Thanks for sharing your recipes. I eat all parts of fennel. My favorite is fennel soup. This is a very light soup with white onions, carrots and fennel bulb and greens with star anise. After sauté the vegetables add salt and bring to boil. I don’t add pepper to this soup as this overpowers the refreshing sweetness of fennel

I love your presentation style. In India fennel seeds are eaten after every meal in every home but I didn't know what to do with the rest of the plant. Thanks a lot for these recipes.

Thank you for the comments. There's so much to do with fennel, that we're happy to help people get use of the entire fennel plant.

Fennel and oranges go together with bulb shallot for the arugula/rocket salad too.

Awesome to see all the different uses for fennel. Was worried about using half of one for some cioppino and not being able to do much with the other half.

Awesome! When I roast meat (mainly foul/birds/turkey/chicken) I throw some big chunks of this around the bird along with some large chunks of onion and also garlic to roast with the meat. Nice soft flavor and not overbearing. Can't wait to try the tea! Thanks Chef Tony!!

You have shown nice ways to use Fennel in a Vegan way. Thank you for that and for this video. :) I also like that you used fennel leaves chopped up as seasoning to either your "Pizza di Pasta/Macaroni" and I think you also chopped fennel leaves and put it on top of your "Pesce Marinato". So, does that mean that I can use fennel leaves by chopping them and using them similar to how Americans use dill instead of throwing them away? I would like to use all the leaves for something and also be able to enjoy that fennel bulb. I like your technique and how you see any food item or ingredient. We both respect them. Before I saw your videos, I would chop vegetables for some recipe or for creating something on my own, and whatever a blender or processor did not chop accurately or whatever is left of my chopping that did not make it into the pot or pan, I eat them raw and get to enjoy their natural enzymes. I am glad that you shared these videos with us. :)

It’s called a “pot filler” so lets say you make a large soup, after all the main ingredients no need to transport the pot to the sink and also for boiling water etc

Would red onion be too overpowering with this dish? I have fennel, arugula and red onion in the garden. Thank you!
