We just got the 2450. We were looking at that or the Peloton Tread and I’m so glad that we went with the 2450. The way it folds up, the screen swivel, and how nice it is to run on are all reasons why I love it so much. Also, the outdoor workouts and how it automatically adjusts your incline and speed is incredible. I think I get a better workout from the hiking classes than I do anything else! It BURNS! lol.
Are you able to connect your tablet to the Bluetooth setting to stream Netflix or a peloton class? Can’t find much reviews on this component with the 2450.
@@gbelks1 Unfortunately you aren’t able to connect a tablet to stream ☹️ Bluetooth is only for headphones. I had a Peloton membership before we bought the treadmill and I used it on my Amazon bike with my iPad. With the NordicTrack I find that the iFIT classes are way better, for me personally. So I cancelled Peloton since I had no ties to it. I love the outdoor runs, hikes and etc with a trainer vs studio classes. They offer those too, I just haven’t done any yet! I have seen some people say that you can “hack” into the NordicTrac to be able to stream Netflix but I wouldn’t even know how to do that, lol.
Great review! I have had the old 2450 for about 5 years now and I really love it, but the large screens are super tempting. Especially when my s22i bike has a bigger screen than my treadmill... The incline trainer x22i is the next treadmill I want to get, or I guess whatever replaces that because I doubt I'm going to replace my treadmill for a few more years! It still runs great.
I have been long waiting for a review of this new 2450 design. How would you compare the 2022 2450 to the previous design? And in addition how long did it take from the moment of purchase to receiving it? Lastly can you also add any additional comments on the difficulties about the set up or building the unit? Apologies for the long winded set of questions but you are the very first to have a review of the new design of the 2022 2450 treadmill.
No problem. Unfortunately I never tried the previous version of the 2450 so I can’t help you more than what the website says. I had the deliverers set up the units but I watched and would say the 2450 setup was fairly straight forward. The x22i seemed tough tho… so I would suggest the white glove service for that. Delivery took around a month but that always varies from place to place, and what shipping companies are available.
Great summary with all 3 units. 👍 The exp14i has a narrower footprint which might matter depending on how much room is avail…sometimes it’s a game of inches. Lol.
How was the screen response? I have an X22i, bought in 2020, and it seems like I have to tap multiple times to get a response. In addition iFit, which we love, does seem to run a little slow. Thanks for the post. Love the videos.
Depends on Internet quality, it has improved a bit and doesn’t take very long to load with a good connection… but ya their whole app/net code could use an upgrade. Faster loading/improved UI/better browsing and organization, etc… would love to see it improved across the board

Which one do you prefer the most between the two? The pricing in Canada is very close for the new x22i and the x32i. I’m really wondering if I should go newer build/model or stick with the older model but bigger screen. What is your opinion on that, if you have tried the x32i of course? I prefer the new one a lot more. It looks a lot nicer, adjusts quicker, better speakers, better cup holders, etc... the new X22i was $3,200 last week. Not sure why it was bumped up in price this week, but it might be a mistake. I can't say anything about the X32i as Ive never tried it. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see a new version of the X32i come out once they sell out of the old model. And my older X22i is still working as good as new 👍
What is the actual step up height of the commercial 2450? The website says "new lower height" but doesn't give a number. I'm considering this model for a basement but the ceiling height might be an issue. Thanks for the great comparison of the new models!
My best guess is ~8”… but I can tell you the exact number within a few days. You’ll also probably want to know the height for when it is at the max incline.
I second this question! I'm super interested in the incline treadmill but my ceiling is only 8ft / 96 inches. An updated step up height would be really helpful!
How would you compare the EXP 14i to the ProFrom Pro 9000? I'm leaning toward getting a slightly smaller (20" wide deck) so I can get it through my front door without disassembling it. Plus, these are quite a bit lighter than the commercial ones. I understand the screen is smaller on the EXP 14i. Not sure how big of a deal that is. It's also about 40 pounds lighter than the ProForm. Any thoughts on the running experience for those two? Does the 14i feel sturdy enough?
Great review. FYI I ordered the EXP14i instead of the 1750 because of the product weight difference. I own an old split level house with stairs essentially at the front door - up or down immediately. wit the door centered between the two options. The installers had a hard enough time getting the EXP14i where I wanted it. If I had ordered a commercial series, they likely would have had to bring it inside part by part if they even would have done that. If my fitness room was on a ground floor, I would have bought the Elite or X series..

Just had my x22i delivered and set up today. I was surprised how loud the motor/belt is while walking/running on it. It's pretty quiet while going without someone on it. Is it normal to be a lot louder? Is there some kind of adjustment I can make? Thanks so much for the great videos!
That’s definitely not normal. Mine is the same whether someone is running on it or not. I would contact support to see if they have an idea of what may be loose or what the problem could be.

Unfortunately I don’t know any more about the price change than you do. Hopefully no more prices go up… but I wouldn’t be shocked if the 2450 increases in price a bit to be more in line with the Peloton Tread (which is ~$2,700 with shipping)

@@barney7984 it went well. A few points worth mentioning. 1) the tread is HEAVY, like, incredibly heavy. I did not have the assembly option where I live, so the guys literally dropped the box at my door. I had to wait for my husband to arrive home to bring the box inside, because I could not do it alone - not even pushing the box. Once the box was inside, we tried to open it to start bringing the pieces upstairs to assemble - plan was to assemble the tread in a room upstairs. However, it was TOO heavy for us to do it without any equipment (we are both in our 30s, but not necessarily the athletic type). We ended up having to call a moving company to see if they could help and hired 2 movers; they were able to bring the treadmill upstairs fairly easy with the assistance of a moving belt. 2) the assemble process itself was not difficult, but it took a few hours. We realized that we messed up one step and had to go back, which took us an extra hour, but it was doable. Definitely need two people to do it, not sure it can be done alone. Once we finished assembling, we realized a few buttons were not working on the panel, we called Nordictrack and they sent us a spare panel. However, it looks so complicated to replace that we are just using the tread without the malfunctioning buttons. Overall it’s a nice tread, but just be ready for how heavy it is and how massive is the box they are going to drop at your front porch!

I have the Nordictrack 2450 treadmill...and after 5 months...mine has started to FULL STOP very suddenly in the middle of a run. It happens regularly. Usually, at high sprints, it goes black and turns off. Circuits in my house are fine, it's the circuit in the machine that throws. I've called a dozen times and they've given me as many "fixes" for it (dedicated circuit, lube, take the hood off, live video assessments, various speeds, various times of day, various temperatures, etc.). Nothing works. I showed them a video...now they want me to sign a release of liability before they'll send someone to come look at it. Like they're holding me hostage. Great treadmill if it works...terribly dangerous if it does what mine is doing. Still not fixed...5 months in...still paying it off...doesn't work...no support. So bummed.
Mine came to a full stop twice, today. I was just doing a hike in the Grand Canyon. I shut it down 5 times. 3 of those times, the belt wouldn't even move, and the other 2 times I had the full stop. With the money I spent on this machine, you'd think it would sing to me. How many gym memberships could I buy for that kind of money?
The treadmill in the video looks like the Elite series and not the X22i? Am I missing something? Even the link in the description goes to a different looking treadmill.

I've got the 2450 and it has really improved my speed for running backwards. I even have a mirror behind it so I don't miss a thing on the screen.

Can they all do a sled push? I notice the X22i has specific handles for it but can you do it with the others with the regular handles?

I had a different belt treadmill have a similar issue in the past… turned out it was due to a loose bolt from the installation team.
Can you screen cast to a TV via HDMI or Bluetooth?
Can you connect to, or Screencast to a large tv?
