Kimba is so awesome!!! Some of the things she said.... laughing my head off! I must of seen this documentary a million times since its recorded on my TV too... but I love it! Love em all!
They were very smart that they stayed with Xenomania during their whole career. Xenomania admitted they were heavily influenced by Motown and Phil Spector. You see the influence with "Biology" and when they did the The Concert where they Sang "Wake Me Up" and you hear The Drum Solo, you would have thought the Drummer secretly Studied Motown Funk Brother Benny "Papa Zita" Benjamn.
Haha - nadine mentioning her fears when she’s currently on I’m celebrity ! 😆😆 Also bet she wouldn’t have ever thought that she would be teaching Caitlin Jenner the “promise” dance !
Isn't it also amazing that Davina McCall is a Judge on The Masked Singer and sees Nicola Roberts Win. She probably thought to herself, how far Nicola has come since competing on Popstars: The Rivals.
And if Davina carried on presenting Celebrity Big Brother she could have seen a rather less employable Sarah win in 2017. (Davina presented from around 2001-2010.)
It's amazing. They were in the same boat with Banarama with "Venus" who had to fight tooth and nail to get it released. It became their biggest US Hit that went to Number One and they were the first and only Girlband from The UK to do American Bandstand.
Isn't it amazing how the fashions are as famous as the Groups themselves. The Beatles & Temptations went from wearing Dark Suits & Ties to Psychedelic Clothes during Strawberry Fields, as well as Psychedelic Soul around 1968.
I got to see Shrek the musical when Kimberly played Princess Fiona and can we just take a moment how difficult it is as you use your voice in a different way when singing musical theatre than you do singing pop music
You're so right about that. She did Vocal Training when she had a small guest starring role as Cosette in Les Miserables. Ricky Martin did The US Version as well. In her Book she and her Sister loved singing Julie Andrews Music from The Sound Of Music. Lance Bass also played Corny Collins in the US Production of Hairspray, Kevin Richardson and Usher each did "Chicago", while Joey Fatone did Little Shop Of Horrors.
They are also lucky that they still have a Fan Base because if they were American it would be "Who?" 2002 was quite an amazing time for Boybands/Girlbands but now most have faded out.
@Sweet Summer The last thing Kimberly is, is bitchy. They all said that, she was like the "mum" of the group. You can tell how down to earth she is, Cheryl and Sarah can be divas though I agree. But being told how gorgeous and wonderful they are all the time by the media, Cheryl especially, would do that. When you become a celebrity it's hard to stay "real ". They believed their own press, that's all. It must have been very hard and humbling to take all the knock backs from the press Cheryl did, she was once the "Nations Sweetheart" (sadly no irony there ) then after Liam Payne left her she was considered past it with a weird surgically ruined face. After being FHM'S sexiest girl in the world once upon a time. Fame really is that fickle. Who is first ends up being last. She should have known when to quit.
i just love hearing Nadine talk

"it's cheap and cheerful but it's got good memories." bahahahahaah kimba

They didn’t wanna sound like Atomic Kitten, but they definitely looked like them in the early days
They are also lucky that they still have a Fan Base because if they were American it would be "Who?" 2002 was quite an amazing time for Boybands/Girlbands but now most have faded out.
They haven't been at the top for 10 years. For 3 of them they did bugger all!
