Easy Homemade Lasagna: A Step-by-Step Guide

  • Get ready for a classic Italian dish that never goes out of style! Here's a simple and delicious lasagna recipe that yields a rich, meaty, and cheesy masterpiece. Follow along with our step-by-step guide and enjoy a satisfying meal with family and friends.
    Ingredients:
    ½ pound lean mince meat
    Green, yellow and red pepper, chop
    ½ cup minced onion
    Chutney sauce
    Pasta sauce
    Cayenne pepper
    Sweet chilli
    Tomato sauce
    2 clove garlic, chop
    1 ½ teaspoons Paprika
    1 ½ teaspoons salt
    1 teaspoon Mixed herbs
    lasagna noodles
    ¾ cup grated cheese
    2 teaspoons salt
    ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
    INSTRUCTIONS
    Step 1: Prepare the Mince Meat Sauce*
    - Chop the green, yellow, and red peppers, garlic, and onions.
    - Mix and fry them in a pan until they turn brown.
    - Add the mince meat and cook until well done.
    - Season with your desired herbs and spices.
    - Set the sauce aside.
    Step 2: Cook the Lasagna Pasta
    - Boil water in a large pot.
    - Add oil and salt to the water.
    - Cook the lasagna pasta according to package instructions.
    - Drain and set the pasta aside.
    Step 3: Assemble the Lasagna
    - Grease the pan with the mince meat sauce.
    - Begin layering the lasagna:
    - Pasta
    - Mince meat sauce
    - Cheese
    - Repeat the layers, remembering that lasagna doesn't need to be perfect!
    - The more meat and cheese, the more delicious it will be!
    Step 4: Cover and Bake
    - Place toothpicks on top of the lasagna to prevent the cheese from sticking to the foil.
    - Cover the lasagna with foil and bake (30 minutes at 190C).
    Remove foil: 10-15 minutes at 190C to brown the cheese.
    Remove the lasagna from the oven and carefully remove the toothpicks.
    Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
