There will never be another Dillinger. One of the greatest bands of all time.
Best drummer 2
I can’t find a time stamp but I’m somewhere in this video. Absolute insane concert.
@@luskdylan Was it insanely loud? I can barely hear anything and I’m listening through headphones.
Looking at this footage, I thought it was from a different night... I don't remember half of what was happening on stage because of the chaos in the crowd - but I'm in there, somewhere in the center, hardly able to breathe, sweating, muscles unable to push people back anymore, my ear infection still throbbing the right side of my head, the cuts on my face from the moshing hurting the left side of my face, holding my right shoe which fell off..... still wish the show never ended.
@@jaymac6758 calm down my guy, insecure much?
Weird flex but ok
I clearly missed something from Jay Mac - I see replies to him but no comment.
that sounds like utter shit
most docile DEP show ever tbh
I really, truly enjoyed every album by Dillinger. They were so chaotic, unusual, and did not give a fuck about what the average person calls "music". Nobody did it quite like them and I'm really gonna miss them.
truly an end of an era.
none of your business an amazing era
You’re truly an end of an era, mate, if anyone is...
So they finally escaped?
You finally escaped, mate, if anyone did...
@@itsMrNoble that feeling: when batman throwing joker
They were 100% burnt
I take it the plan worked
Omg, these comments crack me up. Thanks for making me laugh.
you really think greg, ben and liam can keep doing this shit in their late 40's, you're nuts. i mean, they may put out another album, but i seriously doubt you'll ever see them this insane ever again.
they'll do a reunion show when they hit 50, playing every record front to back, back to back, all in one night
that way they all guarantee have heart attacks on stage, deaths fit for kings
As much as I hate that Dillinger broke up, it was genius for them to end their career at the top of their game. Now nobody can ever point to an album cycle as the “beginning of the end.” They will be remembered forever as an uncompromising force of brutality.
Better lovers exists now though
final 43% burnt, and no fire breathing? wtf greg!
I will have to be that guy...Remember the brazzilian night club called "Kiss"?
No,but Greg does and that's why it didn't happen on this show
#thankyoudillinger
That Ben Weinman leap at 0:42 tho
He missed that sick ass arpeggio because of it lol
Live TDEP gave it their all. How they only lost one member to Dillinger-related injuries is beyond me.
thats 9ft easy they were in such great physical shape
Ben looking around for Greg at 2:30 is priceless
The guy working the lights is the unsung hero
Okay, so has anyone else been back to this video more than 10 times. Or is it just me lol.
I was never expecting I would get emotional in live performance of this song 😢
I'm not happy that they disbanded but the fact that they were brutally honests with themselves to know that they had to stop some day.
That is real courage.
Btw, my favorites were when Chris and Dimitri; after that they were just doing crazy talented records.
RIP DEP, thanks for the music !
Frank Lefebvre DEP in spanish means Descanse En Paz, which translates to Rest In Peace jaja, I spend like two secs trying to figure out your "RIP DEP" ( I'm mexican)

I sure am gonna miss this heavenly band. Let's all hope they go on a reunion tour before too long
So glad I got to see them multiple times, including on this tour. That we existed at all, let alone at the same time the Dillinger Escape Plan did is amazing. I will never take it for granted.
Incredible band. Hope they do reform at some point, even just for live shows. If not, it was great lads!
For some reason I think they are one of those groups that might just never have another go.
They’re coming back for a few shows to celebrate calc infinity 25 in Brooklyn this year :)
@@Bachishaman Yeah, Ben Affleck has repeatedly said it's done and dusted- seems he would rather manage Alt-Pop Stars and run his animal farm. Oh well....
@@soulsearch13 Really? Nice!! Too far away for me though, but then again I did get to see them 4 times, and meet them. Wonder who'll be in the lineup? Especially on drums... 🤔🙂
@@divinefallfromgrace Omg that's amazing! I wish I could've met them or gone to a show during their run, unfortunately I'm also too far away from brooklyn to attend the show... and yeah it'll be interesting to see who's in the lineup
It depresses me to no end that this is the last time Dillinger will ever play 43% Burnt. :(
Don't know why people hate on this band because they're really fucking talented like the diversity they have from 43% Burnt or Setting Fire To Sleeping Giants to One Of Us The Killer or Black Bubblegum etc
Jacob Joyett jealousy?
Matthew Argyros they might be jealous
people hate on what they dont understand....the issue with dillinger is...this isnt normal accessible music like the most of metal.....so for a normal metal listener to listen to dillinger and to like them on first....second...or third go is near impossible.
blur vizioz I've tried to get people who listen to metal into Dillinger but they said it's too chaotic and noisy
the only reason that someone who is into metal wouldn’t like this band is because they don’t understand the concept that dillinger was trying to accomplish. thats literally the only reason. you couldn’t say they’re untalented or unoriginal, or that they sold out because none of that is true. thats why they’re such an iconic band.
Last time ever until the reunion tour and album in 10 years time.
i will be there :)
Yeah, not sure about that. I doubt they could pull off a comeback at 50.
not happening with this band
bearvsshaan I've lived through Carcass, Godflesh, At The Gates, Refused, Faith No More, Emperor, Black Sabbath all 'breaking up, never to play again' the first time round, and then inevitably reforming, releasing new records and touring for years. 😉
DEP will be round again. I'd be happy to put money on it.
I'd be happy to take that bet also. they physically will not be able to play these shows in the future. they can barely do it now. there is a reason they broke up, and TDEP is not a normal band. they went out on top for a reason.
I love this song so goddamn much! Im glad I got to see them live a few times
What a crazy beautiful energy this video has
Truly beautiful
I didn't know what I had until I was gone. Growing up I hated dillinger but my dad loved them.
It wasn't till 2020 I actually sad down during the pandemic and actually gave them a listen. There so good!
Your dad has good taste
@@paburo-san6667 that he does. I grew up around bands like sepultura, staticx, lamb of god, etc
One AWESOME band, they blew me away 2x in concert!
Thank you.
what an amazing fucking band. Will miss them
the best light show ever!
Watching this and it brings tears to my eyes and a lump in my throat. ALL HAIL THE KINGS, THE MIGHTY DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN!
saw DEP on this tour, in a venue probably 1/4 the size of this one. the show was equally 1/4 as insane as just this one song. goddamn NYC.
first song of theirs i got to hear was 43% burnt in 2001- was on a punk rock comp between a bunch of poorly recorded pop and crust punk then 43%burnt comes on with that fuckin riff- and the explosion happened my mind was blown out the back of my skull- i gathered the bits of brain matter and skull fragments ,quickly scooped it back itnto my head and went right out and bought calculating infinity - got lucky enough to see them twice once with the original drummer 03 (ithink) freebird_jaxbeach and again at banaroo- 09
first time
was rad
small venue
punched in theface with mic and still screamed into it
ben ran upthewall whiplash
neck fucked for two weeks
was so good
second time
was couple thousand fuckers goin
bat shit bananas
whole band
except for the drummer
were in the crowd at one
point
climbed on strangers screamed in mic
broke my neck
and most importantly
banged my fuckin head
my brain bits will never be the same again
Sounds like the lyrics to if Cannibal Corpse collabed with Eminem
i miss these sweet melodies :)
Well done, guys. Wish I'd been there. You had a pretty good run. Here's to the D.E.P.!!
My soul is a kingdom of sadness, after 4 years i can't belive than TDEP's way is over, my favorite band of all times.
still can't believe I caught that second fucking drum stick
Just fucking awesome. Fuck yeah. Pure loud. Heavy'n'loud
I miss them 😔
Damn that feedback at the end sounds so perfect.
Fucking love this band
Last show until they say we were being trolled this entire time and they are still together
Imagine being one of those poor security guards lmao.
Gah damm that fucking bass and kick with the lights 💅🤤
They had a good run man
what a violent fucking light show
Imagine if Ben Weinman broke his ankle on that jump and they ended it then and there... j/k he'd keep playing.
Dillinger is back together in 2024! Not LAST TIME EVER
heavy metal 🖤 🤘
I was the dude in the lobby that gave you probs!
I now know that I do not have a seizure disorder.
Fuck yes! \,,/
Calculating Infinity is my favorite DEP record.
God... I miss this band :(
My eyes
I put this as my wake up alarm for school. If I don’t wake up due to this I don’t know what will make me wake up I might just be dead. God damn u trying to give me a seizure due to the stage lights.
ok this looks that TDEP show i saw in 2008... seems legit TDEP
Damn
This is fine O_o
ANd bREaK iT
Had to stop myself numerous times from liking this video. May it forever be at 666
bump
Careful, you might cut yourself on all that edge, my dude.
Nooooooooo not the last time pls anoooooooooooooooouu...~
Lmao yeaaaaah last show
Please do a reunion tour
If you're interested, Greg has formed a new band with members of ETID and Will Putney, it's called Better Lovers and they just dropped their EP a few weeks ago on Sharptone :)
@@lilsisgay Awesome, thank you. I'll check it out.
Well you got your wish kinda
@@TyroneMcDonalds better lovers iis pretty dope. And Dep did drop some old school shows but it was only in n.j and n.y with Thier old frontman Dimitri. If you were lucky enough to see them I bet they fucking rocked
SAD 😢

AFX profile picture AND Dillinger Escape Plan comment? You da real mvp.
@@genius7328 That bless my heart thank you
Holy fuck, that guitarist at the left scares me. Hahaha dude looks like he could really injure himself if he falls off those big-ass amplifiers.
Why did they break up?
Because they did crazy shit at their shows everytime, like jumping off the balcony. They got tired of it and it was also a health concern as Greg said in an interview.
I Mean why Dillinger being Disband... Noo
That sucks, why are they breaking up?
If you did what you just saw in this video every day for 20 years you'd probably wanna put your feet up and relax for a while
epilepsy warning please
jersey born heroes
Not last time ever.
Last time EVER, eh? 🤔
Did Greg sing this song originally?
lol @ jock dudes outfit for the final show. Never liked that guy. Calc ∞ 4evr
dude is totalllly left out of the huddle at the end - no surprise there.
I still don't think I like them
nobody gives a shit
You guys are mad
Way to ruin it Puciato
No need for the over the top light show.
Mindless, not music at all.
Then why are you watching this
Most disappointing video I’ve ever watched
i always hated this song
Retro Renaissance then why are you here lol?
dman2602 because its the last time ever
Good. Don’t come back :)
THEUNHINGEDSANITY Who are you?
what the fuck is this noise!! its like hearing 20songs in one song! good riddance!!
Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Testament, Kreator, Sodum and Sacred Reich all still together. DEP are overrated quiters. Thrash still lives!
Patrick Kesler and DEP went harder than all of them, calm down grandpa 😂
Thrash sucks bro.
yes, they should follow that mold and just put out the same record over and over for another 20 years and not move on to do something more creative.....
Slayer is calling it quits anyway, sorry music can't always be about hell and demons and recycling the same old riffs and drum beats does get quite boring. Move on gramps and let the creative people of the world have their day.
Yes those bands are good but they are basic unlike dillinger.
Love
