    The Lady who did the Choreography for Cheryl's Solo Concert is American Choreographer Fatima Robinson who is one of the US's top Choreographers. She also did The Performance for the Live Production of The Wiz.

      Yes, it happens to any Girl Group no matter what. One of the saddest Pictures I remember was from Diana Ross's Book Secrets of A Sparrow where you see The Supremes backstage where Diana Ross is sitting down with a Cigarette in her hand She's become the undisputed Star and Mary Wilson & Florence Ballard (1943-1976) look sad because she's the one carrying the group. Also not too long ago SWV (Sisters With Voices) did a Tour with Salt 'N Pepa to get "Paid", and it was bedlam for them too.

      Yep. I think by the end there was a massive divide between Nadine and the other girls. I remember at their last concert Nicola removed herself from the side of Nadine and went to stand on the opposite end where Kimberley was. It was clear Nadine was problematic.

    They were very lucky and smart in the sense that the Songwriting Team they started out with they pretty much ended with. Very good move. When The Supremes lost Holland Dozier Holland in 1967 and when Florence Ballard got fired the magic was pretty much gone. Love Machine was a Number One Hit for them while in the US The Miracles (Sans Smokey Robinson) had a Hit Record called Love Machine that also went to Number One. Cheryl Has Five Number One Solo Hits while Diana Ross had Five including Endless Love which is to this Day the greatest love duet of all time.

    Interesting facts about Biology, Models and Long Hot Summer: Those songs were originally given to Per Gessle for his album Son Of a Plumber, But he turned them down and were instead given to Girls Aloud and Biology became a number 1 hit for the group

Sarah won CBB, was on The Jump, presented Dating in the Dark, modelled lingerie and perhaps was involved elsewhere in fashion, released a solo single which I liked as it was different as was Nicola's, Nadine's and Cheryl's, moved to the country with animals, tried one fiancé and half a dozen boyfriends and

    I would have said to them with the "Love Machine" Song "Alot of folks turned down songs that were hits for others, The Marvelettes & Martha & The Vandellas turned down Where Did Our Love Go" which went to Number One in August 1964, Britney Spears turned down Umbrella that was a Hit for Rihanna, Smokey Robinson all but forgot Tears Of A Clown that he co wrote with Stevie Wonder and it was the Miracles Only Number One Pop Hit in 1970 so you never know. Even Mrs. Jackson hated "I Want You Back" and it was voted by Rolling Stone the best debut Record of all time so you never know.

    • @laminage
      @laminage 4 роки тому +1

      Yes or it's given as a last chance to make it. The Marvelettes and Martha Reeves & The Vandellas both turned down "Where Did Our Love Go" that was given to The Supremes who couldn't get a Hit at Motown after Three Years. They recorded it in June 1964 and went to Number One in August. Within one year their Career superseded the Marvelettes.

      Also look at how Girls Aloud ddi their Version of All Fired Up but it became a hit for The Saturdays. Then Keisha Buchanan of The Sugababes suggested that A Melody was used that became their Comeback Something New.

    i'm not too sure what there is to be offended at by her comment. it's obvious that nicola spent many years being self conscious of the color of her skin and always wanting to be tan like the other girls. that wasn't who she naturally was and once she realized that, i think she really came into her own and was finally proud of who she was. her dainty doll collection is just aiming to do the same for other people. it's not a bad thing to be pale and that's what she's trying to say.

      @@johnroyce1551 I know right. A true Goddess. Also with her Makeup Line as a Dark Skinned Black there were no Cosmetics that I really had access to. Fashion Fair Co created by the Johnson Company (not to be confused with Johnson & Johnson) had Fashion Fair that I used but now I use Mac. Oh here's another eerie fact. Before she was in The Black Eyed Peas, Stacy Ferguson aka "Fergie" was in a Girlband called Wild Orchid who didn't make it and neither did a Group called Innosense that Lou Pearlman created who also created The Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. If you can check out the Boy Band Con. He was a real sicko. These guys were very lucky, people still want to know what they are up to after Seven Years. Nobody cares about The Former Destiny's Child Members Latoya Lesmond, LaTavia Robinson & Farrah Franklin.

      Oh She Is! Did you ever read her book. She grew up in a Council House, in Newcastle where the Folks didn't have much in terms of Dollars & Cents, but made up or it, with hard work and pride. She got into an altercation with a Bathroom Attendant but there was a settlement. If there was one thing that alot of Boy Band Girl Group Icons have in common is that they grew up in Low Income Housing. Atomic Kitten, New Kids On The Block, New Edition were prime examples. When she talked about how daunting it was to go solo, she was so right on. With the exception of Diana Ross and Beyoncé, as well as Camila Cabello (Fifth Harmony) most Girl Group Icons who start in Groups don't go far as Solo Artists. Even none of the Spice Girls have set the Pop World on Fire, especially in the US. Also in The UK there's always a Market for Boy Bands/Girl groups.
