  • The Giant Swing, also known as Sao Chingcha, is a religious structure in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a tall, red wooden structure that was originally used in a Brahmin ceremony. The ceremony involved swinging high up in the air, trying to grab a bag of coins placed on one of the pillars. The ceremony was discontinued in 1935 after several fatal accidents.
The Giant Swing is a popular tourist attraction today, and visitors can admire its unique architecture and learn about its history. It is located in the Sao Chingcha subdistrict, near Wat Suthat temple.
