I was thinking about getting a cheaper end line wrenches and you convinced me to get the snap on thanks bro

I had an 18mm Snap-on slip off. You have to get them dead-on the flare nut. In awkward position they can spread or slip off. Made of spring type steel (it seems) so it did not damage or permanently spread the Snap-on wrench.
The old Proto and USA made Craftsman are the best line wrenches. Never had those spread or slip off. Proto even makes single sized 12 point with a bar like handle. Sometimes you need a 12 point line wrench.
The old USA Craftsman line flare nut wrenches in Metric are hard to find.
I still have my Sunex set but put those in my truck. They work for most applications but like my old Mac version they a little in the short side. Today Mac Tools is selling non USA cheaper version, pure junk.
The Sunex is on par with the harbor freight Pittsburgh. Not any better.

I had a set of Snap-On line wrenches, the best I ever owned. Sold them when I stopped working on cars.......Now I work on my own car again. Bought a set of Sunex Line Wrench Crow Foot for $25.....used the 18mm on the power steering line when I changed out my Steering Gear this week. The CrowFoot worked great on a extension, and got into a tight spot that I wouldn't have been able to reach with a regular line wrench.

I just seen your video brother, you are 100% correct. Unfortunately the internet is full of haters of tool truck tools. In many cases there is a very good reason you pay extra, it's worth it.
    Stay strong brother.

When it comes to Flare Nut Wrenches or Flare Nut Torque Adopters or Flare Nut Sockets, there is only one option for me, Snap-on Flank Drive!
Do it right or don't do it! I even got 6-point Flank Drive Combination Wrenches from Proto and Snap-on. Yes, Flank Drive!

That's right, some tools... buy them from a lesser brand for cheap price. But you will have SOME tools, you should pony up and get something nice for yourself so your not busting your knuckles while performing at work.

Hey hombre, I have nothing against non tool truck tools, they have their place and Ive trying a lot of them lately. But if I can afford it I buy off the trucks when I can because you only have to buy it once! You get what you pay for and your old man is right, cheap can end up being expensive. But at the same time get the best that you can afford and upgrade when necessary. Also think about this: Not everyone has tool trucks as options and final point: If you have a budget of $$$ for tools and some tools cost $$$ and others cost $$$$$ you have to either buy what you can afford or sacrifice something else tough decisions. example: My offset wrenches are harbor freight pittsburg and some techs might think im crazy but i seldom use them and they have served their purpose where my combo wrenches (everyday use) are snap-on my double boxend wrenches are mac (though i have recently purchased the capri double boxend) my ratcheting wrenches are matco yet my stubby combo are gearwrench (also seldom used) so even though ive rambled on i think everyone will get my point. GREAT VIDEO HOMBRE!!!

Exactly. I have no complaints whatsoever on their sockets. Especially their 3/4 drive, absolutely amazing. But these line wrenches.......

Not trying to discount your story but my experience has been the opposite. I have Snap On, Mac, Tekton, Capri and Sunex Line wrenches and have had success with them all. There is definitely a quality difference (as there should be I paid $92 for a 7/8” Snap On and $60 for 14 Sunex wrenches up to 1 1/4”) but I haven’t experienced any spreading or bending even under extreme torque…

Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few sunex tools, great brand. But the line wrenches just didn't work when I really needed them to.

The thing is with the cheaper brands they sacrifice QC so a batch of line wrenches from sunex could be different from another batch in terms of sizing.

    Lo barato sale caro
Compra barato compra a cada rato 🤣😂🤣😂 nice point there some cases where you really need a high end quality tool even more if you work o heavy equipment I wish you were able to make a video on the sunex wrench open up 😅 I seen wrenches do that but with me applying some torque 🤣 normally I find a way to take loose flare nuts or lines before I end up buying a crow feet flare nut wrench from sunex sae and metric they been pretty good for me but you never know every repair is different every person on this trade of wrenching knows who's the best 😆 some willing to pay when they can afford some have to hustle more and struggle more until they decide or be able to pay the price if you look around every tool wants to be the same or may be better the snap-on but there's no way 🤣😂🤣 I have some snap-on tool in my little collection and I have no complaints just the price when I have to pay cash lol it was easier when I had a dealer pay avery week and make money with the same tool it doesn't feel to bad
Muy buen video es bueno saber que experiencias tiene la gente con otras marcas y como en tu caso manternos lejos de los flare nut wrench de sunex oh the crow feet from sunex is the only tools I have from them 😅 but I have HFT Craftsman Stanley OEM duralast Vim Gearwrench hypertough titan every tool have their own place that's for sure sometimes you can get away some you won't 😅 hay güey me pase con el comentario bueno hasta la proxima
