I think it's worth mentioning that great ideation and subsequent initial execution rarely happens in a bubble. The value of two sharp & open minds creatively moving in the same direction yields a 5 to 10x value. I have found this "1+1=5" paradigm invaluable.

Agree. Great ideas not implemented is a failure. Implementing ideas without proper planning is a failure. Angel investors, in addition, wish to know the business plan, the revenue model to review and grant funding once they buy-in the technical details and learn about the problems it can solve. A model or a proof-of-concept is vital.
