I agree that the incline is louder than what we are used to hearing from this brand. We really like this treadmill. The only thing we have noticed is that we can not really pair any other bluetooth devices to our machine. That is so disappointing because we would like to hear some of our audio books through the speakers while we're using this treadmill. We were told it was bluetooth compatible before purchasing, however we do know how to pair any other device except our headphones. How do you pair your bluetooth devices to hear thru the speakers? Has that feature been removed on this model? This machine holds up well we must admit and has a really strong motor to meet our needs.
Unfortunately, this feature isn't available on this model. NordicTrack seems to be stepping away from connecting your device through Bluetooth to listen through the speakers in their new models. That's great to hear that the motor is great for your needs! We're impressed with it, too.
You mentioned that there are free onboard workouts available on the exp 14i. Are you able to explain how to find them? I use manual mode often, but would like to see what else the treadmill offers that does not require an ifit subscription. Thanks!

I bought this two weeks back. I am trying to connect to my iphone bluetooth from treadmill both and viceversa as well but its not able to connect. I want to here music in machine speakers from my iphone using bluetooh. Can you help and also where can we monitor heart or pulse rate during workout?
Unfortunately, this model doesn't have the ability to connect your phone through Bluetooth to listen through the speakers. For heart rate tracking, NordicTrack sells the SmartBeat forearm heart rate monitor that connects to the EXP 14i for heart rate tracking in iFit.

The shock absorption looks good at plain level. What is the point of decline? Inclining sound is a bit too loud.
