Paul you probley already no this but a candle is one..btu.. or the body heat of one person ...if you had two candles.tealights ..in a clay pot it would easily make the camper toastie on the coldest night.ive been snowed in in Scotland at minus 16.windchill and was toastie in a Mazda bongo ..i use a plumbers fireproof mat and put a clay pot in a metal biscuit tin works a treat mate and costs penny's...just make sure you got airflow 😍😎.
Great to have you back doing what you do best Paul. You must be the best "REAL" wild camping chef on the tube, or HAZE but most of us don't want a venison steak with a raspberry jus, we would rather cook real food done al fresco, keep those recipes coming buddy. Maybe a book next....?
Hi Paul, The spaghetti and meatballs looked delicious as does everything you cook! Your van set-up is looking very comfy. How fun to have a big rain while sleeping in there.♥️ See you next time and have a great week!
Great vid, was salivating watching you cook there Paul ! proper grub and not boiling water for pouch meal . You inspired me to get a Trangia 27 last year and which I use when out hiking with the enemy but tend to do cheeseburgers, bacon rolls or soups. but I will have to get a mini Trangia or triangle type as well so I can be more adventurous. Van looks great and will be brilliant over the winter, am proper jealous now. Cheers Paul, keep motivating us all.
@@PaulBissekerBushcraft Yes mate, woods are great for detecting,,, gimme a shout if ya need a hand :D bit of wild camping n the vans while digging up treasure,,, you can cook :D
Damn, I need to get out in the van and get a cook on! For a good portable fireplace I recommend the UCO flatpack grill. About 40 quid, comes in a nice canvas bag. Has worked really well for me 🙂 Thanks for the vid
Great to watch your new film :) You need to add an axe to your van in case you need to make more spatulas. How do you keep your Victorinox knives sharp? Ordinary file or a Victoronox sharpener? Very nice dish as usual 🔥😉
The whole time i was making the spatula i was thinking "Why didn't i put the axe in the van" I have a small hatchet perfect for this! I sharpen all my knives with a small hand sharpener i have used for the last five years. ua-cam.com/video/3LbCl8nCX-8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=PaulBissekerBushcraft
Loved the video. Hope you find your spatula! That has been an old friend on all your adventures. Don't stress the road noise. There was a bit at the start but don't worry about it. Most of us havnt a thousand acres to camp in and your a one man band not a BBC film crew. Keep on doing what your doing mate, its great to have you back, regards to Peter.
Another great motivational upload Paul👊. The trangia is a great cook system, it's my goto stove for most of my camping needs. The meal looked delicious... it should inspiration enough to coin your phrase "get out and cook your own" 👍
Good Morning .. from a South African living in Switzerland .. 👍👍👍 .. that Scoff looks good. Pasta makes for a good base. Onion, Tomato, Garlic and whatever else one can forage to add just rounds things off .. not forgetting the Hot Sauce 🔥. For some reason, your Feed 'got lost' a while back .. must be those You Tube Algorithms. Glad to have found you again. Keep em coming please .. take care ..
Love the colors in the woodgrain of that spatula you carved. I'm on the fence about getting the Trangia Triangle. It's rather expensive, but there's really nothing else that compares to its well thought out design. I think it's fantastic you got the van. For stealth camping you can't beat it. Just went to Indiana to pick up a case of Everclear, so I can burn my Trangia in my sunroom during the cold winter nights - no chemical offgassing like with using denatured alcohol. In my state of Ohio it isn't legal to sell or purchase. I would never drink it. I'm a light weight.
Thanks Patricia. Trangia have a new design triangle in the process. The old ones are very rare now and expensive! We don't drink our Meths as it has a purple dye put in it and it has a disgusting taste. I am trying not to cook in the van, i don't want odours and condensation building up. The walls are carpeted so it would trap it.
Van looks cozy. I used my t27 first time today. It was a little scary. I couldn't put it out so I let it burn down. I hope to learn how to sniff it.oit with the snuffer in use.
Good morning Paul. Mate that food looks great, Jamie Oliver's got nothing on you mate👍 Don't know where you're located guessing you're somewhere around the South East? I was born in Linford Essex just across the train line from East Tilbury. I emigrated to Australia as a kid in December 1971. Stuck in lockdown in Canberra ACT at the minute. Regards the rain you mentioned. They sell an awning called a "Bat wing here in Oz. Guessing they sell them there to, 30 mile an hour winds could be an issue with it staying attached to your van in one piece though🤔😁. Nice work on the spatula Definitely something about creating something from a rough bit of timber isn't there, good for the soul. Thanks for posting Cheers Ian
Will peter be coming out soon as haven’t seen him in your videos for a long time plus are you now permanently a vegetarian as you said you would try for a year which must be about that now.
I try to get Peter to come out. He has started smoking again. He says he doesn't want to come. I haven't eaten meat for 2 years now. I don't miss it at all.
Ahh just when I was looking for another trangia video, you supplied this gift
Your welcome

90% of this vid is lost due to sound being poor .shame as looked interesting.
There's a motorway a few hundred meters away. I used sound compression to try and remove the background noise. I know it's not great.
