This is awesome to see a positive company making their products in the uk. I hope henry brand is around for a long time because they build their machines to last!! That's a rare thing!!
I’ve had my yellow Hetty over a year and still performing well I love it my parents have a 12 year old Henry that just keeps going and going easy to repair and get parts for
I just rescued a Henry today from being parted out after I saw one being given away for free on a local Freebay group as a "spares/not working". All I had to do was replace the switch, which was very easy to fix as Numatic's industrial philosophy meant that they always used the sort of components that are easy to source from places like RS Components to allow for user fixing. Bish bash bosh, he's working again! This is how appliances should be!
One of the cheapest hoovers you can buy is made in Britain, makes you wonder if other companies are really telling the truth about how high prices would go if the profuct was made in the UK.
My 2 year old grandson is obsessed with this video and Henry hoovers, I bet half the views are from him haha, he has Henry and we are waiting on his little hetty arriving today
Great video I've got a George, I wish Numatic International would still make and produce the Henry hound and the Henry turbo with the electric power nozzle
I have had my henry for over a 11 years and it's still working perfectly. I have also got a Dyson V12 cordless Vacuum cleaner but build quality not anywhere near as good as Henry Vacuum Cleaner.
I've still got an old metal Numatic hoover (predecessor to Henry), when they were made in their old factory in Beaminster, before the move to the Chard factory. Still going ok (touch wood)! Must be getting on for 25-ish years old!
I noticed on the BBC'S most recent Factory program of Numatic that more of the components are being bought in from abroad, Motors from Italy, Bags from Belgium, filters from China, switches from Cech republic. Nothing against poor Henry but I do prefer a machine with a motorised brush bar
I have one so brilliant to see the factory. They have kept the machine nice and simple so reliable, repairable and don't need slave labour in a third world country. For some reason I thought the metal tubes would be made somewhere else so impressed they are made there.
They shouldn’t of replaced the head like they have with the cheap full plastic one as I think it doesn’t glide as well as the old heads do with the metal at the bottom
The current head they use is a Wessel Werk RD266. Wessel Werk make good stuff overall but i agree that the plastic baseplate makes it really hard to push on anything thicker than very low pile carpet. For hard floors it's fine.
@@jamesdanielsfanpage7610 Actually i don't know. I just know you can but not exactly where. I know if you have an original facekit from an older Numatic you could get it duplicated at a specialized shop.
Yeah Henry hoovers are decent. I've had my Henry for a long time now. Even now their prices are very reasonable, you can get a new model for 140 quid or so.
More bacteria than a loo a well now am glad Henry has a bag to keep all that in and guessing now if you have a COVID positive person round there dead sin cell may have COVID on them 🥺😩😩

Reliable, affordable, high quality, powerful and most importantly no dust everywhere compared to bagless cleaners
I find it good that numatic international make their products in the UK

I’ve got my first Henry over 30 years. It's still doing very good. My next cleaner is gonna be a Henry as well. It's a wonderful product. I love it.

Well worth the cash for a great machine that will last for decades. A great British export too!
Definitely the best cylinder vacuum on earth
Built to last in this day and age is absolutely amazing!
If only more products were produced in the UK like this.
I love those vacuums, i had the toy version when i was little

Cheapest!?!? You obviously don’t know how much these things are marked up for the North American market! Cheapest one I can find is well over $200.

the assembly line is amazing
Stuart Cochoran, you look exactly like a Henry

Motors are made by Ametek, they supply motors for many many vacuum brands they make good stuff.

Hendry hoover is the best vacuum in the world.
Do they make the other models such as George and Charles in the UK too? I wonder why they didn’t show the production of those.
Yes they make those and many others.
Had mine 16 years 👍
Henry
Aw I like Henry and his "other friends" 😂. Are they still manufactured in the uk today?
Yeah the vast majority of their line up is made in the UK.
9:24 so numatic still have support for my old Henry from 2008, they still have parts for old Henry’s
Yes. There are plenty of spare parts for Henry
Up until UDS
Long live Numatic! 💓💓💓

I use the metal brush heads at work and the metal parts are very susceptible to wear and the metal eventually splits.
It would be nice if they can sell the Henry face on it own
