remember not getting much further that the hoopla liquid bit on the wii
I remember struggling on the bit where eve chases wall.e out the axiom ship in wii version
PSP in general impresses me TO THIS DAY.
I am so glad I grew up with the 360 version. Although I didn't know that the PS2/PSP/Win version shared some of the absolute fucking masterful soundtrack that the Wii/PS3/360 had. The 360's game soundtrack is so incredibly cohesive and definitive to me that when I think about WALL-E, I'm more likely to think about the game soundtrack than the movie's. I don't think there's a single track I dislike.
Yeah I also grew up with the 360 version too but I didn't even know they had a ps2 version
The Wii version was the only game I ever played for that console, Did try playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl but couldn't figure out so skipped that, So Wall-E was the only one.
So you brought a console for only one game?
What a waste XD
@@AlexxxMYLSince2013 It was actually my older cousin's Wii, My parents brought it home but they thought I was too young for the Wii but I did manage to play Wall-E and a small bit of SSBB till they brought it back to him with my mum's sister and that's it, Then growing up with playing Wii Sports in my school on Fridays after dinner for a few years and finally getting a Wii for my own and playing Wall-E, such a nice time to play a nostalgic game for a console that Nintendo lovers gonna love.

I Like Wall-E The PSP, PS2 And Windows Versions
Previously on psp, I thought it was very beautiful graphics
Well, its kinda a downgrade to see the system on a screen wider or larger than the original. On psp it looks better than the video. But still it is inferior to the other versions.
Remembered my times when i had ps2 as kid i was playing Wall-E and GTA SA with Pepsi Man mod
I only played the DS and PSP versions. I really liked them, but way more the second.
Oh my freaking god i used to have this on ps2. Nostalgia!
Same I used to play this on ps2
0:32 POV: you're 6 years old and your parents went to a budget electronics store to get a new widescreen TV
After you pick out your games you see your parents still paying for their TV. You go to explore a bit and see this game playing on one of the TVs as a demo.
3:18 you pit that into another language. Surprising!
That's Russian, for some reason.
i completly forgot about the ds game, i used to play it religiously
I've still got the PS3 version I got in 2008 or so. Did you ever sell your copy? I'm sure it'll feel nostalgic to get back to the games you haven't played in almost 15 years.
when i was a kid, i didnt take care of my game consoles, probably linked to me being stupid, so i'd guess i dont have the cartridge. plus i think it might've been on a r4 card, as my first ever ds game and first game ever was a r4 card with a lot of games on it
I didnt know they made a game of wall-e, this is one of my favorite movies lol
You should play it it's allot of fun.
Your video is the only thing that made me happy today
I remember playing the Xbox 360 version, all the achievements were easy, favorite level was 5, and I loved to use cheats after I beat the game
I wish the game had had trophies on PS3. I really liked the game back in the day before my trophy hunting career kicked off in 2010.
Bruh the PS3 version was my SHIT back in my childhood, I used to play the hell out of the demo before getting the actual physical game and had just has fun.
i never knew of the ps3/360 version of the hame existed.. i grew up playing the ps2/pc version.. guess i gotta play this one now
I remember playing this on Xbox 360 when I was very little then I lost it and got it again but on Wii I still have my Wii copy!!
The wallop sound in the Wii version sounds like that due to the compression trying to compress high frequency noise!
Looks much better the PSP version in the console than the video. Specially in the Street model.
This is very and extremely cool
Wall-E when like Magnezone is Magnet Pokémon
Man I really miss this game
Heck yeah, I played through this one on PS2 not too long ago
This was one of my favorite movies as a kid
This was my childhood movie
I never played this game, but it brings back a lot of memories, maybe it's because of the movie
I grew up with the ps2 version and this and ratatouille and toy story 3 for ps2 are the best games of all time in my opinion
PSP on PSP screen looks like PS2 on computer screen.
Yes and xbox on wii screen looks like ds screen
idk bout yall but the ps2 version looks a bit different it has that red light or idk what it is but ps2 looks a bit more unique the ps2 version definetly gives off the best old game vibe and feeling because it doesnt only have lower resolution to make everything pixelated but it also has these nostalgic graphics
Disney kind of did a disservice to themselves by swapping spit with every console at the time cause as a kid I didn't understand hardware limitations so I'd get a DS version of the game then say "what a scam, looks and plays nothing like the other ones I saw" and never got another Disney game again lol
I play this on PlayStation 2.
Unlike this video here, the music quality is great, and the graphics look great on my TV!
since the wii sacrificed most of its graphics for other things, a lot of its games shadows are put on the surface texture and it makes a much more darker game texture wise. you can also see how lights actually were just no collision blocks that were neon and see through so some parts of the wii version might have lights where the other versions might not
PSP,DS y Wii son impresionantes la verdad.
Man, why NDS's graffics are always at the bottom?
The WALL-E game had no business being so good. (for a film game)
it was from a time where developers put at least some effort in movie videogames
@@andreaskav7124 Nah there were tons of garbage film based games at the time.
@@electriccomics eh still liked treasure planet and ratatouille.
Wii and DS look the coolest imo
I really don't know why the Xbox 360/PS3 version couldn't be on PC instead of the spinoff PS2 version. I never understood that. I also don't see the point of putting the 360/PS3 game on the Wii if it physically couldn't run the full game. They had to cut out so much content you may as well just port the PS2 game to the Wii.
Well back then, Pixar was trying to releasing their video games on almost every current gaming system that was going on at the time.
Check out, Ratatouille video game that was on a ton of different platforms too.
@@andykishore so the 360/PS3 game didn't come to PC because PC wasn't a next gen console?
the port was developed by asobo studio, the same that made versions for ps2, psp and mac, while on ps3 and xbox 360 it was made by heavy iron studios, I think this explains the pc version having those graphics.
@@joaofernandes9756 Not the graphics, but the *version.* I'm trying to play the PS3/360 version on RPCS3 but the screen is tinted blue for some reason. Is there a fix for this yet?
PS3 version has a more "realistic" lighting, XBOX360 version runs the best and is the most graphically superior.
as for PSP version i am actually really surprised that they literally went as far as to port the PS2 version onto the PSP lol.
the DS version looks kinda meh, the Wii version also looks kinda meh.
the strangest part here however is that the Wii got a port of the PS3/XBOX360 versions but the PS2 got a version of its own, despite both consoles having more or less the exact same performance.
i think the DS version should've never existed to be honest, and if it did have to exist it could easily at least be in the same style of the PSP version just with a shorter draw distance, sort of like how ubisoft made Brothers in Arms for the DS, it looked really incredible for a DS game yet ran at a solid 60fps.
i remember my N95 used to struggle a bit running the same version of Brother's in Arms back then from N-GAGE 2.0
i just realised footage of the psp version is slowed down in this video
Its crazy to think that back in 2008 PC was only slightly more powerfull than a PS2.
PCs where a lot more power than 360 and PS3, they just decided to port the old generation version because it was more likely that a the target audience (probably kids) had a PC with weaker hardware.
PS2 was the weakest console
?????? The optimization of a game has nothing to do with the power of the machine. PC in 2008 was even more powerful than the PS3 and Xbox 360. Obviously a lot of consoles games ended up looking better due to the insane optimization (in PC devs had to optimize their games for multiple PCs and they mostly dont apply all of the techniques or arent as skilled as console devs like Naughty Dog, even to this day).

I APPARENTLY saw the other wall.e game : for PS2 and windows. And I told my parents about it and they still thought it was the same as the one for Xbox 360 but I just shared this video with my dad so he can see the difference, because I BEATED the Xbox 360 game and I need to try my hand at the other game for PS2 because my dad got a PS2 from storage and figured I should get a PS2 game to try out on the system.
