I was about to complain about Sam beating Bill and Tom until the pulling an Eli manning and beating two patriots greats joke which made it all worth it
Believe us, we'd love to get the UA-cam episodes out first thing in the morning! We tired that for a little bit, but we just found more success with an afternoon release and sometime you just have to listen to the algo
The new scoring system is a good idea but you should be able to vote out one person's score if they intentionally tank/glaze a game. That way you have to keep integrity (JACK) or your score won't count. That 18-1 game being behind a game 1 and women's soccer is horrible, and i watch the women's world cup every year! 😂
January 3rd, 1993. Oilers up 33 on the Bill's 35 to 3. Bills win 41 to 38. One of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen. 1st round playoffs. It's got some juice!
Mount Rushmore of games you guys have done on the Pod….(no order) 28-3 The Chiefs/Pats AFC Championship Malcom Butler SB Heat/Mavs Finals Game that Cuban did
The 18-1 game is criminally low. Jack needs to check his bias or get someone else who can vote without bias. That defeats the whole purpose of the rescoring. Some random underdog team went on a run and beat the best team the NFL has ever seen and prevented them from becoming the greatest team in sports history. They prevented 19-0 from ever happening. If the Pats won he’d have that 19-0 game as number 1.
The greatest games ever are SB LI, the Patriot D really stepped it up, they kept Atlanta from scoring when it was 28-3, so props to all the starters on both sides of the ball, and Julian, that catch you made, you know the one, hey man imo you are a NFL HOFer! Then it’s SB XLIX, the MB INT was game over, to see Tom jumping all over the place was so great. Then Imo Toms game winning drive for Ring number 1, that’s #3.
Game ideas: Jose Bautista bat flip game - 2015 ALDS Game 5 Rangers @ Blue Jays Pedro/Don Zimmer Fight Game - 2003 ALCS Game 3 Grady Little game - 2003 ALCS Game 7 Bloody Sock game - 2004 ALCS Game 6 "Boston this is for you!" Daniel Nava HR after Boston bombing game - April 20th 2013 Royals @ Red Sox Lebron 45 points in Game 6 of 2012 Eastern Conference Finals 2013 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Maple Leafs @ Bruins 4-1 comeback in 3rd period
If brady STILL does not hop on this podcast even after you say something to his face in front of millions of people during his roast, then I'll be insanely disappointed
@TJEversII it was 1980's olympic games between USA and Russia (height of the cold war). Russia was a 4 time defending gold medal team and heavily favored, they were basically pros playing against USA college players. They call it miracle on ice because nobody thought they had a chance but they beat them 4-3. Just because you don't know or care about it doesn't mean that others don't, it would be a perfect game to cover on this podcast.
OMG, Kyler looks great, Tyler is always a great laugh, YET, I feel like I was provided a specific shot of Jules of his Juls.. lol... smell try using Gold Bond for the shoes when he takes them off and agree with Kyler because the system was flawed.. Kevin Coster - Bull Durham (his speech talking to Annie proving he's better..lol) I still want the Duke game and more hockey (Shawn Thornton with 2011 Bruins and Avs 2001 game with Ray Bourque)!! I still cannot get tickets to the Live Show so I am not seeing you guys! 😞
@@almonjoseph4382 well hockey is by far the toughest sport compared to football baseball or basketball. They play 82 regular season games as opposed to 16 in the NFL. And that's literally what it's called. "The hardest trophy to win in sports". It's been that way for years. Watch any hockey game and you'll see athletes that you would never see in any other sport. There are dudes that play with broken bones, punctured lungs, and even torn cartilage and ligaments. It's the ultimate man's game. Also when you get into the playoffs you have to win 16 games to win the cup.
The problem is it that hockey is by far, very far, the least popular of the upper tier of professional sports in North America. I agree hockey is fantastic, but you’re shouting at a hurricane. Something else that should be acknowledged, MLS in time will also breeze past hockey to become a far more popular sport. There really is no situation where any hockey game is considered among the top of a list like this (especially one made by these guys, on their show, these guests).
Chara or Bergeron on here for the Leafs come back would be a dream!! Shawn Thornton?? I’m sure he could get a Bruin in here!? Anything David Ortiz?? Dustin? The little leader? lol Slater was my favorite episode so far
For me the greatest game I've ever watched is Superbowl 51 The New England Patriots vs the Atlanta Falcons people definitely got their money's worth at that game
2022 FIFA World Cup final might be the best game of all time. Mbappe, Messi, Di Maria, Griezemann. Goes to extra time, and then to pens!? Mbappe hat trick, Messi finally wins the World Cup. How much better does it get?
It’d be awesome in real life to have a friendship with Julien Edelman the Kelsey bros and crew…It’d be cool style and such a happy experience to successfully help find the greatest…some of the greatest are up here in Alaska too..right…lol.
Your number 1 should absolutely be lower. Hell, the 2004 ALCS could have a second game and it would get better name points: The Bloody Sock Game. For your to-do list in addition to others already mentioned like Miracle on Ice... the cool Joe / Is that John Candy? Super Bowl against the Bengals, The Catch, Namath's guarantee.
Here is a suggestion for a greatest game ever if you are also including pro wrestling. You did the Iron Man Match which was overrated in my humble opinion. Bret and Shawn had many matches that were better. You gotta bring Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada in and discuss the 7 Star Match that took place at New Japan Pro Wrestling Dominion 2017 in Osaka-jo Hall that went to a 1 hour no contest. Its considered by some the best professional wrestling match in history.
Has anyone ever thrown out the chiefs v bills 13 sec game in the playoffs? I would love to have josh Allen break down that game and be honest about the emotional trauma that caused the organization
Where is SB LII? Much more entertaining than LI, back and forth even contest, literally the most yards in any NFL game ever, and the Philly Special. LII > LI all day.
Don’t understand why you guys gave Cuban crap. That game deserves a high score. The hype surrounding Lebrons free agency and then him trying to get his first title was insane
I tweeted games with names about doing eagles comeback against giants 2010. you guys retweeted said yous gotta do it… Jack i dmed you asking if its in the works. well is it???
Looking at 1-10 as A-F is wrong. 5 should be average ( C+/B-) bc am F would be anything less than a 6 which means you might as well set the scale to 1-6. My take has always been average should be a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale. Bc bad and awful are easy enough to differentiate so letting anything over a 7 be rare makes the scales so much more interesting.
go back and look at earlier episodes this year I was saying in the comments how that part of the show is a bad and clunky segment when you guys were asking for feedback
Shit week 14 2019 San Francisco vs New Orleans. Get kittle on to talk about bud monster game and play to save us the win just like VD did for us years before
Ok, major rant post incoming….before I start, the good stuff. I’m a born and raised Boston guy in my early 50’s, I would never root for any other teams than the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and Red Sox. So I’m a homer or sure. And i obviously love the pod, listened to probably half of the episodes. Just finished this one and I was compelled to leave the club lounge at a hotel with free food and booze to go back to my room and make these comments…. First, of all the games in all the leagues in the history of sports, how the fuck you have the top 3 all be patriots games??? I’ll give you that the patriots never made it easy and all their big games were close, but the top 3 of all time?? I agree with the 28-3 and probably the Butler game are at least top 10, but stop sucking each other dicks about your #1? Seriously? Was a good game for sure, but number 1? It wasn’t a championship game and the best and most memorable part to me was Brady/Gronk still here instagram post. But best game EVER? Sigh. So sad, how is that better than 28-3 or even Seahawks Super Bowl? First of all, Chiefs we’re not a dynasty at the time the game was played. Second, the offsides call kinda ruins it. In any case, best game of all time? Put the crack pipe down and take 2 steps back. Should rename the pod, Patriots games with names. Reach out - Barcelona down 4-0 to PSG and then goes there and wins 6-1 winning on aggregate in the champions league so under represented as an example. Barca beating PSG away by 5 goals is like the patriots beating the chiefs by 185 points. Guys - I love the pod, I’m definitely an Edelman fan - though in fairness back in 11-12 I was more like - “who the fuck is this guy - this is what we have?” But he grew into the role and became a cornerstone of the team. I love the concept of,the pod, but when 2 Boston sports fans and a former patriot have 3 pats games as the top 3 games ever played, it loses legitimacy and seriousness. Those 3 games were great games for sure, just not top 3 ever played. So Kyle and Jackie or whatever your names are - take Julian’s dick out of your month and get real. You guys look at JE11 the way he looks at TB12. Keep up the content because it’s good and you guys are funny and clever, but broaden your horizons beyond New England. PS the guy who called in about miracle on ice is probably correct. The US beating russia in the 80 Olympics is, to borrow a popular reference, like foxboro high school beating the ‘07 pats___ Shame on your #1. Great game, sure, but best game ever across every sport in the world? Sigh.
You do realize they haven’t covered every game in the history of sport right? Edelmans a patriots legend so many of his guests were either on the pats or they end up talking about the patriots. It’s A football heavy podcast, So the NFLs greatest dynasty is gonna be top of the rankings. At least for the first 50 games covered. The guys can kiss up sometimes but what why care? It’s Julian’s show. Imagine having a podcast with one of your favorite sports players.
Rate our new scoring system 1-10
8.5
Theory 8, execution 2 (thanks birdwatcher jack)
A glazing 8.6
Should drop the highest & lowest scores of the 4 & average the 2 left over
8.8 A MONSTER score.
One score, everybody knows the rules.
“You’re wearing sandals and your balls are out!” LMAO Kyler gonna be going ham after this
This is a far better podcast than New Heights - the actual football talk and Xs and Os are untouchable. Great insight into the sport.
Different shows. One is made for x o and other is fun entertainment comedy type but with sports as well
Gotta get Dan Soder in here for a 49ers game. Get some great jokes and maybe some fun dirt on Mike McDaniel.
Matthew Slater was a great guest, clearly he and Jules could finish each other’s jokes.
Came for Jules, stayed for Kyler in a tux and Jack's sneaky low ball scores!
Great episode! Live chat was awesome! Please do it again!
I was about to complain about Sam beating Bill and Tom until the pulling an Eli manning and beating two patriots greats joke which made it all worth it
I've been waiting for this all day...and I'm not kidding when I say that! Kyler, looking pretty good in the tux!!
It’s sucks how you guys release the reels first to suck people in, but damn does it work. I want to see this so bad 😂
Why does that suck
WTF are you talking about?
It’s rescored. You must’ve had a Kraft moment and got a tug while watching.
Soooo…. Watch it?
Believe us, we'd love to get the UA-cam episodes out first thing in the morning! We tired that for a little bit, but we just found more success with an afternoon release and sometime you just have to listen to the algo
Greatest game: 2013 Bruins vs Leafs game 7. Down 3 in the 3rd, two empty net goals to tie the game. AMAZING!
Get Tom on to talk about that 24 point comeback against Denver in 2013. That game was special to watch 🐐.
Love this show!! You guys have been amazing!! Shout out to Ty Law!! “Shot o clock” lol 😂
You guys will have to do another re scoring at episode 100
January 3rd, 1993. Oilers up 33 on the Bill's 35 to 3. Bills win 41 to 38. One of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen. 1st round playoffs. It's got some juice!
I want this one too 😢
Bring Frank Reich on
Mount Rushmore of games you guys have done on the Pod….(no order)
28-3
The Chiefs/Pats AFC Championship
Malcom Butler SB
Heat/Mavs Finals Game that Cuban did
Matt Light was actually your best episode

let me just tell you, the new scoring system is the equivalent of tom papa’s sourdough bread
Gotta do The Tuck Rule game with Charles Woodson! Cmon boys
Indeed 👍👍
Game ideas:
Jose Bautista bat flip game - 2015 ALDS Game 5 Rangers @ Blue Jays
Pedro/Don Zimmer Fight Game - 2003 ALCS Game 3
Grady Little game - 2003 ALCS Game 7
Bloody Sock game - 2004 ALCS Game 6
"Boston this is for you!" Daniel Nava HR after Boston bombing game - April 20th 2013 Royals @ Red Sox
Lebron 45 points in Game 6 of 2012 Eastern Conference Finals
2013 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals Maple Leafs @ Bruins 4-1 comeback in 3rd period
You three should score each game at the end so there is no bias.
That Pats vs Seattle game is objectively the best game. "The Butler did it!" is also a much better name to boost that score my dudes.
What what the Blackhawk game 6 at Boston down late in 3rd and they score 2 goals in the final 1:16 13seconds apart to win the cup
What about **
If brady STILL does not hop on this podcast even after you say something to his face in front of millions of people during his roast, then I'll be insanely disappointed
Brady is kind of a cuck for that and not at least mentioning he’s leaving New England
You guys MUST get Darren McCarty for Fight Night At The Joe - Red Wings v Avalanche.
1990 NY Giants Super Bowl with Bill B. and L.T. I think would be a lot of fun
Miracle On Ice is number 1.
Against all odds that must've been crazy to witness that

Jules y’all have to do the 2009 Superbowl between the Saints and Colts with the surprise onside kick and the Porter pick 6
1:06:10 - Kyler, it was 2013. It was that Cup run which they ultimately lost in game 6 to Chicago.
Hand up! Thought it was the cup run year, my bad.
@@kylerschelling No problem. I want to forget how their 2013 ended too.
Speaking of 2013, time to get Pedroia to come on the pod.
2004 ALCS “Cowboy Up” or “is the curse over?”
Maybe the "Reverse the Curse" game? It's always bothered us that game/series doesn't have a better name.
