Love the video buddy ! My girl and I bought the vacuum last week at Home Depot. It was priced at $35 with tax no more than $40. So anyway this afternoon my girl dropped it on the floor the canister came off but it was fine, so washed the parts real good but I got stumped midway I forgot which way the filter goes white side up or black side up ! So I done did the most logical thing any soul could possibly do and that is go on UA-cam and see if someone is reviewing and taking apart same vac and here you are. Thank you so much.
I know this is 2 years old, but I just had to say that I came on here for the very same reason. After I cleaned the filter, I forgot which was the correct side up, the black or the white felt. I'm glad I watched the whole video though because there were a couple things I did not even know, such as connecting the hose to the handle part that you detach. I was just using the hose itself and attaching the pieces/parts. LOL. 🤦♀️ So if, for example, I was cleaning say cobwebs from the ceiling, I was holding up the entire vacuum by its handle so that it would reach. LOL. And also the cord holder being flexible/movable. No, I guess I didn't read the full instructions when I first got the vacuum. 😂 Thanks so much for posting. 👍
Great review. I have older model of same airspeed and it is pretty worn out so I wanted to check out this newer model. Has some great new features like a lot longer hose for doing vehicle vacuuming easier. Your newer model is over 2 pounds lighter too, that is amazing, 7 pounds total. Powerful vacs in compact lighter design. And the big handle is way better, usually the more expensive models have that style. The green color is cool, my older one has same colors, black and green. Washable foam filter is easy, don't have to wash it every time. After I wash dust bin and other parts, foam filter, I just sit the parts on a floor vent for a day and it is all dry or even out in the sun. Just have to make sure foam filter gets completely dry. Can do it in a clothes dryer carefully too, put it in a mesh dryer bag. If you pay attention you can kind of tell when filter gets dirty and suction is less. I've gone over a month, depends.
First, I bought the Bissell Helix and it required a Philips Screwdriver because it had 2 screws. I don’t have one. I didn’t like how light the handle felt and I just couldn’t believe that those screws were going to be enough. I sent it back and ordered this via Amazon. It will be delivered in 2 days. I found out that the Bissell Vacuums require assembly and tools.
You remind me of the kid whos dad owned a junkyard, his dad tild him he could have anything he could get to work.

I just bought this vacuum but the canister won’t go back on it won’t click into the unit anybody else have this trouble? 😢
