The difference between MJ, Kobe and Lebron is that, everyone agrees to make a statue for MJ even if he's still alive. MJ is the only player ever to have experienced while still playing he already has his own statue outside your homecourt stadium
I'm just glad even for one last time even though The Chicago Stadium is behind them, it was still around to be in the presence of this important ceremony for Michael. It's meaningful in a way for the fact that Chicago Stadium had just had its last game with the charity event that Scottie Pippen created and Michael was able to be a part of it, but to me and I'm sure Michael took one last look around at it for closure and clarity, hell that's what I would have done, I'm pretty sentimental about things like that ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It made sense in the fact that Michael's first part of his career was over and he was going to leave the past where it needed to be, especially when he would come back and play in The United Center, he had already made memories in The Chicago Stadium, now it was time to make his comeback and new memories in The United Center.
Nah, Jordan's fashion sense fell off a cliff. I feel like I could go back through pictures and pinpoint the year, but this clip of him wearing the studded jacket is definitely when he was descending. He's mid air right there, pun intended.

Imagine newly arriving in a new city/state, and barely 10 years later, you have your own statue dedicated to you.
That's why Isiah Thomas is still bitter to this day lmao
MJ actually hated the idea of having a statue while still living. He talked about it in a book.
where on the internet can I find out what you were referring to? any articles? links?please
he didn't want a ceremony in 93 either, he said it in the video above and beyond

Can’t see his reaction because you put thumbnails over his face at the end. Dislike
Thought he died 😂... Soon.
Jordan has the best statue out of all the players...
I don't know if there's anyone before him but I reckon he's also the first player to have one (that one where it's in the home team's stadium)...
